Motorola Firmware for xt1625 (>= MPJ24.139-64)

Any idea where I can download firmware files for the xt1625 with build #MPJ24.139-64 or newer? I flashed my phone with the firmware from xt1624 thinking it would work, but now it can't get past recovery. I'm able to flash oem.img for MPJ24.139-48, but when I attempt to flash gpt.bin, I get the following error:

And where can I find this? I have looked in all of the places it is supposed to be but have had no luck locating it. Doesn't seem to be available at this time.

I don't have -49. My phone has -48. I would like to find a copy of the original firmware so I can return to stock if necessary.

The -49 version is for the XT1635 not the XT1625. I have no idea if it will work with the XT1625, but experience has taught me that you should never flash any version except the one intended for your specific model. These forums are filled with people who didn't follow that simple rule and they are now bricked.

The link I posted is for the XT1625 and the XT1644 firmware.
Here is a link to flashing the firmware from Fastboot. Be sure you have the correct firmware before you flash. Read the instructions very carefully and be sure you understand BEFORE flashing. If you still have questions, ASK!

flashed it but after it's been flashed still stuck in recovery .. tried also another old version like 48 and 49 but they failed during flashing .. may be cause it cant downgraded but the version u gave me was able to flash 64 65 but after finishing no good news

Stop trying to flash older versions of the ROM. It won't work for the reason you stated. When you flashed the -64 ROM did you get any errors at all? When you reboot, do you get the warning about your phone being unlocked? You should if everything flashed correctly. Also, you are certain you had the XT1625 with 139-64? Did you flash directly from fastboot entering the commands one at a time? Or did you use Flashstock.bat? I always do the commands individually so I can verify each one is successful. It takes more time and you need to be more careful but I prefer that method.
When you say you are stuck in recovery, do you mean the bootloader or stock recovery? I am assuming you mean the bootloader since you were able to flash the ROM using Fastboot. When you are in the bootloader, press the volume control until START is displayed next to the power button. Then press the power button. it should boot the phone. If it doesn't then I have no idea what to suggest.

1st of all thanks for help
no errors happened due to flashing the room
all commands finished successfully
tried to flash one commend after one and also flashed once using rsd
the result of twice was the same
after finished successfully it make a reboot but its open on the stock recovery , and what i do after it opened i press on reboot sys boot loader to get the start icon to press put its start again on the recovery .. so i don't know what to do .. if u kindly know how to survive please heeeelp

I'm sorry but I am out of suggestions. I didn't have any problem flashing this firmware. It must be something that happened when you first attempted to update. You might try to flash TWRP and see if you can flash a custom ROM. Other than that I am out of ideas.

From recovery try wiping data and cache then do reboot. May help

What did you do to fix it? Just wipe data and cache? There may be others who have the same problem and could use advice on how to get back to a working phone.

That message is standard for all HTC after bootloader unlock and installation of a custom recovery. NOthing to worry about. Did you flash the right recovery image, as in one that was specifically developed for this device?

To flash this on S-On, you must have your device Relocked (on S-Off you don't need to relock) and then in fastboot mode:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip rom.zip
fastboot flash zip rom.zip
fastboot reboot
Please be aware that you'll lose all data doing this.
If you're S-On you can only flash the zip that is for you CarrierID (CID). With superCID or modified CID value through S-OFF you can try to flash other regions RUUs.

Which version of your M9+?
cid:htc__038 --> Indian version ,you should download *hTC_Asia_WWE_1.08 .707.4* ...
In download mode, check your version first.
> fastboot getvar all
If you are s-off,you could flash the ROM.zip.
But if you are S-ON, your version should not be newer than 1.08.707.* .

Relocked your bootloader. Put the ROM.zip on the same fastboot/ADB directory in your local PC. Connect your device to PC by usb cable and execute these command to flash it.

Damn if i knew earlier i wouldn't have to do s off but i guess nougat will be easy to update since i have soff

HI there,finally someone wrote something about the Indian version .I own an HTC One m9plus prime camera edition phone which is the Indian version of m9+.I want to root it but haven't been sure of it since I haven't been able to find the stock ROM for if.it's still on lollipop.and there are some bloatware I want to remove .if I could just find I right and safe way to root it. And also probably upgrade to atleast marshmallow.

Bootloop after trying to root M9+

my M9+ is stuck in a bootloop after i followed this guide to root the device.
I succesfully flashed the "recovery-twrp-2.8.7.0-htc_m9pw-english.img" . After i installed the "BETA-SuperSU-v2.48.zip" from recovery, my phone is stuck in bootloop. Phone model is htc_hiau_ml_tuhl XC S-ON, version 2.30.707.1. Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. I managed to make my htc one m9+ working again. Installing the newest SuperSU (2.82) in via TWRP seems to work without errors, but when i power on and check root, it says there is no root and there is nor SuperSU App.
My recovery: recovery-twrp-2.8.7.0-htc_m9pw-english

Since you have s-offed,I would recommend you settle the software and firmware on the same version.
About root issue, flash back stock boot image and re-root it.

Thanks for the hint, didn't think of that. Do you know where i can get a RUU or backup for the 2.30.707.1 version?

htc_hiau_ml_tuhl XC. What varian is it? Asia WWE? Asia TW? Asia HK? Europe? Please answer. I might find proper RUU for you in case you want to back to official ROM

Many thanks for providing the download link. However, putting it on a micro sd (fat32) and renaming it to 0PK7IMG.zip didn't work. it just skips installation with "EXIT".
Which recovery do i need for flashing this?
Do i need S-OFF to flash?
Is relocking the bootloader required?
I am currently using CleanSlate Asia ver. with Android 5 with root since it is the only rom that can be flashed over TWRP.

Yes, I think so. You need to relock bootloader. S-On is just fine, just have to relock.

The zip file of the rom has to be by 3 orders in fastboot:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
Now if you can do the zip with that order i'll be happy.
if you cant then let me do it and explain to me how to convert to
three images of boot.img recovery.img and system.img. it has to be this way inside the zip file.

Was having the same issue with fastboot methode. Then I used SD card method, after having reinstall stock recovery and relock the bootloader (S-On). Now I live with stock ROM.

Bootloop Sollution : from ext SD via TWRP I install SU v 2.78 (befor was installed v2.48 = bootloop)
After that the phone start normally ))
Through the Play Market updated the #SU to 2.82, everything is fine

Searching for RUU 1.64.400.3

You need a different rru, this one isnt for you.
You can check which one you need with the following code in cmd> fastboot getvar all
Remember not to share your imei and other important info

If your firmware is 1.64.400.x, just rename file RUU to 2PZFIMG.zip and copy to SD Card. Turn off the phone and press Volume Down and Power button at the same time. Now your phone will load the RUU file, press Volume up to flash. This process will wipe out all your data
