Is there any way show the notification panel by swiping from the bottom of the screen instead of the top(default)?
basically is there anything that will allow me to view the expanded notification panel without having to pull down from the status bar?
You haven't gotten any responses because it isn't possible. End of story. New to Android?

Nah but upgrading from a galaxy s4 that has been on 4.4 for 3 years(custom rom) With the new galaxy, its harder to reach the status bar when using one hand.
I agree with you with this one... The navigation bar is a bit of a pain to reach, Although pinning apps to edge bar seems to work OK for me.

then use the one hand operation to make it easier. that's what it is there for. tap the home button three times. that will make the screen smaller, and easy for one hand operation. if you don't have it setup, then go into settings, and advanced settings.
You should try the notification edge panel I bought it straight away then i realised I could of bought the edge notification panel from playstore with the reward app I had.
No way to move the notification pull down itself, but using Nova Launcher Prime (the pay version), you can set up a screen gesture to open the notification shade. You can assign to a downward swipe (starting anywhere on the screen), or a double tap, or other options. Unfortunately, I think this only works from the home page, not from within another app.

Yup. best answer!
I've been using this for years. Still not the same as having a smaller phone though.
Swipe down for notifications, swipe up to sleep.

I should have posted an update but found a work around.
Using All In One Gestures app, I can swipe up from the home button and it will expand the notification panel. This works in any app unlike the Nova option.
Hi, you can use fooView, it allows to expand notification just pulling down the floating icon down, and other actions like back, home, recent, etc. with just one hand.

Hi everyone,
Does any body know an, app, script, or any other way to lock a system app on memory?
My issue is with Edge apps panel.
It seems that everytime after unlocking my Galaxy S7 Edge or a minute or more has past from theast time I opened the Edge apps panel, when swiping the edge to open the apps panel, the system reloads all apps in the panel, causing a small lag.
Thank you.
I've never been a fan of the edge display or the shortcuts and panels, not sure if I'm the only one thinking that samsung put a half baked feature.
Anyway I was asking if someone knows of an edge panel that lets you open apps as a floating window or popup, like opening the calculator, calendar or browser.

Hi....If you want to use floating windows go to .......Settings >> Advanced features >> Multi windows and set what you need........it's very simple and you're not required Edge panel for that.... [emoji6]
S7 edge Powered by Echoe
Thanks @Xode,
What I meant is to have a shortcut to launch them in a floating window directly.

Omg..double post again

@Xode, thanks, no problem about the triple post lol.
I know about that feature, but it's not what I also want, I want some sort of app that creates a shortcut that launches apps in floating mode directly,
it would really be nice to launch apps like the calculator from the edge panel in a floating window directly!
Thanks again for your help!
Maybe look at Swiftly switch sidebar or the Pro version . Also try apps edge from Galaxy apps (see next post for screenshot)
Screenshot referred above.

So I have been looking around for the a way to get the App pairing edge panel off the Note 8 on my S8 plus and ran into a free app called Split screen creator on the app store. Did my like the way it set till I started thinking maybe I can add those shortcuts to one of the panels and sure thing the Tasks Edge panel let's you add those shortcuts to it and here you go you have the same exact thing as long as the apps paired support multi window. I take no credit as the app is not mine at all I just did the homework and it works great no root needed or anything and I just thought I would share that with anyone who wants the same panel as me. Also once you're done adding the shortcuts to the Tasks Edge panel you can remove them from your home screen or any screen you have them on and they still work in the panel. Thank you and hope that you guys enjoy. Anyone have a question please ask
You needed pairing app

Hello dears . I bough this watch 5 months ago and in the catalog and on the official web site they claims that the watch have an air gesture wake up feature . I tried to search my watch for that option but i didn't find any thing related . Can any watch owner help here
Usually the settings for the palm brightness is in the launcher settings. So drag the screen down for the top and swipe right. You should see all the wifi / bt settings etc and in these settings there will be a icon for hand bright screen on and off. Toggle this on and see if it works. Failing that, you could download the Universal Launcher from the Playstore and do the same with that.
You could also download a sensor app, that will display your sensor information in real time - just to check that your accelerometer is working correctly. I think the app is called Sensoroid.
Thanks alot
