Threads stating "all variants" - LG V20 Questions & Answers

I'm curious why some thread titles state they're for all variants when clearly they are not, nor can they be.
Some even state in the OP that they're only for specific variants.
I don't see similar misleading thread titles in other forums I use.

GS III CM9 discussion

Not sure whether I'm about to step into something here, but haven't really seen any word/discussion on CM9 for any of the US Variants.
As far as I can tell from this: http://www.androidauthority.com/cyanogenmod-9-arrives-galaxy-s3-models-except-verizon-one-100841/
... there are Nightlies for three of the major carriers, including the one I'm on (Sprint). Anyone running these and is there some active thread I'm missing where people are discussing ROM progress/bugs/etc?

Ah, actually I see now that there's a new subforum in development called "Original Development" and the Sprint discussion is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28596789#post28596789
Thanks!

General Thread

Hey guys. I thought that we could have a general thread here where we talk about everything between heaven and earth (without breaking the rules of course), make introductions, bash certain companies, etc. A thread of this type made a huge success over at the GS3 section so I thought we could have one here. This could also be seen as an attempt to de-clutter the General section. If you don't agree, then this thread can be locked and forgotten.
Remember to be civil; we're all part of the same community! :highfive:

Developer Edition Note 4 Device

I know this has already been posted, just like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-mobile have their own section and in each section there is the Original Development, Apps and Themes ect.....
MODS, please create a device
Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Developer Edition
this has been mentioned before there isnt enough people with device to warrant a sub forum so it is staying together
Please search before posting. There are several threads on this already
And it makes no sense as there can be no development for the non-dev edition. Just label the threads properly
Just like a US Cellular thread, or any other smaller quantity, same hardware device

Thanks

[Request/Suggestion] Forum Rename

I'd like to propose the forum for this device be renamed from simply "Moto G" to "Moto G 2013", based on the fact that we have had various instances of users coming to threads on this forum asking about newer versions of this device here and not on their respective forums. The objective of doing this is mainly to reduce confusion from the users' behalf. Is this doable?
I also apologize in advance if I posted this in the wrong section.
Sounds good!
Sounds appropriate.
Sounds great.
I agree
Ya! I am with you.
