Notifications on AOD without lock screen. - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

Hi guys!
On mine S8 I have notifications on my AOD, and I have the lockscreen option "pull". The thing is that I dont have to drag my finger over the screen after exiting the AOD. But my girlfriend also now bought the S8, and when I put in the exakt same settings she has to drag the finger over the screen after exiting the AOD. If I set the lockscreen option to "none" the notifications wont show up.
Do you have any idea why she can't have it like I do?

I'll just answer this myself, found the option for this. It's in settings>display>navigation settings and check that the option to unlock the screen by holding the home screen.

S6 Edge Power Saving Mode Icon

Is there ANY way to get the Power Saving Mode icon out of my notifications bar and off the lock screen?! While still in still being engaged of course.
I got it off my lock screen by disabling all lock screen notifications, only disabling 'setting notifications' in the notification menu does not do it. I did not manage to get off the notifications bar yet.

I wish Samsung would fix this! It's annoying.

Shortcuts from lock screen gone.

When it started, it had changed the lock image and my shortcuts have missing from lock screen.. I have the option turned on settings but no icons on the lock screen. Has this happen to anyone ?

No Lock Screen Notifications

Sprint S8 variant here:
I'm unable to get notifications of any kind on my lock screen. All notification settings are on for all apps and have it set to display all details of notifications. Also did a full reset on my phone and still no notifications. The edge lighting also doesn't work when the screen is off. I've also tried the Screen Always On option and still no notifications other than the LED. #Annoyed
My notifications don't display on my lock screen either with my S8. Getting annoyed too! Paid good money for this phone and one of several features I consider important to have on my phone.

What kind of unlocking method did you choose?
I had the same issue because i have choosen to unlock the phone without any security and in this case there are no notifications on the lock screen.
Ok so I finally figured it out...i had no security for a lock screen and wasn't receiving the notifications on AOD. I dont like having any security. So I changed my security to Swipe and then went to
-Settings
-Display
-Navigation Bar
-turn on Unlock with Home Button
Now youll get your notification on AOD without have any security. You just have to long press the home button to get to home screen from AOD.

No locks screen shortcuts

i used to have lock screen shortcuts like the camera and phone apps on the bottom left and right on the lock screen but for some reason they are gone. checking the lock screen tab in settings i dont see "shortcuts" anywhere. i tried adding a user account and it had the shortcuts but my own owner account still doesnt. any thoughts?
In my experience lock screen shortcuts are hidden when you don't have a sim card.

Notice Transparency/Opacity for S10+ in Nova

UPDATE: I found it! It's under Settings, Lock Screen, press Notifications, and the Transparency slider is under there!
My notifications on the lock screen are back to their not so transparent look I had previously on my S8+ but was able to make more transparent. How do I do this with the S10+ and Nova? I've looked in the notifications setting for the S10+ and in Nova, the Lock Screen Settings, etc but I do not see a setting that actually fixes them so I can make them more clear and not so white.
