Settings reset to default after reboot. - Xiaomi Redmi 3s Questions & Answers

I'm using xiaomi.eu ROMs. After rebooting, lockscreen wallpaper, theme, font, and few minor settings restore to default. Two weeks ago I updated TWRP to 3.1.0.0 by fedosis. Is this due to recovery or some other problem.?
P.S. it happened with 3 different versions of Xiaomi. Eu ROMs. I'm pretty sure it not a ROM bug.

Cut Lockscreen wallpaper on PA

Hello everybody i have tried all diffrent approach to solve this problem i have.
The problem is when applying a lockscreen wallpaper on the PA rom it always gets cutted so that half the background is the lockscreen wallpaper
and the other half is the main background. I have already tried reinstall the rom , wiped system cache etc. I also once restored everything back to stock with toolkit. Then rooted it again and installed a fresh PA rom again and same thing there.

Fonts reset after some time, Apps take too long to install

I'm on Exodus ROM, 1707 build.
Lightning SBTC kernel.
Pico CyanogenMod gapps.
My issue is that apps download normally but some (most of them) take way too longer than normal to install.
I tried Installing apps from apks and the same issue arises.
I reflashed the to, went back to kk and upgraded. Then flashed this ROM again. But no luck
Also After flashing CMOS 12 apps, I had 2 theme store. I had to remove one (the one without cyanogen logo).
But the issue is that after I apply a theme, the messenger, whatsapp and some other apps' fonts reset to default after sometime.
Please help to solve these issues!
About your issue of slow install, that has been quite the normal case with Lollipop in general, if you feel that apps are being installed at a slower rate then try some other ROM if same continues with other ROM then you'd have found that it's not the ROM's fault else its got something to do with the ROM, post a query to the OP of that ROM's thread.
There maybe some conflict in the theme manager due to you flashing COS12 apps. I'd recommend that you flash the ROM again and see if this issue persists without you flashing COS12 apps.

TWRP won't reboot - how to fix it?

After flashing TWRP in fastboot mode I can use it as the default recovery like it should and it works flawlessly except when I want to reboot.
As soon as I click on reboot in TWRP the phone freezes and I have to long press the power button to turn it off.
Is this a known bug or is there a fully working TWRP build somewhere?
Thanks in advance
There's currently no official build of TWRP for the OnePlus Two, only a few chinese versions which seem to be slightly customized. Are you using a theme for TWRP? I got the same behavior due to a (seemingly) custon dialog which asks if you want to disable automatic reflashes of the stock recovery and a theme that couldn't handle the described screen.
Hmm, I am using the Play theme http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/theme-twrp-materialised-dark-light-play-t2915584 which works without a problem on my LG-G2.
Could it be a problem on the OnePlus 2?

Do not use a theme on the OnePlus 2, the chinese TWRP has an extra screen that themes cannot handle, leading to it essentially freezing when you click restart/shutdown etc.
Simply remove the theme and all will be well. (or hold the power button to turn the phone off if you really must use a theme, I had no ill effects when doing that, but reverted my theme anyway.)
when the official TWRP comes out, you can use themes again.

Strange bootloops.

So hey.
I'm facing a really weird issue with my phone. I currently use DU and it works perfectly, however whenever I install 'Ubermallow' or 'Omni ROM' or 'chroma' or even PN for that matter they all initially work perfectly. I go ahead and install AK and xposed it's all still fine, then I randomly restart my device. It starts bootlooping. So I think maybe it's substratum going haywire I remove the overlay, and it's still looping. I end up rm-rF'ing the vendor partition and reflash that to no avail. Now I'm thinking AK kernel is messing up, but it works fine on DU. Xposed could also be it but again I've used it for so long on DU and before that on PA. So if anyone has any advice or anything drop a comment. Thank you
Well typically if you get a bootloop, something isn't playing nice with the system[obviously].
In your case: I'm using Pure Nexus + Kylo Kernel + Substratum and no random reboots / bootlooping on a controlled reboot.
Suggestions:
AK Kernel - Make a profile and then back it up, make sure it is working - no screen glitches or ui crashes, and reboot. Bad kernel settings [undervolting, etc] can cause bootlooping. Once you verified there you can boot, move onto your theme.
Regarding substratum - I would go into the vendor folder, delete the entire overlay folder, reboot, then apply your theme - making sure the themes are compatible. If you experiecing per-app issues, go back and then individually disable its over. Once it is set, backup your theme and reboot. If you experience bootlooping here then you've narrowed it down to the theme. You can delete the overlay folder from TWRP.
As always, install the ROM via clean flash for the best results.

I need help with xiaomi note 7 random reboot and apps stopping - Custom Roms

I have a problem with my xiaomi note 7, I decided to install a custom rom because it worked very badly with the latest version of miui. I tried installing HavocOs but on the third day of use the applications started to stop and the phone restarted randomly. Then I installed pixel experience, exactly the same thing happened.
So I decided to try installing the official miui 11 again with the miflash tool, more of the same, added to the fact that it drained the battery a lot. And finally I decided to reinstall the newest version of pixel experience trying to add xiaomi firmware and pixel recovery. And so it has resulted in the same.
I know that something is damaged, but I don't know what to do and I can't know it immediately because errors always take 2-3 days to appear.
