You can easily go back to stock using samsung kies software.
http://www.samsung.com/in/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/
Here's a tutorial page from samsung on how to fully restore the stock firmware:
http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/skp/faq/1062531
Let me know if this helped you out.
Great, never used it before...
Kind of funny as I've been a rom chef since windows mobile

Hi i`m a frequent user of this site and i just love it, thanks to all devs for your great work..
but now i really could use some help have gone trough the note forums over and over again and cant seem to find any information about my note which runs:
pda:kk4/phone:kk5/csc:kk5 (NEE)
This cant be the latest update?
but kies or OTA wont give me any updates..
i live in finland and carrier is (elisa/saunalahti.. if it makes any difference)
ps, already tried to change csc to XEE or XEU which would be the scandinavian and uk codes, but if i change the csc then kies wont recognise the device anymore..
so if you have any ideas or atleast some information about the newest update available and how i would get it then i would be grateful..
Dreaming of the ICS cant wait........
You can update using odin. Go to the android development section of this forum and theres a thread about updating firmwares and such.

Download lies from the country site I changed csc to worked for me. Together with running the connection fix in kies, reboot and running kies in admin mode.
I downloaded kies from the Samsung note page on that country website. Noticed that made a difference to.

Hi Guys i have developed a Swollen battery for my i9505 and have arranged a replacement via warranty and and Samsung. They need to see the phone along with battery however, My phone is currently rooted with cwm recovery installed. I need to bring it back to official firmware and i am looking for the same firmware the phone came with.
I am not to sure what region the original firmware was based on. I am from the UK and the phone was on o2 network. These are my about details prior to modification:
Android 4.2.2
Baseband Version: I9505XXUBMF8
Kernal Version: 3.4.0-917495 [email protected] #1 Wed June 19 20:07:29 KST 2013
Build: JDQ39.I9505XXUBMF8
SELinux: Permissive
Secure Boot Status: Type: Samsung
I believe i have the old boot-loader and my device is Knox free. I am looking for this firmware but cannot find it. I did some research and came across it on DjeMBeY's thread however the stock firmware he has link to was on Hotfile which is no longer running.
Can someone please help me find alternative link to my required firmware please? Also if my firmware was "MF8" does this mean all MF8's are the for the same region? or will there be separate MF8's for separate regions?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
AndroidFirmwares.net or Samsung-Updates.com, if they don't have what you need you're probably SOOL, at least until Samfirmware have all their stuff back up (when they put stuff up on Terra, they seem to have started with the most recent stuff working back, but it seems a bit 'patchy' I.E some recent stuff is up, some isn't).

Okay thanks i have had a look for my firmware on Samsung-Updates.com, and come across 2 firmwares which are MF8
GT-I9505 YOG I9505XXUBMF8 Android 4.2.2 19.06.2013 917495
GT-I9505 PRT I9505XXUBMF8 Android 4.2.2 19.06.2013 917495
I believe one is for Spain and one for Poland, now my question is how do i know which one was originally on my phone? My phone is a UK model running on o2 network, and these 2 firmwares are for different countries, I am confused, should there be a MF8 for UK also? Please advice? thanks

I will download what's out and start posting them :good:
When you download the file is a ZIP. I think I must decompress it in order to get the tar.md5 , right?
Which option must I select in Odin? AP with only REboot and Factory reset?
thanks!

Reflashing
Hi,
I will reflash factory Firmware, i have rottet and have custom recovery. I already have download Firmware and odin can somebody explain me please hove to do it i will be greatfull thanks everybody :good:
I understand that these are stock roms, curious if non-stock roms like CM12 and similar will ever make their way over? My OR rom is awesome, I'm just one of those fools that's constantly customizing for the fun of it.

Flash at your own risk.
Hello
Rooting my device voids the warranty, but if I have any problems with my device and need support ... Can I flash the stock ROM and take it to customer support?
Without them finding out?

No. You can reinstall stock ROM and have the tablet working as before, but after installing anything custom the efuse will be blown. This means that it can always be detected that custom firmware/kernels/recovery/root/etc have at one point been installed. It also means security containers like Knox will refuse to operate.
I tried out the October (J) release for T815 which has been released for DBT (Germany) and a few other places. (link here). PDA version: T815XXU2AOJ4. Included CSCs: BTU (UK), DBT (Germany), ITV (Italy), XEF (France), XEO (Poland). Android 5.0.2. Previously I had the latest release for PHN (Netherlands), which is still T815XXU1AOG9.
Stagefright bug fixed according to Lookout. Not fixed according to Trustable.
New app icons
Still no multi-user
For DBT, there are four German bloatware apps included. All four can be uninstalled without root.
No Camera2 API
Dialer doesn't accept the secret codes like *#06#, *#0*#, *#1234#
Weird display behaviour (flashing, freezing) at very low battery percentages
Warning: you can not fully downgrade from this version "2" firmware to the version "1" firmwares we had until now! You can partially downgrade if you leave the bootloader and the modem as is (so downgrade only PDA and CSC).
This is great. Any chance that someone has the Stock ROM for the SM-T817V? Or does the firmware for the T815 work on this device?
The October T815XXU2AOJ4 version is now also out for T815 in the Netherlands (PHN), which is bloatfree. No other CSCs included. Link here. The dialer accepts the secret codes like "*#1234#" again. Otherwise the experience is the same. Again, you can't downgrade from this version.
Can the 5.1.1 update be flashed on any SM-T810?
I purchased one in Australia and when I tried to follow the instructions and flash with ODIN I get an error SW REV CHECK FAIL DEVICE when using 5.1.1_T810XXU1BOH7_T810XAR1BOH7_XAR.zip
I had and un-rooted device, which just received an update (11/03) to version LMY47X.T710XXU2BOJ1. I ended up rooting and flashing TWRP on it, but I'm having an issue writing to my external SD card. Is there something I can flash to fix this?
Thanks
edit: Google was my friend - manually updated platform.xml.

The T810XXU1BOH7 firmware is very old (H = August I think). Apparently for your device it constitutes a downgrade, which it doesn't allow. Download the most recent firmware to flash. If e.g. you currently have firmware with a "2A" (5.0.2) on your device, you can't flash this "1B" (5.1.1) firmware even though it seems like an upgrade of android, because it is a downgrade of the bootloader. Download firmware with "2B" (5.1.1) in the name and I think it may work.
I don't have the T810, but T815 which is still stuck at 5.0.2...
Is it possible to flash a T710 firmware onto a T715 device? I don't need LTE at all so I don't mind losing it (I have no SIM). I just want to get faster updates because I need multi-user support from 5.1.1.

Hello i have Samsung Galaxy S5 from uk h3g is from three mobile is neverlocked why i don't recieve update to android 6.0.1? my rom is stock 5.0
Because *afaik* 3 mobile UK hasn't released 6.0 for the S5 yet. I am with 3 UK too, but I got sick and tired of waiting so I flashed a BTU firmware (unbranded) and will upgrade to 6.0 as soon as I'm satisfied that the bugs that are holding me away from 6.0 have been rectified.
If i want to flash rom from samfirmware with odin3 ex : uk or romanian unbranded rom is ok or i need something Pda csc?. sory for my english
If your device is running H3G firmware and you are getting good signal where you live, then the UK BTU firmware should also be fine.

now i have Vodafone Ro sim in my s5 and my signal is ok. Aniway i don't understand why samsung not release update for three too ))
It's not down to Samsung mate......
They've made the updates available....that's all they can do.
It's down to the network provider.....
They have to release it to their devices, and for whatever reason, they haven't updated this device yet.....
