TripNMiUI 0.2.4 APP2SD FIX + Charge when Off + data2sd

Found a fix for the APP2SD problem. (Trip, hope you dont mind)
Used Z's FreeX10-beta1-hotfix4a and removed extra setting i didnt need.
(Credit to the Z)
Once i apllied this fix i was able to install and play angry bird

Could you make a test for me? Just open Skype, log in, log out, and close it. Does the sdcard unmounts and mount itself and then reboots the xperia?

Looks like Skype is still an issue.
Skype still reboots.

It's odd, I don't know why it unmounts and remounts the sd card...

I am not sure sinds i have installed both patch and fix at same time...
It is a bit anoying that backlight don't change,it is not big deal...Without your fix and patch we couldn't install many apps and couldn't charge with x10 off... so i am very glad you made this for us...thanx again

No problem, I will check which one causes it tonight and try to fix.

I think i found a fix to your skype issue, will reflash and test again. hopefully i will have a fix for you soon
are you using a default build.prop?

Yep, I'm using the default one of MIUI 0.2.4. What have you found?

Hey i just doubled checked the original rom, Auto brightness never worked.
When idle, phone dims then backlight turns off.
Can you confirm this?

Auto backlight did work...i know because i drive a lot and i am using this option... thanx in advance

What data2sd does exactly?

Your data is mounted and runs on your SD card.
it stores it to /mnt/sdcard/xrecovery/data.img

Basically i have modded it to work with TripNMiUi
Technically it runs faster.
After install, it will take about take a bit of time setup. First time i installed it i had to crash server agian to get signal.
But once everything has settled it runs amazingly fast

I know it is not totally related to you, but do you know if there is anything you can do regarding the "SD Card Safe to remove" issue? Zdizihu fixed it in Beta 3, so probably you can por it. It will be awesome!

If someone ask me why I don't want that my work is used, it means that you don't know xda rules so here i report the #12 that explain the sharing policy for both rom and kernel.
Cyanoid kernel is for cyanoid rom only.

wifi tethering really works? impressive I don't think anyone's fixed that yet on ICS for this device or is there some other workaround that I don't know about? also wow I never seen a installer with a custom gui/touchscreen controls like this this is pretty cool. love the installation percentage meter too!
ok super brief testing theres a bug on first boot the back to home button won't work at all but restarting the phone fixes that.
and a continuous bug that seems to be on all custom roms I've tried whenever I use my Amaysim brand sim card on a custom rom it says the carrier is "Yes Optus" which is the owner of the network im on but they resell to Amaysim and so Amaysim's name should be coming up but since it isn't or for some other reason the APN fields are blank and trying to add to it, it won't save a APN so I can't get any mobile data at all. Phone calls and Texts will still work oddly.
But if I use this same sim card on my phone with stock gingerbread I can get data and it will say Amaysim as my carrier weird problem right?
If I use another simcard that's not Amaysim like Telstra (different operator) it works fine and mobile data will work.
Interesting rom I'll keep testing.

You must do a dlavik cache, for fix this home key problem, WiFi thering is working but u have to reinstall yhe thering app (system/app)

I always clear Dalvik cache before installing a new rom but still the home key wouldn't work but all I did was restart/reboot and that fixed it.
Very cool if I get that APN/carrier issue solved I'll try out the tethering.

You must follow the last part of the install video i show how to fix this, u can change ur carrier name in systemui settings, for apns when you chance somwthing press menu button and click save

I'll make a video for you tomorrow showing you what I mean.
I know how to save apns it's just after I click save it does nothing.
I don't think the carrier name is a problem I just think it's a symptom of something else being an issue. Yes there is a way to change the carrier name to whatever I want it to be but I doubt that'll allow me to start using mobile data.

Does that block you from using mobile data and are default apn settings showing up?
So since it's a Aosp setting any idea on how to fix it to enable data usage? seems weird how it's only occurring on some sims.

If by Aosp settings you mean Quick notifications panel settings for "change Carrier Label" yeah no that doesn't fix the APN issue.
Here I took a video for you It shows my Amaysim Sim card going in but Shows Yes Optus and no ability to save an APN or use Data.
and it shows I can use a vodaphone sim with mobile data and it has default apn already on it. no clue why one works and the other doesn't
anyway heres the video youtube should be cutting out the shaky-ness of it but if you catch it too soon you see it all shaky sorry about that.

Have u try using operator name? Or can u use an auto_config SMS? (This will depend by your operator) is this phone brand?

Some questions/issues regarding dualSIM feature

Hey folks,
i have some questions about the dualSIM feature, maybe you guys have an idea...
- is there a widget for switching on and off the SIM card(s)?
- is there an app like "Llama location profiles" that can handle dual SIM? I used Llama with the OPO and it worked like a charm, but apparently it won't work with the OPT (or in general with dualSIM?). I like to switch WiFi automatically on and off, depending on my location.
- Have anybody intellig3G (xposed) working with OPT? i used it as well with OPO, but with OPT it wont switch the networkmode
Oh one more, but not dualsim related:
is there an app to configure the notification slider on the side?

I haven't found anything on this. The slider does seem backwards but it's easy to get used to.

Dual Sim - Turn off Sim (Cyanogenmod 13)

Hi all,
Sorry if this has already been answered, but I couldn't spot an answer anywhere.
I'm running the latest CM13 rom, and I can't seem to switch sims on/off. I have both sims active, all the time, and I want to be able to turn off Sim 2 at the weekend, but I can't seem to spot the option. Can anyone help?

Unfortunately, there is no option for this !!!!!!!

Thats a little bit annoying. Every other dual sim handset has allowed me to do this, both so I can relax on a weekend, and save some battery!

Thank you for opening this thread. I'm really missing that option too. Also there is no working app for that available yet. In Lollipop they took the option to switch off radio by a schedule and now there is even no option to disable a sim-card anymore.

On stock cm12 this option is present...

On stock COS 12.1 and on cm12.1 is that option available. That's precisely why we miss that option in cm 13. And I really hope it will come back in COS 13.

I am also missing this feature (( Removing the sim card everytime you want to disable it is not a good solution. It should be possible to disable it on sim cards options.

According to the CyanogenMod forums, this feature was there, but removed..

If anyone has a forum account there, you could bump it - but I suspect unless one knows a CM developer, or product manager, personally, we aren't getting this back.

You can try this if you want. Set mobile data to the Sim you want to disable. Then go to dialer and dial *#*#4636#*#*. Then into phone information and from there turn of radio.

Hi guys!
My wife and I have the same model (p8 lite), but my wifes phone do weird things. For example it hides the keyboard during typeing and today happened first time, the menu buttons and the notification bar are disappeard. She restarted the phone and works fine agaain. What could cos the problem? I guess the facebook apps doing something wrong, because that is the main difference between my phone and my wifes phone. I don't use facebook. Please help me!

First off all it's cute that you and your wife have the same phone
second. she had a crash that's all. try cleaning her phone (remove apps -> put apps on sd and make more space available.) if that doesn't work try factory reset. also wich build are you on? (settings->about phone-> build number)

Yeah. The deal was irrefutable But I don't mind, my phone works well, I don't use s**tty apps.
Our buildnumber is:
ALE-21C432B183
I'll make a hard reset if it comes back. Her apps stored on the sd card, there is a lot of free space and only the most used apps are installed on her phone. So I've trusted in you guys to save it
