Yes file size is same 1.5 gb.
VoLTE option is available in this ROM.

no google play service is preinstalled and are not usable when flashed externally. it keeps crashing and I cant log in. and this junky preinstalled keyboard is pain in ***. I Almost cried writing this.
and some chinese pre installed app of no use.(though i can bear them)

I turned off super su. And disabled chinese app. I've installed play store but it's crashing. Installed gboard now, thanks. But play service is still not working.

Lift display up - you see notifications AND the clock. Recieve a notification - beta 9 has just the notification text (sometimes expanded, sometimes not (??????)) with clock missing. Is it fixed in beta 10?

Works fine here, I get notifications and previews when pick up the phone.

I can flash this on my A3000 right? I know it's a silly question but had a nasty run in with this software on my OP2 ....

Just tried the Beta 10 build. It broke the twrp recovery every time I rebooted the device. I tried the official twrp 3.1.1-2 and also 3.1.1-0. Also, unable to get root, tried magisk and supersu as well.
Anyone flashed successfully and got root yet? Which debloater did you guys use?

This is general behavior of OOS/H2OS that it replaces TWRP with stock recovery.Just re flash TWRP not a
big deal.
Regarding debloating most of the app you can just uninstall except market and browser which I use
to freeze/disable.
Till now not rooted , but Magisk12 should work.

default contact app syncs with google contact sync. Just install google installer APK and try.

Testers needed for AOSP 7.1.2 Pixel themed ROM

Hi everyone,
I used to own a i9100 many years ago and was a developer back then, anyway it's good to see the phone is alive and kicking!
I built my own ROM which is clean aosp (untouched settings and most of base with only commits needed to build for non google devices) with pixel theme,
I want to test it but can't, I need 2 or 3 people who would want to test the alpha build and let me know if it works and send me screenshots,
again, this rom is clean aosp focused and performance, battery and getting that clean google pixel experience without the bloat some roms have, also I update it as soon as the security update comes out since there isn't many commits like other roms.
PM me please if your serious about testing.

Flashed and rom works very well, is fast,smooth , just need permissive kernel to flash supersu systemmode to get root..

I flashed supersu systemmode but bootloop.

Tried to test your ROM. Downloaded it, did a clean wipe installed it after ][7.1.2_r17][OMS][i9100] XenonHD 7.1. Get sutck on install at step "patchjng", waiting at least 30mn then i get back to restore Xenon. Sorry guys.

Noops cannot go back to recovery... Stuck there on logo or the only choice i see is to go to dowload mod but then ...?

I want to be a candidate @sooti! I sent a message to the private. Take a look

@sooti: well, after 12 hours of use, i noticed some things:
1. I can not install apps outside of google play even when I enable the Unknown sources option.
2. App notifications are always blank and you can not read what has been alerted.
3. Aesthetic: adjust the logo of initialization. gets too big.
4. Remove the installation of magisk when flashing, as it does not work on device and leave the system with the root already activated =)
5. 'MTP was stopped'. Whenever I open the files or connect the device to the notebook and disconnect the message persists.
6. Admin mode can not be enabled by other launchers.
7. Aesthetic: Adjust the size of the watch. Ex: When it is at 11:30 AM / PM, AM / PM goes from the screen.
8. Filming mode when clicking (+) on the instagram doesn't work, even with all the permissions enabled. The rest works very well.
9. Speech recognition does not work with 'ok google'. Using the Google assistant works fine. I even talk to her when I feel lonely. :rir:
10. Call recording not working same habiliting the permission.
11. The device was restarted 2 times on its own and ran out of the signal from the service provider. The signal only returned after the device restarts manually.
EDIT: 12: The phone only charges when it is switched on or in recovery mode (TWRP). If turned off, it turns on and enters the TWRP to load.
'Forgetting' these 12 problems, the rest works very well!
They will tell you that it is a lie, but the battery lasted 4 hours and 45 minutes using it intensely. Can you explain the magic to me, since with others, they last between 3 to 4 hours and 30 minutes? I'll send you pictures when use intensely again to prove it.

it is not a TWRP flashable zip , you have to extract the content of the zip & then flash the content trough fastboot ,
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash system_b system_other.img (if your main slot is a then flash with this command)
fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
with fastboot binary inside the unziped folder , or cd to the directory if you are on linux ,

How do you unlock the bootloader of sailfish updated to Android Q? There's a decent amount of people who're saying that the manufacturers shipped it with a locked bootloader in order to prevent the use of custom ROMS.

No Pixel Launcher! (EDIT: I am using gestures, see below.) There are some apps that add that capacity. I'm trying to restore the Pixel Launcher with TiBu but haven't been successful yet.

@kkjb gives info about how to add it back above but I haven't figured that out yet either. I've been having problems installing apk's on 10. I get a "Sorry, no application available"
EDIT: ES File Explorer and perhaps other file managers that haven't been updated to work with 10 don't work. Amaze or the native file manager works, as do others I expect that are designed to work with the scoped memory framework of 10.

Research the differences between AOSP, Code Aurora (CAF) and stock Google. Then with custom roms that are built either from stock or aosp, you'll know what to expect. I'll give a quick overview for you.
AOSP is pure Android. While heavily influenced by Google, it's 100% open source and free to modify. It includes no extra apps, no Google, nothing. The only thing on this rom that says Google is the search bar on the home screen, and I'm fairly sure that's only for dev testing because there's not even a browser really, it's just AOSP's webview. AOSP is the cleanest, simplest system you can get. It should have the least bugs and also the least features. It literally doesn't include a browser. CAF is basically optimized AOSP. It's Qualcomm directed so optimizations can be done on the Snapdragon chips. You will rarely see AOSP without CAF code because no one likes an unoptimized phone. Qualcomm produces optimization code because they make the chips, Google adds Android features like gesture navigation because Google is on the software side, and the end result is stock Android. The main advantage to AOSP is a clean system. The only Google apps on there are the ones you install yourself. This is my preferred method since I like to add things one at a time, and if there are any issues I remove the last thing I added. There's no extra background stuff I have to sort through if I have an app crash or battery drain. The counter is that I get zero extra features, I must add them all myself. On this rom for example, gestures must be activated (the apks are in fact present in the system), no pixel launcher, no play store, no Find My Device, nothing extra. OP included a vendor image for Mind the Gapps. These are open source implementations of Google apps, but the apps themselves still use Google's proprietary code. Necessary to still use proprietary code if you want everything to work like stock. Open Gapps is one I've used a lot, still fits my preference because it only installs base Google framework, allowing you to choose what Gapps you install. For example, Play Music which I never use is typically just taking up space on my phone and can't normally be uninstalled. With Open Gapps, it's not installed by default in the pico package, and I can install and uninstall play music at will. This is base knowledge for installing custom roms. If you just want things to work, stick to stock. But I've found I get better battery life with AOSP/ Lineage and minimal Gapps. Lineage has more bugs than stock. Pros and cons, pick your poison.
OP- Not underwhelmed, I'm overjoyed. This is exactly what I wanted. Nice and clean, the only extras are what I personally add. My tether options are greyed out, does anyone know how to enable them? It can't be a rom issue, everything works. Just a build.prop edit I'm assuming?

1- I flashed Note7_Flyme8.19.10.15_daily_YouLinw_19.10.19 clean install good boot but, when I installed googleinstaller3.0 (very difficult stages passed, reboot required on each tab) and contacts not loaded sync.
Since there is a Chinese version, every application is based in China, is there a global version of it?
2- I flashed Note7_H2OS_9.0.8_YouLinw_19.09.11 clean install but not boot so stayed on boot H2OS icons, any solitions
3- To add other languages, morelocale-22-3-1 is not very useful, with little change. Is there any other solution?

1. You need to give all permission to google play service , contact and any apps you want to sync by yourself.
2.Lavender need to format data everytime you change rom due to data encryption.
3.no solution for now.
This rom did not read sd card so I am waiting new update.
