Strange "system_server" & "system_server (1000)" Apps Requesting for Root Access - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Strange "system_server" & "system_server (1000)" Apps Requesting for Root Access
Hi all,
Need your expertise advice on the below mentioned issue I encountered yesterday.
There are two strange apps name called "system_server" and "system_server (1000)" prompted to request for root access permission several times via my SuperSU app.
Does anyone know what are those apps for and their purpose of requesting root access permission? Is it tiggered by certain apps running on background? Or perhaps could it be something got to do with Samsung? I am really unsure. I afraid that it could be some sort of malware or viruses and that is why I had denied their root access permission.
I even tried to search for those apps in App Manager but to no avail. I had never encountered this before in the past. Should I just ignore it or I need to do something about it to prevent unfortunate events from happening? What are your views on this?
Between, I am having a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910G) Snapdragon, MM 6.0.1, custom RamKernel RC3, Systemless Rooted with SuperSU & Xposed 87.0.
If you need more information, please do not hesitate to ask me.
Thank you in advance for your help.

[Q] Apps' conflict. Need help

Hope I find an answer to my problem, so I'll be as quick as I can.
I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 on Kitkat 4.4.2, International Exynos Octa core version.
My problem is that, after I have installed Switchr and Clean Master, and whenever I perform a "deletion" of junk files on Clean Master-which includes four main categories: 1-Memory boost
2-Cache junk
3-Residual junk files
4-Obsolete APKs -
I get the root permissions for apps forgotten in SuperSu -so apps need to be granted root access again- and the Switchr edge trigger gone -the latter is restored once I open Switchr, so I was wondering where the problem is. My guess is that the problem resides in "memory boost" section, but that means I'm not performing any other memory boosting in order too keep my apps' preferences.
Do you have a solution for me? Or an alternative to Clean Master that'll relieve me from this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Are you granting permanent right to the app, no just temporary?
Upgrade the binary in the SU app
Re install SU app

Yes I am granting permanent right for the app.
The binary files are up to date
for the third, i don't think there is the problem, my guess is that clean master is behind this noise
Thanks for your answer anyway dude:good:

[Q] Possible Half-Rooted device, or other problem?

Hello to everyone,
I own a Galaxy S5 G900F, (Unlocked Variant).
I have downloaded and installed LOLLIPOP AMBASADII.ODEX.V6.1 ROM with Aroma Installer and I am using Amplitude Kernel.
The rom came pre-rooted, with SuperSU Installed. I Only updated the app from the PlayStore. The program DID NOT prompt me for Binaries Update. I also have BusyBox installed.
When I check the root status with Root Checker, it says Success, which means there is root permission. Also, I checked it with Platinum Backup, and it also gives permission for root access. Finally, I downloaded a Root Browser, and that works fine as well.
The problem is with value-changing apps like game killer, game cih, haXplorer and game guardian. Although they prompt me to give permissions, and I chose "allow", none of them is able to work.
In game killer, it says "root privilage is needed"
In haXplorer, as soon as I open it is says "shutdown"
In game guardian, the program auto closes instantly.
All the above issues have to do with proper root Access.
So, how is it possible for programs like FX File Explorer (root), titanium (root), root checker and others to have root access, while others don't?
I would really like your answer on this, as I am trying for one week to solve this issue with no results.
Thank you.
Once you get root access, it is sytem wide, not by app.

Thank you for the reply. Yeah I know that, so what should be the problem?
Maybe you need an app to hide or cloak root status.
That such thing exists for Xposed framwork, but thus it is not comparible with 5.0 TW ROMs, you will have to downgrade back to 4.4.2 in order to use it.

Unable to convert user app to system app

Hello guys,
I'm a bit out of the Android world since some years, I got my new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Duos and I love it.
I installed a Stock ROM using Odin and rooted it with CF-Auto and I have root access now.
However, it seems like I am unable to convert User Apps to System Apps. I tried it with apps such as Titanium Backup and others. As an example of Titanium Backup, it just "hangs" at the "Processing" step and that's it, force killing Titanium Backup doesn't help. The app that should be converted just disappears ("uninstalls") and thats it. I found about S-ON/S-OFF but believe it applies only to HTC phones, doesn't it?
I tried many other applications that claim to convert User Apps to System Apps, without success. Either the app just disappears like with Titanium Backup, or the tool to convert doesn't even work claiming "you're not rooted", even though the phone is certainly rooted.
I tried to do it manually with a root explorer, moving the folder from /data/app/ to /system/app/, the folder is moved, permissions are set, but it didn't work either, the app just doesn't show up.
Does anyone know what I missed? I tried to find a solution by Googling 2 days and trying multiple ways, unfortunately without luck.
Thanks everyone who has any hint to that!
Cheers!
I'm in the same page as you I have been trying to move apps to the system but without luck the reason why I want to do it is because none of the apps that I usually use with root work I'm using a galaxy s7 edge g935FD.
The reason why you can not do that is because samsung uses se for android and on top of that we have this knox
If you can change the selinux from enforcing to passive you Shuld be able to do what you want
I have not found a way to do that
Any news on this?

BEFORE READING, MAKE A BACKUP PRIOR TO THIS ANSWER:
I'm sorry to say, but it would need to be done using the file manager via TWRP. It is a lil tricky because it lacks concise deletion. So it is best to use a rooted file explorer (es file explorer is beneficial for this) and look around these locations:
/system/app
/system/priv-app
/oem/app
/oem/priv-app
Each folder holding the apk must be deleted individually in TWRP's file manager, or you WILL face a possible soft-brick.
Good luck.
(The reason why is, because the oem section is more secure to avoid a break of the phone itself, so it will freeze everytime while the actual OS is in use. Doing it via TWRP ensures deletion and avoiding a freeze bc the recovery OS is different from stock OS)

Help|Magisk 15.3 in Galaxy s8 plus.

Hello xda, i have a problem with magisk root.
I installed WifiKill and more tools of network managment and when i try to start the Wifikill proccess i've got an error
ioctl Permission denied
Someone know's how to solve this problem ?
Outdated.
AFAIK, WifiKill isn't maintained anymore regardless where you get your copy from.
Tried to use it back then on my S7E (Now on Note8) and it wouldn't work (Neither SuperSU or MagiskRoot)
Not an issue with Magisk itself but rather the App.
You can jump to alternatives such as dSploit/ cSploit from F-Droid etc., those recognize and are updated.
cSploit won't work too.
Any help?
