My phone has been bricked since January after getting it for Christmas. I started using my old phone again as I gave up trying to fix the new one. Recently someone uploaded firmware for CUN-L01C577B125 online but my phone needs CUN-L01C577B122a. Can anyone help? I tried to create my own Update.APP file using Linux and the stock firmware but I just couldn't figure out how to get my specific firmware. Any help would be massively appreciated. I tried to install the CUN-L01C577B125 firmware but it gave me an error saying something about the version not in the Verlist. Which is why I am requesting this specific version.

I just recently upgraded my phone to the new zenfone AR through verizon. Previously i had a rooted HTC one m9 which gave me some trouble with rooting but some people on here ended up helping me get it very easily therefore i was wondering if anyone has found a way to gain root access to the verizon modle of the zenfone AR. i have gotten it into recovery mode but it wont let me flash anything from there. any information that could help would be greatly appricated. thanks in advance

There is bootloader unlock app on asus oficial site (but search for model ZS571KL) but do not know anything about root.
You try and tell us
Unfortantly I have tried the bootloader unlock tool on the Asus website, but because I have the zenfone AR through Verizon it does not work. Any ideas on how I may go about making that work on the Verizon version? Also I have not found a firmware for the Verizon one anywhere I've tried extracting it from my phone when I got the update to no avail. If anyone has any ideas on how to get any of these things working it would be greatly appreciated because then I can start working on a twrp for it as well.
I think you're out of luck, mate.
Root is easy here with the non-Verizon using Magisk to patch the boot image. But, bootloader.
I'll try and see if I can find that Verizon update online.
Here's a wild idea but have you tried intercepting the update instead of extracting it (judging how it would probably be put into /data). i.e. MitM.
It'll be nice to have the Verizon users free to get some development on this phone.
Good luck. Cheers.

maybe you need update to newer firmware
look here, https://www.asus.com/zentalk/thread-186959-1-1.html
I actually had not thought of doing a mitm to intercept it next time an update comes out I can try that. I'm going to try the software assistant one later today when I get home and see if I can for an update or something. Thank you guys very much for the ideas I'll let you know if I get anything.
Hi all.
I used to be on the ball years ago, but as life goes on the learning curve
diminishes, and I find myself stumped as to what file I should use.
I have a Samsung S8 G950F, with Android 9.0. And I am running
this firmware G950FXXS6DSK8 ....
Would someone please be able to point me to the correct combination
file I should use, as I keep coming back with multiple errors, and none of the
firmware or combination files I have downloded will install on this phone.
Again, this ( G950FXXS6DSK8 ) is the current firmware...
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Paul...

couple questions. does the phone boot? is the SK8 firmware what originally came with the phone? What country do you live in? what carrier are you on?
I have been on the hunt and sure many others have as well been trying to find the firmware flash files for AT&T's latest update to the SM-G950U S8 Variant if you know where i could get these files or have it on hand it would be greatly appreciated so i can get my phone flashed back to its original state before it had gone through this crashed update that has made my phone bootloop and not accept anything but the latest updated firmware file.
The firmware file version i am looking for is:
SM-G950USQS7DTB1

Hi
Was hoping to get some guidance from anyone who has successfully upgraded the Android version on their Samsung GT-P5110. My daughter needs to install educational software that requires Android 5 or above (due to COVID/Home Schooling). Id love to buy a new tablet but Ive lost my job so hoping to get this old tablet working. Has anyone succesfully upgraded this model? Any help with instructions and links to correct versions of Odin, TWRP and OS Image would be most appreciated. Ive got some tips from this thread but not sure where to get the correct file versions..

Tablet is useless to me now. YouTube no longer works keeps asking to update
So my son broke his phone and is now using my old Verizon s10+. At the time I stopped using it, was still on firmware VZW SJ8 ( Android 10 beta)
My question is this.
Do I need to flash all subsequent firmwares sequentially? Can I just download a full version of the latest firmware and flash it and be up to date?
If so, does anybody have a good place to download said firmwares?
It's been a minute since I flashed anything. I don't remember anything apparently.
