Hey guys. Just spent like 3 hrs troubleshooting this and finally figured it out.
I haven't changed my live wallpaper for like 5 days until today. When i did it would freeze and display "unfortunatly livewallpaper picker has stopped."
I uninstalled all my mods and apps starting with the newest and working back. Recopied fresh libs and odexes.
It wasnt until I turned off the mwmanager module in exposed thay live wallpaper picker worked again.
I have been able to 100% pinpoint mwmanager as the cause.
I have reached out to Blake the dev of mwmanager who is great at responding and fixing things right up.
So. Before you fire up odin uninstall mwmanaher if you want to change your live wallpaper.
Cheers!
"Theme modes unavailable because a Substratum them is currently applied."
I had Substratum installed, played with it a bit, then decided to just go back to using PA's colour engine. Got this error in Settings - Display, even though I had disabled all overlays etc. Even uninstalled all themes and the Substratum engine itself. Rebooted multiple times.
How can I go back to using PA's colour engine now?
Was able to solve this one myself, but will leave the topic here in case someone else runs into the same issue. I just needed to delete all references to the themes in /data/app and /data/data
I just just switched to dark theme and again This is my first oneplus so I'm still learning. my question is does the stock dialer not change to a dark mode when you switch to dark theme? It kinda bugs me that everything else is dark theme ie launcher, messages, system yet my dialer is still super bright. Is this the way it's supposed to be?
Mine dialer is dark. Did you try a reboot?
I did, then I ended up clearing cache and data. No luck! Tried reverting to light theme and colorful theme and retried dark theme again. I did reboot in between switching themes and my dialer is still the same
It bothered me enough to actually factory reset the phone ...I didn't have anything of importance since I just got it this phone. First thing I did after setting it up was go directly to using the dark theme. Works now :good:
I have loved the Material Black theme for awhile now. Unfortunately Samsung has broken it piece by piece.
First was the email update. Once updated it went back to being white. I tried reapplying the theme but it does not work. Then I tried other themes and still cannot get it to work.
Then came the PIE update, blah. Night mode seems to be the only thing I can use to make it somewhat close to what it used to be with the Material Black theme.
Can anyone recommend a theme from the store that will do what Material Black used to do?

The theme creator just needs the update the theme for the new changes. I'm using Oreo Black for now.
Try this one, updated to Pie -
http://apps.samsung.com/theme/ProductDetail.as?appId=minuhome.Modern_Black
Opens in Galaxy Themes.
Recently got the OTA update to upgrade from android 9 to 10.
I was glad to notice that it comes with miui theme manager and decided to change the default theme to available ones in theme market.
However, no matter what theme I select and apply, it automatically resets to default theme, wallpaper and lock-screen.
I did a factory reset, changed region from India to taiwan, us, uk, etc but they did not fix the issue.
Did anyone get this issue? Found any workaround?

I have noticed the same, I saw in another forum that removing the optimizations miui is fixed but what has worked best for me is to leave the themes in dark mode, if you change it to light mode it is when the theme is removed the most

I tried all these. Turned off miui optimization in developer settings. Turned on Dark mode all the time. Did not even changed the theme.
But just tried to set an wallpaper from settings -> wallpaper -> Themes -> Wallpapers. Selected wallpaper remains good for some random time and then all back to default stock green wallpaper.
I did face the same issue

No problem. I flashed Android 9 a day ago and I'm very much happy with older Android than bugged miui11.
I have discovered when you select a theme, don't should change anything, then the theme will not restart and wallpaper keep, the bad thing is you can't put other wallpaper or font :/
When changing a theme are you able to get rid of the green accents? I'm not a fan of green and I'm curious if this is possible on this phone.
Many thanks!

Yes, there are some themes that change those tones, you just have to look for one and try it or you can install one shade, it is in the play store
Is there anyway you can attach a screenshot of how it changes it? I'm just really curious she many thanks for the response!

Shark space do that and if you disable/enable MiUi optimizations from developer settings.
