Show newly installed emoji on stock Samsung Keyboard? - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Greetings fellow Note 3 users* I have a small inquiry regarding the stock samsung keyboard.
Using Emoji Switcher from the Play Store/xda thread, I was able to swap those ugly as hell samsung emojis with EmojiOne instead. Not only does it replace emojis, but it also adds new ones (racially diverse emojis, burroto, extra smilies etc).
The kicker here is that the stock samsung keyboard does not show those extra emojis, just the ones that shipped with the phone (they are replaced with EmojiOne though). Using gboard and other 3rd party keyboards gave me access to those new emojis, but I always come back to the samsung keyboard due it's speed and comfort xD
Is there anyway I can show the extra emojis on the samsung keyboard along the already replaced ones??
Thanks in advance!!!!!*

[Q] ROMs with DPI switching?

Hey there,
I'm just coming to the note 3 from the S3. I hope I made a good choice
I've always used AOSP ROMs with the ability to change dpi, else my device just feels clunky. Having more information on screen, akin to a PC, really boosts productivity.
Which ROMS (either AOSP or TW) support DPI switching? What's best from your experience?
With Note 3 however, TW or at least Samsung Keyboard seems to be necessary for just one reason - one-handed keyboard mode. Otherwise it seems AOSP can do everything just as well. I don't need any of the pen stuff personally, smart stay, etc. Is there a way to get a one-handed keyboard on AOSP?
Otherwise the TW apps are just slow and bulky IMO (for example messaging can't handle 10k sms without lag)
The S3 with paranoidandroid worked very well to force the browser to think its a 600p form-factor tablet and show tabs at the top of the window. SMS convos would show 10 messages in one window and same goes for email or contacts. This was super efficient and worked well! Why isn't this the norm?
you have many rom with multi dpi
just look in title of the thread

No idea if the S4 keyboard is compatible with the S5. You could make a backup, then try it and find out. A better idea, I'd think would be to install one of the existing dark S5 keyboards instead. The usual description for black apps, particularly when they have back backgrounds in inverted apps. You can also try searching for themed keyboards or mods.

[Q] How can I change the Whatsapp Plus emoji button?

Hi guys,
Im using a SM-G900F (european SGS5) with cyanogenmod 11 (2014-11-14 nightly) and i have a problem with the emoji's used specifically in WhatsApp Plus.
So the original whatsapp uses the iOS emoji's, which are the ones i want. Tho, after 'upgrading' to whatsapp plus, the app will only use the, i believe, android-style emoji's.
i have already tried emoji switcher apps and i have manually replaced the NotoColorEmoji font and 'disabled' other emoji fonts.
this has now resulted in the texting app and keyboard using the iOS-style emojis, so i believe the system is patched right.
but whatsapp plus still wont display the right emoji's; it will still only show the android emojis. pressing the emoji button next to the text bar brings up the wrong emoji keyboard.
i can however, using the standard cyanogenmod keyboard, hold the 'next line' button and select the emoji keyboard from there, which displays the right emoji keyboard.
but whenever i type any of them, they are typed the wrong style in the text bar, and the whole app displays em in the wrong way anyways.
does anybody know how i can fix this?

I am not entirely sure, but I think a.) there is an option in Whatsapp+ to change the emoji, look under Misc options, and b.) you can try a full reinstall of whatsapp+.

Is Omnirom good for tablets?

Hello.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note (GT-N8000). It has the original Android 4.1 and I want to upgrade it.
I am not sure if I should install Omnirom. So I want to know if it will be worth. I prefer roms that are lightweight, easy to use and a little bloated.
I tried Cyanogenmod and I hated it, because it is only for cellphones and for that reason it is poor for tablets.
Compared to the standard tablet GUI, CM has an unneeded upper bar. Everything could fit on the bottom bar instead of using two bars. The touch keyboard has fewer options and the number keys are not independent. Furthermore, my language needs diacritics. The menu where apps are listed cannot be managed easily. The standard GUI lets me uninstall apps, sort apps, move apps and create folders.
