Hello. So my problem is that sometimes I open camera, it starts to look somehow blury and weird and also it starts to shutter. Then when I take picture it is absolutly normal. Can you guys help me what is the problem? Thank you all very much!
weird never happened to me but by the looks of it i rhink its a software not a hardware problem

A good amount of the time when I go to access the camera it loads the camera app and for a split second it shows a black screen and jumps right back to the home page. Sometimes resetting the phone will fix this but often a reset doesn't help. Is anyone else having this problem? Any fixes?

sounds like a bad camera . I would take the unit in for warranty.

I have a big problem with the galaxy s5 camera. Sometimes the camera starts flickering.. I mean a white coloured band comes for a millisecond on the right side of the screen and repeats every second. This is also seen while recording videos, and its very annoying. How can this problem be solved?

To further check the issue I found that this only happens with the stock camera app and does not happen with any other camera app like aosp camera etc. So is the issue hardware or software related?

it is a software problem.I have the same problem on my S4 with the stack camera app.If use google camera it works like a charm.
Maybe you should try a factory reset and see if the issue persists. If it does, definitely return it!

I have the same problem one times, I hope that this is only a SW issue and not HW. With the picture or with the video quality I have no problem.
Somebody please help. I got my phone yesterday and I noticed this problem from the start. Rear camera focus is not working 8/10 times. If I try to focus on objects very close like 10 cm its works perfectly but try to focus on something few feet away it fails and screen remains blurred. And sometimes when it focuses screen is still very blurred. Screen looks similar to how 144p YouTube video looks like.
Somebody please tell me if my camera is defective or this is how the camera is on this phone.

Requested a replacement from amazon and the guy who came said a lot of people are facing different issues on this device and so I returned the product instead. Now time to buy another phone
