Hi folks,
since a couple of days I'm on GT-i9505, Resurrection Remix 6.0.1 latest build, TWRP 3.0.2.0.
I have 2 problems:
1 - Playback issue: Videos stored in the phone and also in streaming (Insta, Youtube) are playbackin in slow motion and without sound most of the times. I had this issue also the last month as I was using Wanamlite 2.8 4.4.2 Rom. They appeared without reason (maybe beacuse I updated TWRP, dunno....). After flashing the latest modem and bootlooper (5.1) the issue disappeared from wanamlite but I didnt test it for long cause I flashed RR after...
Anyway I looked in the developer menu where they say to use awesomeplayer instead of nuplayer.... problem is, I can't find this voice in the developer menu!!! Under media I just have the USB something voice and nothing more. Is this because RR uses just NUplayer?
Someone has a solution for this? Is there any workaround?
2 - Randomly Shut off: it clears itself. Yesterday I was sending a video per whatsapp on 3g carrier. The phone crashed like 5 times.... a bit uploading and then ADIOS....
Again, is there a reason for this? Any ideas?

How about actually using the latest Resurrection Remix? The marshmallow ROM is not up-to-date anymore and won't be updated either.

I'm on RR 6.0.1_r72 v5.7.4. Which one is the latest you mean?

5.8 is Android 7. The one you're using is Android 6. It's not very wise to do a dirty under those circumstances.

First of all wipe two times everything except sdcard, and then flash cm 12.1, when the first boot complete use for 10 mins then goto recovery then wipe everything again two times, then flash VoLTE patch then rom then VoLTE patch then gapps...
Then everything should works perfectly, works for me on Quark OS.

Volte is working only on CM 14.1 OS if u want a guide for volte

Bro tried it my problems are as follows pls help
I have updated yu5510 to cm 14.1 its a sucess though Notice 2 major problems
1). Jio Volte sometimes starts( after resetting 4G) in sim 1 but at times only data works ( using airplane mode don't help) after rebooting 2-3 time it works sometimes phone call don't work, sometimes both
2). Can't access microsd card, ( root access not available( tried going to developer option and enabling root doesn't help?) presently using esfile explorer

Did you installed a cm13 based rom before installing LineageOS 14.1 or did you installed it directly coming from cos 12.1? Please give some more details about your device, the rom versions and detailed steps of installation, maybe with links.
It sounds like the missing of drivers which is known if you don't follow install instructions.

Hey, I am here for almost the same thing, went from cos to nuclear before lineage and booted in between but I still don't have a fingerprint scanner.

I might check that late but it's not that important for me, will do it before moving to LOS15 probably.
To original poster of thread, I do have auto rotate but no fingerprint.

I had done but in cm 13 there was no option for finger print and auto rotate was also not working but then I installed the lineage os 14.1 and in that also the same happend now what shoupd I do???

Yep, with Oreo doesn't work (Tryed on LineageOS 15.1 A5 2017).

I did but its even worse...or i didnt downloaded the right app or i dont kno to make the settings. It 's lagging..when i move the phone and it's very dark...the exposure ...comparative to the stock camera.

Hey, are you on LOS 15.1 Unofficial? I tried the ROM around 2 weeks ago. I cant make any calls as the dialer freezes, requiring a reboot. Also randomly the system UI restarts. How is your experience with the ROM? Thank you.

It works really good for me, i have installed the full gapps 8.1 zip from the official site. I don't use it bcs bluetooth doesn't work and I have to use it to connect my phone with my car.

I flashed both mindthegapps and Gapps pico...but I had reboot and unable to call issues. So does it mean I have to flash full Gapps? Did u have any call issues, freezing or any major or minor bugs apart from BT?

I don't have VoLTE in my country so I can't test it. And the only bug I noticed is that the fingerprint reader not working (button work and swipe right to recently also but fingerprint not)

In India, I used Jio SIM and it works sometime perfectly and sometime it just show incoming calls but when you picked up call the call gets cancelled, and you cannot used Volte for outgoing calls normal calls can be made and jio4g app from playstore doesnt work because it recognize your phone as volte enabled

you installed via twrp p-lag-fix.zip? I installed it after aex 5.7 and now I have somehow shown that the version of DP3 is installed

Can't you just delete it with the TWRP built-in file manager? That's what I would have done.
