deepsleep not working on custom b600 - P8lite Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I did a dirty flash over the sokkobans b596 rom, and now deepsleep is not working... I'm using only kernel adiutor and lspeed.. What can be the problem? Should i wipe everything and install again? After several reboots, still the same...

I think that happened to me too. The battery was discharging SO fast and holding the phone into charging was heating so much!
I have right now LOS 13 for developing reasons and the phone does not heat at all, even when charging, when in custom B600 even youtube was forcing the phone.

You could try using Greenify and it's Agreessive Doze feature or ForceDoze

It's too soon for such a request.
But since you asked, Blisspop and Ressurection Remix are good. [5.1.x]

Well currently I'm also using stock with some mods but the main issue is battery drain so which ROM can I use to reduce battery drain..
I got an increase in battery life an amazing one that is by doing the privacy guard thingy that is mentioned in the forum. You switch off wake up autostart and keep awake in advance options in the advance tab under privacy guard which is in the privacy tab and the battery increase was insane. Search the forum for a better tutorial. It will surely help

1- Do a Dalvik cache wipe.
2- Flash a custom kernel. [I'd suggest Sandy 1.3 CPUQuiet build]
3- Keep governor at interactive>>runnable [this is the default, optimized for more battery] or interactive>>load_stats [this should improve performance at higher loads]
4- Enable MSM Thermal [this should fix the heating problem]
5- use Greenify 2.6+ with Xposed, if you're not using it already [this should help in hibernation]
6- Use Recently [this should stop the infamous memory leak Lollipop is known for]
7- Use Amplify for controlling all device wakelocks [this should help maintaining the CPU activity]
8- You can access PrivacyGuard and close the wake up and keep awake switches for all apps you think are necessary [this should reduce the CPU idle usage]
^Do all these and I don't think you need to worry about your battery at all.
Also, can you tell me which app uses most of your battery?

1- MSM Thermal is actually a kernel feature. You may use Device Control to activate it.
1- Also you can use Temperature Throttle from TricksterMod.
2- Xposed for our device is a pain in the butt.
Try to find an xposed sdk21 arm64 zip. Normal arm builds won't work because we have an arm64 CPU. The zip is unstable though. Flash it and reboot.
Then find an apk file xposed 3 alpha 3
If you can't find them I will provide the links soon.
Then use the modules you want.
3- classic. The PrivacyGuard thing should help in this.
I'm being curious, but what kind of mods have you originally applied on your phone?

Yeah it's okay. The framework is active. The app is still in alpha stage for 5.0.x and upwards. You can now install/uninstall modules normally, but you can't reboot through Xposed.

Random sleep of death with COS12.1 & Chroma Kernel

Hey guys, I was faced with a disturbing issue.
A few days ago I flashed my Z1 with CyanogenOS and ChromaKernel R4. I also installed Synapse to change CPU governer to "Conservative". Everything looks fine at first. But recently I found that sometimes when I pressed the HOME button to make screen on, it just didn't wakeup and then lost control. The screen is all black, all buttons wouldn't work, but I can see the LCD backlight module is working. So I had to long press the POWER button to force reboot. After reboot it would be fine, but may happen again in random times. I tried to turn on "wakeup boost" in Synapse but looks no improvement.
Anyone could help me to solve this issue? Many thx.
plz help me:crying:

Battery eating allot

Hi guys,
Sorry if i made a new thread..!!
I am using Bliss 6.0 ROM with squid kernel..!!
Right now i charged to 100% and within half and hour ( not using the phone ) my battery dropped to 10%
I can see Wifi, android OS, running..!!
I am not sure what to do, also I am using lionfish and tweaked according to this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-play/general/power-users-post-optimal-setup-t3313348/page11
Not exactly tweaked..just my processer is at 1.4 as i need a little performance..!! except that I have done everything said on that post.
Plz help
According to the screenshot, betterbatterystats also show wifi is on, wifi running..same as stock battery display..and 23% of a loss??? Is this normal?
install greenify and enable the aggressive doze mode. charge to full again and see if it would make any difference.
Amplify + Greenify + Appopsxposed + Powernap and no one can touch your battery.
go back to stock and check.

don't you have twrp backup of stock ROM??? restore it
Since you have BBS installed, check and post screenshots of the other stats ("Kernel Wakelock", "Partial Wakelocks", "Alarms", etc.)

Can somebody help my battery drain problem

http://imgur.com/a/bZ6UA0k
I'm on 22% rn and the line just kept going down in the same speed
When it's straight line is when Im not using it (Ofc)
ROM: DotOs
What I could think are 3 possibilities :,
1.Rom not optimised or installed improperly
2 you've installed something that is causing battery drain (magisk modules/apps/mods through twrp)
3. Kernel issue if you've installed a custom one
Could be something else though

Somebody said liquidremix with moun kernel got him good battery so I installed it, didnt fix it and here is the order of me installing the rom
Flash rom
Reboot recovery (cosmicdan twrp)
Flash kernel
Flash magisk
Flash gapps
Reboot system
And it booted up
I dont see any apps I would have installed that make the battery worse or twrp mods and my only magisk module is google product sans font

I'm not sure about moun kernel, but I've installed Xtreme kernel or something (on liquid remix) after that my phone won't detect my sim and the rom came really sluggish and unresponsive. After that, Ive just went back to stock rom and forget about it. Maybe moun kernel isnt optimised for dotos. Can you share your app usage and screen on time, so I can get an idea?

Xposed / Oreo (AEX ROM 8.1)

Hi guys !
I just bought the Greenify app in order to have access to the GCM Push Notification and I just realized it was available only with the Xposed extension.
So my question is : Is Xposed stable enough to work with Oreo, specially with a custom ROM ? (AEX)
Thanks !
I always install Xposed, haven't had any issues besides certain modules not working on Oreo (and nougat), almost all modules work fine, the only one that I remember not getting to work is Unicon. I have had Xposed on AEX and had no issues (I've never used greenify though, so idk about greenify specifically)

Yeah, forgot to mention that, its not a bootloop issue, first boot with xposed can take up to 15-20 minutes, usually mine took about 10-15, after that app boots should be normal.
