I received an update for my TWN variant just now.
It makes a difference when you include some details.
What firmware are you on now?
What country are you in?
I have no pending OTA update and LG Bridge states my firmware is up-to-date.
I'm in the UK with V10e-TWN-XX (manually upgraded with SEA firmware through LGUP).
Do you get VoLTE working?
I updated to v10e. The VoLTE icon shows up but can't turn it on.

My VoLTE not working too.
Can't toggle it on and not found in the setting menu.

You need to roll back TWN rom from SEA rom for ota update. If not roll back to twn rom you won't get ota update for twn variant. This update include May security patch. VoLTE not working for me. May be bug.

Does your provider support VoLTE? Maybe it is only switchable when you have a active VoLTE connection?

My provider activated VoLTE for me. It still not working.
After rebooting, VoLTE toggle disappeared.

I was pleased with the b11, but the signal issues forced me to update to nougat. I used Australian version 1.2.0b04 full zip to update and no issues after that so far...

Based on the official information from the Australian support page, you should be fine going directly to latest version. Just make sure you use the full update zip file (2GB+) and not the incremental FOTA update (200-500MB).
Personally, I'd recommend updating via the German stream since that dev team appears to have a more active presence for our device. That would mean using the Nougat zip to get to 7.1.1 B01 (I think), then using the FOTA updates to get to B02 then B04.

I went straight from b11 to b04 nougat full zip. You should remember to unzip the file and put the update. zip to root of you phone or your external SD card. Then in settings page, go to updates...
Upgraded to B04 still not having very good signal ..what can I do ?

You aren't on Buzz/Friendi/One/XOX yeah?
No luck... I gets poor receptions and data connections drops on and off and this is happening to most of my colleagues and friends on other phones as well....
And I would prefer to stay in MM and nougat is really draining my battery... I guest it had to do with the poor reception signal and some user is complaining this as well in other countries... Probably a new patch come out to fix this issue

hey i now realize that my phone recover longer after signal lost like take 1-5 minutes sometimes
its show empty siganl bar and not sim with question mark
i've noticed when i use dual sim, both sim cards have terrible signal, when i disable one sim, the other sim has pretty good signal.
another thing that annoys me on the axon 7 is the fact that zte says it is a LTE CA-6 phone but on my network carrier aggregatiin does not work because the zte supports only 1800&2600mhz and not 800&2600mhz. all other phones do but the zte not. if i just had known this earlyer...
So I took a chance and went ahead and flashed my ATT S8+ To Tmobile firmware G955USQU1AQEF with stock odin and I can confirm it's working 100% Wi-Fi calling, Volte, Video calling. Once i booted up it also registered my sim and proceeded to update to Tmobile firmware G955USQU1AQGA and I gotta say only bloat was tmobile app and battery life improved by atleast 40%

Can confirm advanced messaging working. I have also noticed device running a lil warm on the right side or maybe is just my OCD for perfection can anyone on stock att confirm a lil warm on normal usage but completely cold while sleeping
I ran Tmobile firmware on my S7 edge the entire time I used it. It got updated faster and had a faster speed test.

Is your carrier tmobile? And maybe try going to the G955U1 firmware first with the modified odin and then go to the T-Mobile firmware with stock odin my friend did it that way

I haven't flashed any other carrier firmware on this device yet (AT&T). I have the gear watch. if anyone has one can u confirm it works with non ATT firmware? That's the only thing that's kept me from trying anything else.

I got a go phone sim for a few dollars and set it up. Didn't put any money on it. Then chatted with att help. They needed a little info from the phone. She pushed all the updates I was missing, including N and the latest security updates. I did this just a few days ago. I then swapped my sim back out for my cricket sim.

im in the US i mean when i go to LTE i see the update but not on wifi it just says checking and it never checks.

Hi. What do you things about this. Turn on airplane mode and then turn on wifi with vpn located in usa. Then phone is thinking that it's in usa. This doesn't work. But maybe it's good beginning. We have to do more(maybe change some registry)
