Since note 5 is out I was wondering if there are any ports for our n9005. I've searched xda and failed to find any. I request the great devs here to start working on a note 5 port for n9005. And if there are already some ports, please update my knowledge and post links here.

Really ?? Note 5 firmware is based on 5.1.1, Samsung hasn't even updated note 3 to 5.1.1, so how is this possible without a base and kernel sources to make or port 5.1.1 touch wiz rom t
?? This whole task looks impossible to me.
Maybe he's using 5.0.2 base and porting apps and launcher or maybe not. @darkera13 is this true ?

I don't know he said he works on it so its just a matter of time. 5.1.1 won't release officially on note 3 ( TW based )
You don't have to wait for note 5 . All these developers porting s6 Edge can port newest 5.1.1 . For example Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925I) has 5.1.1 for at least 4 regions .

I've also looked for s6 ports but they go as far as 5.0.2 till now. And a note to note port will be more compatible and also we'll be able to enjoy the latest note features

It's still 64bit to 32bit. I'm afraid it will not run that smooth. Haven't found a s6 port yet that runs smooth on my note 3 (i flashed them all). Note 4 ports are better in my opinion. T-mobile has released 5.1.1 for the note 4. So i hope someone will port that.

you've to search better.... try aurora S6 port..... runs VERY SMOOTH!

I respectfully disagree with both of you . Aurora 6 was giving me some trouble ( for example try shutting down . It comes wright back up , snote does not work , I could not remap the buttons , menu button was driving me crazy and couple other things I can't recall now ) I did full wipe and all but still had problems . I am running dark lord v3 and it is smooth as butter on olive oil . :good:

I'm now trying the diamond rom and the lag is minimal, but like all s6 ports there's a delay when opening an app. Even in the settings menu it sometimes takes a second to open (for example) the battery stats.
The best note 4 port so far is Darklored v2.2....AURORA v6 doesn't come close. The s6 ports have this weird auto dim even when the brightness level not set at auto. Please lots of lags when opening apps plus the battery Drain tho Is something else

Noble rom s7 edge port v3 with ramkernel mm v4 is good and very stable in my opinion i am running daily driver with batman injustice theme.
So fas its stable only fingerprint dosent work there is workaround to make it work but who cares.
I got 2000$ s7 edge batman injustice edition phone features with this rom.

Yes it works with datafix and kernel for your model.
I have n910t and it works i believe Canadian and n910t required similar files.

I recommend you KURAMA v3 by Kazica...stock kernel and not ported ROM...my advice for you is try to stay away from ported ROMS!!

My advice is try red dragon note 7 port.
Best tom I've had on the note 4 and the nougart UI gives it a fresh feel.

Which rom is better A5UX , Extreme UX S8, or Skiesrom UX Note7 ?? I dont have enough bandwich to try it all, I need rom with fewer bugs and lag free.

I haven't tried A5UX, but ExtremeUX is bad (FULL of bugs) and I wouldn't reccomend using Skies, but it works really well.

A5UX is the best ROM in terms of performance and battery and of course s8 experience
Install Original ROM and you are bug free. I test nearly all custom rom in this forum but i don't find one what is good for daily use. bugs, bugs, bugs....sorry.

That's not true at all. There are plenty of fully working ROMs nowadays like AOSPExtended, Tesla, RR, Lineage, Xperience, Slim, Validus, etc. and fully working unreleased ROMs too that by your comments, I'm sure you don't even know.

Krako is the only that has r3 kernel all the others have r2
I did not like one of the three rums. The best cast is A5UX v8.1 . 7.1.1 the worst android
the best is RR oreo which didnt released yet for j5
i hope someone do it better than developing same port rom for same j5 with same kernel

Best rom is krako v2, the most optimised and fastest with good battery rom. And if u are on j500f the sim fix will be uploaded tomorrow.
i tested krako and shivas Rom, I can tell that they're both very good, but krako is on v2 and has a exclusive version of leviathan kernel, so IN MY OPINION, it's better. but I'm using shivas Rom because krako does not have data on my j500m.

On v1 data was working but on v2 were missing some libs for ril (becuz it was made especially for j500fn so thats why) that are very important for j500f and j500m so this is why there was that bug.
But now is fixed because of that fix.

I have fortuna3g gp and I am using RR NOUGAT but the rom is very boring and I really like the TW ROMS but the stock lollipop 5.0.2 is too old ..... Can someone tell me which is the best TW rom for grandprime ( I mean the most bugless one with the best performance ) and if I didnt find I will use the stock again .... Thanks in advance
TWMM has great performance but there are some bugs. TW LP (5.1.1) is the best overall its bugless and fully stable it was ported from J5. There are 2 TW Nougat roms but their both unstable and not suitable for daily use.
