noob help: Knox tripped? - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

I have a very strange "predicament".
I rooted my S8+ exynos G955F around 2 weeks ago with magisk and the Knox rating shows 0x0 in various apps such as SamMobile device info:

Download Mode:
So what I really want to know is, is my knox Tripped?
Samsung pay and secure folder don't work but health does after using this fix:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/guide-how-to-s-health-devices-knox-t3543306

looks like your knox has been tripped. download mode does not lie. what did you do to get it tripped?

Congratulations! Rooting does this to all Samsung phones. Now have fun.

That's what Magisk v12 does : It fools your system to make it say "0x0"
But knox can't be fooled.
In some countries (like in Europe), rooting your phone doesn't make you loose your hardware warranty. Don't know where you come from ?

Any source on this?

Legality > European Union

Your Knox is tripped. Samsung pay will likely never work on that device again.

Android Pay might with magisk

[Q] Root for lollipop

I haven't used my S4 in a while since i got my S6 Edge i was wondering is there a root for the S4 5.0 I've been looking everywhere and no luck yet
I'm seconding this question.
In addition I'm on 4.3 and my system can't even manually pick up on the update. What's up with that?
Third that...
I just got my S4 L720 replacement, came pre-loaded with 5.01 and I can't find a way to root it, cant do anything with it really...
Haaaaallp!
Just use Odin to flash TWRP, then in TWRP flash Chainfire's SuperSU.
It's the same as KitKat, what mattzeller said or Odin CF-AUTO-ROOT by Chainfire

Ok I'm not an expert at all and I don't want to follow the wrong guide and mess everything up. I googled some of the terms and I don't feel confident enough in what I found.
How exactly do I get to KitKat (be it the stock rom or the one really close to it) and root it?

Whats a ROM that i can flash via ODIN and not trip KNOX?

hello guys! i've been out of the rooting game for a while so i'm kind of lost. My mom has this phone, and we just moved. i want to get the wifi tethering mod on her phone so she can use her ipad and stuff. she's not really good with tech so i want a ROM that looks like 5.0.1 so she wont get confused with a new UI. I dont want to trip KNOX, so there a rom that looks or is like 5.0.1 (doesnt have to be that exact version) that i can flash via odin? i know i sound stupid but its been a while. thank you very much

Picture of bootloader to spot a fake one

I need help!!!
Previously I have purchased S5 phones which were on lollipop. So when I used to boot them up by holding volume up+home+power button, the bootloader would show me information about model number and Knox warranty, knox kernel etc.
Today I went to buy an S5 which had MarshMallow. I booted up in odin mode, and the recovery looked very similar to TWRP. Also there was no mention of Knox anywhere.
Can someone post a picture of 6.0.1 odin mode (obviously removing sensitive information) so I can get an idea what I am looking for?
It would save me from buying a clone S5

And thats on MM 6.0.1? If yes then I definitely avoided a fake one today. Thank you so much.
At one point I thought I was overthinking it and may be samsung updated interface with MM for Odin Mode but the lack of Knox information really gave it away.
Doesn't change between ROMs, same through KitKat > Lollipop > MarshMallow
Volume Up & Home & Power is recovery though
That screen above is Volume Down & Home & Power for Download mode

Rooting s8, no oem unlock

Tried to root my S8 sm-g950u, latest software update(qde), with cf auto root. I, however, do not have an oem unlock in developer options. Does this mean it's unlocked or not unlockable? I tried the cf auto root anyway, bad idea i assume, and odin kept failing or giving me a sha256 is invalid. i later realized the cf auto root was for the previous update. can't get twrp on it either. my latest idea was to flash the previous update, but i could not find a sprint version(the only one i found the connection would time out). suggestions?
You can't root it if it's a North American S8 as it have Snapdragon (unlockable bootloader).
You cant root any snapdragon phones.

[QUESTION] Custom ROM + Knox

Hello everyone!
I want to flash a custom ROM, but I'm concerned with Knox...
I had a J7 Prime, and when I flashed a custom ROM, Knox was broken forever. Was hard to setup my work account (aka G-Guite or Google For Work) on that device, because the account believed my phone was corrupted by unofficial firmware. Once broken, Knox can't be restored. Something like this:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
This will happens with A10?
Thanks in advice!
If you root (or flash any modified file) any samsung device, knox will explode. In parallel, the device's quarantine will be canceled. There is only one way out of this, restore FULL Stock Firmware. Even this doesn't work on some devices.
Good Day!
On my old J7 Prime I did a full restore, but Knox still broken, like image above. If A10 is the same, I'll stay with stock.
Thank you.

This is because Knox uses a fuse chip (eFUSE). Since it is a hardware problem, it cannot be reset by any intervention other than replacing the Motherboard.
