TouchWiz Launcher not restoring - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

I need help because I accidentally deleted the TouchWiz Launcher of my Samsung Galaxy A3 2015 rooted. But before I deleted it, I backed it up using Titanium Backup. Now, I cannot restore it, the Titanium Backup is in never ending restore of Touchwiz Home Mass Launcher. I tried to change the app processing mode from Auto, Direct to Interactive but didn't work. I also tried to manually restore it by unzipping the backup file made by the Titanium Backup app but I cannot copy the APK to /system. I tried to remount /system to RW but no luck, Root Browser says "Operation Failed" although the ES File Manager copies the APK, it copied only 128Bytes of the APK. Now I'm in a horrible situation, I want Touchwiz Launcher back because I don't want to use another launcher. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Somebody help!!!
Anyone who has Stock Touchwiz Launcher for Samsung Galaxy A3 2015 5.0.2 SM-A300F
Can someone extract their launcher; TouchWiz Home Mass Launcher

When you copied it, did you put it in /system/priv-app/ and gave it right permissions rw-r-r- (644)

Swipe restote

I used titanium backup to backup the new Swipe before removing it. I went to restore it and there is a checkbox next to the item, instead of the other logo. Basically the restore feature is grayed out for most items I backed up? I went to the directory the backup uses and there is a compressed file for swipe. If I open it, I see some data, but no apk file.
Question 1st is how do I find the apk to restore this?
Question 2 is why can't I restore all backed up files via titanium (paid version)? Scares me to think I was safe using this product.
Use astro and hit the search button. Type swype with no spaces and search. You might find the apk that way.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Well I just discovered something strange with most Apps backed up with titanium. If I click on a file that I backed up (say swipe from last update) and uninstalled via titanium, and I get a message that data was backed up, and but no apk present. Sure enough, if I click on the archived swipe file, I see a data file and folder and no apk. Why would titanium backup some files completely and partially with others?
Also, without doing a nand restore, which I really don't want to start from square one, how can I get the swipe apk from the last OTA? SwiftKey has been unreliable since their past two updates?
Thanks
Pull the APK from a stock rooted ROM's zip file.
TB usually won't backup /system apps because, y'know, they're in the non-writable system partition. Normally, they're still there, and normally, you don't mess with stuff in /system, nor should you copy stuff over from one ROM to another if it's a system app.

Help! No Browser!

I was (like an idiot) trying to edit the browser icon by using root explorer & APK Manager
When I went to implement what I had done in APK manager into root explorer I replaced my browser.apk app and aparently what I had done didnt work
I made a backup of Browser.apk and I even tar'd it but I cant figure out how to get the browser back - when I click install it says "installation was not complete"
Extract the backup then use root explore to copy backup to /system/app then set correct permission on
browser.apk rw-r--r--.... Reboot see if that helps..
That's exactly what I did except for the reboot, thanks for the suggestions (trying it right now)
It worked Thanks
Any idea on how to change some of the icons easily without getting a launcher? I want the icons like on the Droid Bionic

[Request] S Memo and Provider APK

I've already tried with several different versions from dumps but S Memo just keeps FCing after I deleted it with Titanium and can't restore it. I put it in /system/apps and reboot and then on load it has SMemo but it closes and the apks are deleted from the apps folder automatically.
Anyway, I need the SMemo.apk, SMemo.odex, SMemoProvider.apk, and SMemoProvider.odex from /system/apps if someone would be so kind to get that. Needs to be from the ATT version.

Siggey is right. Try to avoid system app restoring.
But, as a possible solution.. Set SELinux to Permissive and trying to restore your Titanium Backup again.
Just want to report that I managed to restore some of the system apps. After titanium stuck at restoring, force close it, go to es explorer navigate to root, system, apps, at root of folder there you will find the app you tried to restore in my example lggallery.apk. Create folder of the same name, change it's permissions to match other folders, move apk to folder, reboot.

It's one of the apps that is causing the issue. For me it's Google Drive. Restore some first and you'll soon weed out which ones you can and can't restore.

Is it possible to defreeze apps without booting the phone?

Hi,
due to the fact that I don't like the p8lite default launcher, I have installed nova launcher and after telling my phone to use the nova by default, my phone goes back to default huawei start every time I use my homebutton. I fixed this by freezing the huawei start launcher in link2sd app. And it works !
BUT today I have tested new launchers. I have installed a third launcher and then I did
a freeze for the nova app as well. I thought my phone will be using the third installed launcher
in the same way as I did before, but this was a big mistake.
My phone get stuck in the bootlogo and nothing happens! It doesn't know which louncher it should use.
Can I defreeze the app in adb, adb shell or in the twrp filemanager? Maybe I can fix this by simple do this defreeze.
Next Problem is:
I had deleted my twrp 3.0.2 sdcard backup after copying it to my pc. After recopy it on my sdcard, to the folder I thought where the backup was before -> /external_sd/twrp/backups/W3A7N12322971959/ the reinstall process in twrp 3.0.2 doesn't show filesystem contents
for internal or sdcard directories. I can use the filemanager in twrp advanced option to open and show internal and sdcard contents. I thought, if I reinstall my backup the missing launcher issue will be fixed. But I can't browse my storages.
A third try, by deinstalling the nova launcher in HUAWEI HiSuite Software and reinstall a nova launcher copy from my pc doesn't fix my problem.
Any ideas are welcome! Thanks

SOLVED TWRP Problem:
TWRP Backups has to be in the same folder like the twrp backup has written in the recovery.log file found in the backup folder -> last line!
In my case it was this folder -> /sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS/W8797396345/2016-08-24--05-25-58_Built.with.SuperRs.Kitchen/. After changing the folders to the correct names, my backup works like I want and done it many times ago.
No possibilities to defreeze apps without booting in android? Then I'll close this topic and the answer will be "NO".
Try to "reinstall" nova via copy-paste in twrp file manager (dont forget to set correct permissions). When its back and "alive", in settings, go to apps and there is a point called "standard-apps" or so, where you can set the default launcher.
