EDIT (18th of august): Huawei responded after a long time. They said they have a lot of people being dumb like me. They say you would need to change the mainboard, whicht would cost almost as much as the phone costs new. Sad, but thats life

Try booting long pressing volume up and power button and, if something happens, press factory reset.

And haky 86 was very helpfull! But sadly, huawei doesnt accept my phone (they allways send it back...)

Well, I got the same problem, gosh, is there any solution?
Shutdown your phone and then connect it to PC but just press the vol- button.. that should log you in fastboot mode

That fixed up my phone. Not in same state of hard brick, my phone would just hang on boot logo with no recovery and fastboot, not with blinking notification light.

I'm not worried about bricking my Eris, as I don't even use it anymore. So I'll attempt to flash this as soon as it's done downloading from that crappy, slow host.

if you want to test put it on your sd card in your phone then place the card back in your phone and boot it up by holding power and call, pretty easy from there
no you hold volume down and power when booting after putting the zip in the root of your sd card
hboot will show up white with green text
let it run, tell it to install, follow the steps done.

Needs to be in the root directory of your sdcard, i.e. /sdcard/ROMNAME.zip

it's alive again i just pressed home and off button when booting and the recovery started (a lot of times ), after that freezed(recovery clockworkmod), batery off, and reboot worked fine, i just had lucky

I don't have access to fastboot/hboot/ruu.
i had the same problem it kept looping but as soon as i put my sim in it kicked out don't know if that will help
ok so i got the loop again this is what i did to get it out i pulled out my sim put the battery in powered up and in to the loop it goes pulled the battery put my sim back in powered up and it comes out of the loop

Does anyone know how to restore the boot partion? I think that this time I achieved to brick my phone. I tried to (read: FAILED) to downgrade the latest 2.3.5 and now no matter what I do, all I get is "update failed messages." I can't get into recovery (CWM or the standard) since when I boot my phone to the pink screen, nothing happens; no partion shows up anywhere. BLAH!

It already is "semi-bricked", so it's a win-win situation whatever the result may be. It's just taking ages to download the needed rom file. blah x 2....

Well kind of yeah...I started to download the pro ROM that was mentioned there, but DL failed for 3 times after I gave up.

Trust me, I tried pretty much everything...went so far that now my phone seems to be totally dead, it doesn't even start when I try to turn it on. Time to get a new toy or something. You win some you lose some.

Can you boot into bootloader. Hold volume down button while turning phone on.

If you are talking about the MAGLDR then he has tried it, and you cannot install the default bootloader
I try to install a rom from the Sd card and it installs but it wont start because of that screen!

If you can see the bootloader then you should install the original WM ROM either via Active sync/USB or over the sd card, follow link post #1 and go to point 3.

A buzzing sound followed by that? Must have been a hardware failure, there really isn't any other explanation. Does the same behaviour (striped screen) happen when in the bootloader? Have you considered that your phone may not be turning on simply because you've run it out of battery?

no there are no stripped lines when its in bootloader and i have 2 different batteries i tried them both but still no positive results but right now my phone is fully bricked when i click the power button it wont even turn on

If it doesn't turn on nor bootloader I fear your phone has a major HW problem.
From your description it leads only to that conclusion.
I don't know where you live, as I'm currently in China and enough shops which can check the phone......I got also the touchscreen of my HD2 replaced.
Sorry no better idea how to get your HD2 back to life.

From reading the thread posts, it seems you are having a MOBO (motherboard/mainboard) failure. And HW=Hardware as in physical pieces of the device. You might wanna try buying a mobo from somewhere ( i get my stuff from ebay) and try replacing the mobo. A main board averages around 50 bucks. Or you could buy my HD2 from me lol

YOU WILL NOT SELL YOUR HD2
Hi, I don't know if you can help me, but I have an A6010, same in specs as a A6000
I have installed an custom rom on the device and asked me for
rom update. It started downloading the update, and after it finished the phone restarted. From that moment my phone is hard bricked. When I power it on, I feel a vibration but that's it.
If I plug it in my computer nothing, but if I hold Power+Vol. Up or Down, I think it goes in fastboot or something, but my computer for sure makes a sound that a device has been plugged in. But I don't see it anywhere. After messing a bit into windows, I can find just that device "Android" is plugged in and that's it.
I really want to repair this phone because if you install a custom rom on it it's a very good budget phone.
If this is not the right forum, tell me, but I didn't found any A6010 forum.
P.S.: I was using before the brick MIUI custom rom based on android 5.1.1
P.S. 2: The notification led turns on when I plug the phone in, and when it's fully charged it turns green from red.

Try power + volume up + down at same time tell if recovery is working or not
Press power+volume up+volume down at the same time for some time. It should boot into recovery.
If this happens, get any rom you like on sd card and flash via recovery.

Same state of the phone? Found out that backlight sometimes turns on, but no sign of something on the screen
Holding, as far as I remember, pressing Power+ vol up made a sound in windows "trrrrt" (that some kind of device has been plugged in) maybe it gone into bootloader or something.
I'm really sad, found out that even LOS 14.1 has been released for this device and it's stable.
