Hi. I've been wanting to root my phone for a long time now, and every single method I have tried has not worked. I need help. Bad.
I used https://download.chainfire.eu/778/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-kltetmo-kltetmofrp-smg900t3.zip. It's strange I find no supersu but anything the needs root is automatically granted without prompting me. Instructions can be found here https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/
Recovery is not SEANDROID enforcing.
Hello.
I have a SMG900T3 (Samsung Galaxy S5 from T-Mobile). I've tried Chainfire's md5 a couple times with ODIN 3.10.6, (the one that comes with the package). 2/3 times it's successful and ODIN says "PASS." Yet the phone reboots into recovery mode and says
"
RECOVERY BOOTING.....
RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
Set Warranty Bit : recovery
"
This is with and without Auto-reboot, and with and without Nand Erase All.
Please help. I'm praying.
Thanks for any time you give.
I don't know if I can root again my j5. Yesterday I installed a custom recovery (twrp) in j5 2015 (v 6.0.1 marshmallow) and root my device successfully. Then by mistake I untick oem unlock and restart my phone. Then I got a message saying " Custom binary locked by frp or fap don't remember exactly. I installed Samsung kies 3, enter download mode and flash new firmware successfully. Today I was about to install custom recovery again and when I went into download mode, I noticed something different. Warranty void 0x1 (2) I google it but in every forum, every post it showing that have in front know but in my phone its just saying "warranty void 0x1 (2)" anyway my question is if I can install again custom recovery and root without bricking my device because of this message. Please answer soon.

Yes just go ahead and never disable OEM unlock.
so i rooted my first android device about 6 hours ago went great. how ever i made a rookie mistake and turned off the oem unlock after I was finished now I'm stuck and fear i may have hard bricked my device, i used odin 3 with twrp 3.0.2 and installed the supersu even made backups using both twrp recovery and titanium backup. but when i rebooted my device im stuck in the boot loop with a red message stating custom binary blocked by frp lock. and recovery mode is not accessable, only option is download mode. ok so i tried to go back to the stock rom but i get custom binary(recover) blocked by frp lock. is there a solution here or did i prema brick my phone.
im not new to the modding process i have done a few other devices just never rooted a phone before today.
any ideas on what i should try next

ok so i was having an issue where i bricked my metropcs sm-g550t1 (galaxy on5) when i downloaded the stock rom for my phone i would get a sw mismatch D2 B1 error. the reason for this error is the update that came out in the beginning of 2017 changed the firmware version from PF1 to PL1. so if you are also having this problem when trying to unbrick your phone use the firmware for phone SM-G550T2 then use your twrp backup to unbrick but remember to turn the oem unlock on or you will brick your phone again
I tried everything for hours. Till I gave up
All I want is to be able to root this phone. I would get stuck at samsung logo after rooting and OS won't boot

Please help guys I tried everything I found in the internet. I flashed TWRP with download mode, then would remove the battery and boot to recovery, install the supersu zip and reboot, that was the tutorial I was following but didn't work.
Hello bro

Then flash the twrp recovery with odin . Then install flashable supersu
That's what was I did to root my J5 too and done successfuly
Best regards..

Hello all! I need some help with my Note 3 Sm n900p
I am in root (used win10 and kingo root for this) with absolute success.
Next, I followed this guide on Youtube: watch?v=4LyG5KW5jpQ
Upon flashing the TWRP .img file and rebooting I am stuck on the Galaxy Note 3 startup screen with the message "Set Warranty Bit: Kernel" above it. It wouldn't allow me to shut the phone down, but I was able to reboot into recovery mode and factory reset/wipe the data partition.
It still will not boot or do anything beyond that same splash screen. I removed the battery as the phone will not shut down.
I don't know much about flashing custom ROMs, I was attempting to install TWRP so that I could flash Lineage OS 15.1 without using ODIN, without using a computer. Please help. I can't get it to boot at all as it stands and I'm worried I've bricked it permanently
Usual is wrong TWRP flashed.
What did you use to flash this youtube TWRP ??
As you are posting in a forum not for your phone its 99% a file for a different model .
Suggest you post in the forum for your model .

Did you unlock the phone's bootloader? I believe Sprint phones come with locked bootloaders.
