Sharing experimental (migration) build for Z00T - Zenfone 2 Laser Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I completely missed the boat to easily migrate cyanogenmod 14.1 to Lineage OS. Could someone privately share lineage-14.1-20170127-experimental-Z00T-signed.zip file that was released in January, if you still have it on your drive? I couldn't find it anywhere using Google.
Thank you in advance!

Could we build a custom rom from the sourcecode provided by Lenovo?

Hi,
As the owner of a Nexus device, I am used to regular OS updates with included security patches. Since my Android Lenova Book has not updated yet, I started to look around
to see what could be find on the internets about that. I did not find much, but on the Lenove website I did find the Open Source Code for our Book.
http://support.lenovo.com/nl/nl/products/Tablets/Yoga-Series/YOGA-Book/ZA0V?tabName=Downloads&linkTrack=Mast:SubNav:Supportrivers%20and%20Software|Drivers%20and%20Software&beta=false
After downloading and unzipping it, to me it seems that these are the prop files you need to create a custom / updated rom. Since I am not that savvy on the subject, I only compiled a few roms, It would be nice if somebody could tell me if this is indeed the code that is needed to compile an updated rom and what steps should be taking to make this happen?

I, too, would love to see this happen.
I own the Windows version, but I've been flirting heavily with the idea of dual-booting. The major obstacle at the moment appears to be that Remix and the other x86 android builds don't recognize or support the halo keyboard. I'd love to have a ROM or something I could install to get the proper Android experience.
I'm down for this... providing my Book arrives soon (in AU so it'll take its time). If I find anything, or get enough free time to throw together a custom ROM I'll update. But I can't guarantee the latter (custom ROM from myself) as it will be a big learning experience.

Have you had a look at the current version of Android Lenovo provides? That certainly does support the Halo keyboard.

If you go to this post, I've helped someone in the same boat as yourself. Read through the comments, that should give you a tutorial on how to flash the ROM so that you have Google.

Need help porting LineageOS to TB-8504F

This is as far as I have been able to make it. I have it building locally with a couple local changes, but after being flashed the device doesn't boot into LOS.

Would anyone be up for helping with this?
Anyone up for helping with this? This is my first time. I don't mind doing the grunt work, but could use some direction/help from someone with more experience. Thank you!
I would love to test it out for you but I don't have mouse and the recovery available for tb 8504f requires mouse since touch interface does not work
You don't need a mouse to use TWRP on TB-8504F - I use touch all the time
Hi there... I'm trying to build LineageOS 14.1 for TB-8504X. There's already LineageOS 16.0 for it, but I need a stable LineageOS 14.1 device tree for another project.

Looking for Advice choosing a LineageOS ROM

Hi all,
my OnePlus 2 is currently running a very old version of LineageOS 15.1.
I am looking to update and found that besides the Official Lineage 17.1 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-official-lineageos-17-1-for-oneplus2-android-10.3969619/) a well maintained Unofficial LineageOS 15.1 with latest security patches (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...us2-android-8-1-0-oreo-february-2021.4167561/) exists.
Does anybody have recent experience with both ROMs and can shed some light on how the tow compare or maybe even give advice which one to pick?
I am mostly looking for a stable, bug-free as possible experience as the phone will be used by someone who doesn't want to configure around with the phone all the time.
From reading across the threads, it seams like there are more bug-related discussions in the 17.1 Official ROM.
Thank you!
If phone will be used by someone who doesn't want to configure all the time
I say lineage 15.1 would be good
As you know 17.1 is still on nightly

Lenovo Rab 4 8 Plus (TB8704F / X / V)- Attempting to build LineageOS 18.1

The title. Basically: I'm looking to try and build for this device (I have TB8704F), and potentially start official support. Figure I'm better off starting with what I have and working my way up to other devices I want to try and build for.
Are there any hardware quirks of this device I should be aware of? I've heard of the fingerprint reader being a problem, is it a significant one? And other general issues in development I need to be aware of?
Also can someone link a TWRP /OrangeFox version that can support android 11, the TWRP / OrangeFox build guide is just confusing to me.
Looking forward to it very much
