twrp recovery dont work - Galaxy Tab 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.
i have a galaxy tab 4 10.1 sm-t533 with android 5.1.1 lollipop.
i want to flash a cm version of android 7.
when i flash the twrp recovery and i will to start it comes a message: set warranty bit: recovery. and the tab is frozen.
Is there a way to flash a working twrp or cwm recovery or is there a other way to flash the cm?

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) TouchWiz 4.4.2 to Cyanogenmod 11 problems

so i was running cyanogenmod 11 official nightly when i saw a leaked 4.4.2 touchwiz rom for my note 3 i went ahead and installed it to see what was different after i was done checking out the rom i decided i would go back to cyanogenmod 11 so i went to my pc and opened odin 3.0.9 and flashed philz clockworkmod recovery on my note 3 then i tried to reboot into recovery only to be greated by: "recovery booting..... recovery is not seandroid enforcing set warranty bit : recovery" and then it just bootlooped so i removed the battery and waited 10 seconds then i put it back in and it booted into system i tried going back into recovery but the same thing happend so i decided to install a different version of the recovery so i installed chenglu clockworkmod recovery this time it only sayed: "recovery booting..... set warranty bit : recovery" and then it booted into recovery i did a factory reset and then tried to flash the cyanogenmod 11 zip file but it sayed that the zip was for hltexx and my device is a hlte i know for a fact that this is not true and my device is the SM-N9005 hltexx but anyway it aborted the installation i tried to find a way to disable this model verification but to no avail now i'm stuck on touchwiz 4.4.2 and can't even downgrade to 4.3 can someone help me find a way out of this mess thank you in advance

You're currently stuck at 4.4.2 and the only custom recovery that seems to be working is this one. Give it a try.
I was in the same situation yesterday. Download the official Samsung KitKat, boot your phone into download mode and flash it via Odin again. After auto reboot you should be good. Then if you want you can flash the latest KitKat CWM and a few custom roms based on official Samsung KitKat. At this very moment, CM builds are not supported by the new bootloader. Don't flash them again.

So I should wait for future cyanogenmod builds or am I stuck forever on touchwiz?
I'm asking myself the same thing...crap I flashed that so fast , even if it works not too bad CM will always be best.

I think the CM guys will solve this boot loader problem finally. Just wait for a while. During this time you could search some simplistic custom rom based on Samsung stock one, which are also pretty good.

[Q] Can't install custom recovery - Note 3

I upgraded my Note 3 (N9005 LTE) to ofiicial kitkat 4.4.2 with Odin. I'm also rooted and everything working flawlessly, except I can't install neither TWRP, or CMW recovery, i tried both but geting bootloop with following messages:
Kernel is not seandroid enforcing
set warranty bit: kernel
And it just getting bootloop over and over. I can force download mode, and restart phone, and everything works great, except recovery.
I flashed recovery trough Odin, it's note first time I'm doing it, I followed instructions carefully, so doubt it was my error.
NOTE: After flashing CMW, after couple of bootlops,ODIN actually said PASS, still can't acess recovery, though...
Hope someone have a solution for this?
Thanks in forward
Make sure you are using the most recent recovery version:
[CWM] Kitkat compatible version by Chenglu
[TWRP] Kitkat compatible test version by the twrp maintainer
[TWRP] My (unofficial) kitkat compatible version
I am not getting bootloop but..
I do not have bootloop, but when I try to enter recovery mode the phone it says: Secure Fail Recovery. Then below the yellow triangle it says, System software not authorized by Verizon Wireless has not been found on your phone. Please turn off your phone and go to the nearest store for help. I was installing CWM for the Note 3. Anyone know how to fix this and install a custom recovery? I cannot enter recovery at all.

Custom Recovery

I'm about to buy a Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 T330NZ
For what I can see, I can not find any type of Custom Recovery, TWRP, or CWM..
Is there a custom recovery for this device.. Any?
if so please send me a link..

Troubles installing custom recovery on Note 4 910G

I have a Note 4 - 910G (India) currently running 5.0.1
I have managed to root the device. I can confirm that I have root access with an app like root checker. And yes, I've managed to trip Knox. At the custom boot screen, it shows Knox status as 0x1 (4).
My problem is that I can't install TWRP or any other custom recovery. I have followed the usual steps to install a custom recovery with flashify, TWRP installer and adb commands. Each time I try, the device reboots into odin mode (high speed) mode only. I then have to flash a custom recovery with Odin and the device reboots. However, even then.. if I try to boot to a bootloader, it still goes into the odin mode.
Is my device completely borked? Can I still install TWRP and then CM12.x on the device?
Any help/pointers would be appreciated.
I too have a note 4 sm-n910G. I think ur TWRP file is corrupted or you got the wrong file. It should be easy to get custom recovery. I rooted my Note 4 using CF auto root and it had CWM recovery which i tried to flash in Odin but it wasnt working. So i changed to TWRP 2.8.1.0 and it worked perfectly. Maybe try changing the TWRP file, or use a different one like CWM or philz recovery. Good luck...

TWRP thinks phone is Redmi Note 2 and wont allow me to install Custom Roms for G530H

I've flashed TWRP 2.8.4 into my recovery and I'm able to backup and restore my phone properly. What I can't do is, I cant install ROMS no matter what. TWRP detects my phone as HM2014813 (RedMi Note 2) and not as my Grand Prime G530H.
I did install CWM recovery and attempted to install the custom ROM, what happened was it installed but it would not boot up at all. The screen on boot would say "Kernel is not SEANDROID ENFORCING" then black, no booting, nothing. I attempted to revert to my backup, but the installation seemed to have destroyed my stock ROM and wouldn't let my phone boot up properly, making me have to download the stock ROM and flashing it back in through ODIN to get the phone working again.
My phone details are as follows.
XCU Baseband
Not Rooted
SM-G530H
TWRP 2.8.4.0 Galaxy Grand Prime - a .tar.md5 file
