Hey Guys,
recently when I use my Gear VR and watch a youtube video for example the whole interface veeeery slowly moves to the left! Does any of you have the same issue? I wonder if it has something to do with the oculus software (you know sometimes they break stuff when they update it) or are my sensors on my device defective? Can I test my sensors somehow or reset them?
Anyone? is there a way the calibrate the gyroscope? and what apk is for the samsung device test that comes when input *#0*#? i debloadet and it doesn't pop up anymore.

Im getting really pissed off here, i apologize but i need a solution
Samsung s4, I9505 with latest Cyanogenmod flashed.
Noticed that my phone is drifting to the right every time i play a game or using Google cardboard.
any way to fix this?
I have the same issue on the i9515 (S4 VE).
When holding the phone still and straight during a cardboard app:
the view rotates continuously
the horizon is at an angle
I've tried:
Calibrating gyroscope using *#0*#
Calibrating magnetic sensor using *#0*#
Calibrating using GPS status app
calibrating by moving the device in a "figure 8" shape several times
All to no avail. Note that all testing apps and the *#0*# show that the sensors work perfectly, and I don't have problems in other apps. So maybe it's a cardboard-specific issue?

In addition: I tested using an app called "Hang gliding" by i-mmersive. This is a VR app, but not cardboard. It doesn't have the symptoms above. Hence it seems to be a cardboard-specific issue indeed.
The drift is actually being caused by the magnet in the cardboard headset.. And not all VR apps take the drift caused by the magnet into account while calibrating the gyroscope..You can either a)remove the magnet or b)use a second magnet at the opposite end to neutralize the effect caused by the first magnet(better option)
No it is not caused by the magnet in the google cardboard.

Please verify things before proclaiming as matter of fact.
I can confirm this is occurring without any cardboard magnets. I have plastic version of Google cardboard that has no magnets and it still happens.

Try the suggestions given on the page and next time, try searching Google. This was one of the top five results on the page.
I too have experienced constant drift in VR apps, and I also am not using any magnets (I built mine out of a cardboard box and some hobby-lobby lenses). After downloading a dozen calibration apps from Play Store and the problem not going away, I finally tried something that fixed my drift problem:
1. Start Google Cardboard
2. Notice the drifting
3. Notice your hands are most likely shaking
4. Set the phone down so that the gyro has a chance to steady itself
5. Pick phone back up
6. Notice no more drifting
7. Rejoice!
For everyone that has the drift problem...
1. download cardboard app form google play store
2. find a 3d headset QR code and use it with your cardboard app
Worked for me..
I have notice this as well. The worst is the shaking. *NOTE: This doea not happen when in Oculus GearVR. I used a calibration testing app and noticed my accelerometer to be constantly on the run. I grabbed "Accelerometer Calibration Free" off of the play store and there was a SLIGHT improvement I also turned my filters on sensors all the way up with another app but that was questionable so I dont want to slander or promote. In the end for Verizon at least I believe the answer to be AS CUSTOMERS WE ARE ALL TO DUMB TO CALIBRATE OR HAVE THE ACCESS TO. I mean really this is what they are saying when we get locked out of general settings like calibration, and have all access codes to such features locked. I think big red got to big for their own britches. So if you want to calibrate root and re rom. If the custome rom locks you out......well maybe they are fatening up to. Or just not paying attention to detail... ANOTHER NOTE* IF YOU RUN CALIBRATION OR TEST APPS YOU WILL SEE UNCALIBRATED SENSORS THIS IS NORMAL AND IS A SECONDARY SENSOR(s) THAT PROVIDES RAW DATA TO THE SYSTEM......So don't trip.
I have redmi 4. It seems that cardboard uses one of device cameras as a additianal signal to stabilize image screen. Unfortunately, in redmi 4 cardboard takes signal from front camera - this camera is usually closed by vr-headset. Who knows, maybe some of you have the same problem.
Weird issue with my gs5

HI,GUYS.
Nowadays, Smartwatches are getting much popular than smartphones as they are offering much more than people expected. And as usual, Chinese manufacturers are the top players in that matter. One of them is No.1, a popular smartwatch manufacturing company. They have recently announced their No1 G5 smartwatch.
The main features as follow:
-CNC CRAFTS
-316L STAINLESS STEEL
-WIRE DRAWING CASE
-TPU PASTIC MATERIAL
-SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL
-HEART RATE MONITORING
-GYROSCOPE ACCELERATION SENSOR CONFIGURATION
-BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY
-AUTOMATIC LIGHT UP
INTELLIGENT POWER-SAVING
-REMOTE CAMERA
-PEDOMETER
-SLEEP MONITORING
-REMINDER SEDENTARY
I have this watch. Heart rate on this watch is fake. Just randomly shown the figure between 84 to 74bpm even though you are on running.... ( I check with my other heart rate). After 10 day of using the battery only last for 4 hours despite of I turn off Bluetooth and not connected to my phone.
Hello, I have also purchased this watch and it was performing very well. However after installing a .vxp file, the watch seems to be bricked. There is only black screen without getting access to Settings or other menu.
Does anyone know how to Factory Reset or Enter Safe Mode for this watch model. I have contacted No.1 phones facebook page, however did not get any response yet.

It is already on this forum, you can search other threads to know more about G5.

The gyro was not working more, so after several firmware flash, I deleted from flash software calibration files and now does not work anymore even the heart rate sensor
believing that recreated at startup, I wish qualcuni helps me making a backup of the Rom so that I can restore it on my own and get back the calibration file, please help me guys, and very little work, but useful for me, thank you very much
News??
Sorry, I do have a G5, but I don't know how to make a ROM. You may post in the correct thread other users may help you.
Hey all - Not sure if this is a common bug or not - if I do NOT have Fit installed on my phone, fit tracks steps on my watch fine, but if I install Fit on my phone, it just reads zeros for current activity on the phone and the watch.. but if I uninstall Fit on the phone, it seems to work fine on the watch. Trying to figure out if it's a phone or watch issue. I did give it permissions to read sensors on both phone and watch on install. Using a huawei watch
Hi there,
I did all necessary steps to make the app "Need For Speed VR" believe it is now running on "Sailfish", using my G928F.
Controller Emulator installed and working on a 2nd phone.
Just when I enter "Daydream" on the G928F, it works...for 1 second (the mountain scene), then the fps goes down to like 0,1 fps.
Pressing the powerbutton then, getting the blurry screen with the switch off option, emergecny call etc, moving around the G928F,
clearly shows a nice fluent movement in the Daydream app.
Going back to the app its 0,1 fps again, when trying to go back to the app.
I googled around a lot today and gave up.
Either the G928F is simply not enough to handle this "trick" or there are more performance boosts, that I havent discovered yet.
Any info is appreciated.
I know I'm late but to fix that, you freeze the Google VR service app. But DONT UNINSTALL IT
Hello.
I've had the Galaxy S5 for a while now (5 years), and while it is not my main device at this stage, I still keep it around as a backup phone.
On Pie-based ROMs and earlier, the heart-rate monitor worked just fine, on Samsung Health it just required to download a little apk and it would function with no issues, and 3rd-party apps like Cardiograph would be able to use it with no issues.
However, it seems that in Android 10 and 11, the HRM can't be accessed at all. It is detected, Samsung Health shows the option, but the sensor just doesn't do anything. And in 3rd-party apps, it isn't even an option I can use. I only can use the flashlight and camera combo, which I really don't want to use.
Does anyone know why it doesn't work? Is it something to do with how 10 and up work? And can something be done about? Or will I have to remain on Pie?
