Hello,
I have a problem with my Axon 7 , it is not rendering red anymore. When I start the phone it is showing the colours correctly and just until the startup page with the collage is about to change to home page all the red is changed in muddy brown and stay like this. See attached pics. Does anyone encountered the same problem?

did you do a hard reset? Probably you could change the "color modes" over at screen settings, see if that changes. if that's not it look on developer options if there's an sRGB option and change it.
maybe downgrade to Marshmallow if you are in Nougat and then upgrade again? If you have an unlocked BL you could also download a full EDL image from the guys over 4PDA and flash it with MiFlash
Weirdest thing I heard about...
Your image seems to be broken so it's hard to tell what the issue is. But judging by the description do you have the Night Light setting enabled? Check first by going to
Settings -> Display -> Night Light (9th option down)
See if that's enabled or set to turn on at a certain time. This feature changes the color of your screen to an amber effect which might be what you're seeing? Sorry if this isn't related to your problem. You may want to re-upload your picture showing the issue.
I don't have night mode on my phone. It is a G version and now have the B04 on it. But the problems started with B02 so it is not the last update. I cannot attach pics but all the red colours are a muddy brown now.

Then do what I told you, it seems that downgrading to Marshmallow actually wipes everything.
I have done a hard reset and everything is just fine now.

EDIT TITLE: Not only chromatic abbrevation!
Hi. I did some 'shooting' today with my HD2 and saw the purple tint in ex green colors vs blue sky. You can also see the purple tint on grey surfaces too, aso..
_Some_ of the purple colors is simply not going to be fixed, because its something called chromatic abbreviation and thats an optic issue. But im also thinking its an software issue that HTC have not seen yet. Manual whitebalancing is often or always better than the auto-setting in HD2. And one other thing.. If your picture is underexposed, you have even more pink tinting.
As mentioned. If you try set the whitebalance yourself, you may get by the pink issue in almost every picture. 2 out of 10 pics is now 'normal' and i have minor/none editing in photoshop. Maybe every picture is good when picture are prop whitebalanced and not underexposed.
Excuse my english, im norwegian..
I also think some of the tweaks here are responsible for the pink tint. Earlier photos from before tweaking have no pink tint. Someone running a ''clean'' rom here to confirm? Ive only applied some tweaks from '[REF] *Leo Hints, Tips and Registry Tweaks* - Updated 14th May 2010.' and 'Boost performance tips (All ROMS) -NEW updates 11/2/10'.
Maybe turning camera tweaks back to default is going to fix this..?.. I have no time for hard-reset, so if anyone schedule a hard-reset and having the tint problem.. Please take before/after photos.
for what it's worth, I had the pink stain practically on every past rom that I used.
The current rom I use, based on 2.13 (and I just reinstall everything system related through sashimi, so it's actually the same config with different rom) doesn't show this problem, being the camera settings the same... and I'm not at all displeased
im getting awful purple/pink coulouring on my photo's too, stock virgin mobile rom ( piggyback off t-mobile) with few mods installed
it was broad daylight and its made the pic look awful is there a fix or not?
edit: pics look perfect on the phone but once uploaded to facebook they gain the tint :/
so theres no fixes for this?
here are some examples to try and get some feedback from someone.......anyone?
first 3 are the widescreen option and the last 4 are non-widescreen

Hey guys,
When I turned on my Nexus 7 the other day, I noticed what looked like a white fingerprint against the screen, like someone had pressed against it too hard (no one had, it was sitting perfectly safe), and I had never seen this kind of problem before, so I thought I'd come here. I have two pictures of it. They aren't the best, but you can see the problem in them. Any ideas on what it is, and how to fix it?

That looks like a fissure or an unprecisely-shaped grid of dead pixels. Do you get that upon boot?

It had been dead for some time, but once I recharged and booted it up, I noticed it. It hadn't been there before, and I haven't tried resetting the tablet.

That would appear to be an issue with the hardware then, unfortunately. I don't think a reset will do anything if you noticed it as soon as you booted since it appears before the OS even started. Has the size or shape changed at all since you first noticed it? Does *gently* bending the tablet in any direction affect its appearance?
So my galaxy s5 has been working great for the past month or so that I've owned it. I have rooted it and done some adjustments with the xposed installer, but I haven't flashed any custom roms yet or anything. So then today out of nowhere, this little stripe appears on my screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So that's annoying. I took a screenshot on my phone and then moved it to see if it was the actual screen or just the picture being displayed on it. However, the screenshot shows no black stripe when zoomed and moved around so that the would be screenshotted black stripe wouldn't be on top of the actual black stripe. Then I restarted my phone, still there. I booted into recovery mode to see if it still happened when not opening the actual normal use, it was still there. Then finally I tried pulling out the battery and putting it back in, still there. I'm a little frustrated and a bit scared that I've already voided my warranty by rooting it and disabling knox. Also, the line turns sort of white when against a dark background and goes away when the screen is off. It's not the worst obstruction in the world, but the phone is less than a month old, so obviously I want it to be perfect. Any help that can be offered is appreciated.
I'm on verizon if that makes any difference.
Edit: I haven't dropped it, exposed it to heat or magnets or anything of the sort
It's unfortunate that you didn't post a full size, full resolution image. We can't make out any fine detail in your reduced resolution image. It would also have been good to know if the band is invariant in size as you make screen adjustments or display primary colours on screen. Or if it shows up in downloaded photos?
We are of course seeking a pattern or otherwise trying to narrow down the potential causes. Since we don't have much to go on yet, we can only guess, it looks to be a hardware defect. But there isn't enough information to be certain.
It would still be useful to look for a pattern in whether the band varies at all with different colours and brightnesses on screen. You can also use the dialer code *#08# and display red only, blue only, white only, black only, etc screens to get a better sense of which pixels are apparently contributing to the band.
Also try backing up the phone (to save your user files or installed apps), then revert to 100% stock firmware temporarily, followed by a factory data reset. If the problem persists it is all but certain to be a hardware issue. Claim it under warranty then if you can.

I just got my Zuk Z1 and i am dissapointed with the screen. I find it yellowish ,whole screen ,not particulair places on the screen like the OPO.

With Cyanogenmod and live display option in screen menu, I achieved to get a almost perfect white color with this config:

Off course it was.
Seems all units, excepts first ones by what I saw in YouTube reviews, have this problem.
Probably they changed the screen manufacturer at some point.
But with this problem solved, I can agree this it's a great great phone, much better than Oneplus one I had before.
Lol, i have one of the first hundred zuks that where sold and my display is fine. But its interesting that they changed the display manufacture

Problem solved ! It was caused by installing a theme from LG from the theme installer. I was unable to get into Recovery mode also.
Now a bright white screen ,can save the settings in Live Display and Recovery mode working now.
I have hit the thanks butto,cheers

I am interesed what was that , i search on google and i find can be some notification or something like that , but nothing clear. Well , i am curios what is that drop , if my display has some problems, and how the i can make to appear again . Here a photo wich i found on google similar like my spot , but is was somehow above and was in facebook messenger

It's not a hardware problem if it appears on screenshot, so don't worry about that. Maybe it was a facebook related bug.
I've had this happen to me before. That blue thing is the little handlebar that appears when you highlight text. There's a bug where it'll appear in the corner of your screen for some reason.
It's a Messenger bug! Try to close it & it'll disappear ?
It disappears when you optimize your S7! I want to believe that it's a cute way Android is using to tell us that the device isn't 100% optimized. It kinda looks like a water droplet. Maybe meant to look like a sweat drop? I dunno. But optimizing or restarting the phone will make it go away
I have the same thing and I was not in Facebook at all when it popped up I was in snapchat and it just popped up when I hit the home button its only on the home screen and you can move it maybe a 1/8th inch and it will go back when you finger is no longer touching the screen I'm on 7.0 and its a at&t galaxy s7 not the edge the normal one
