Volume increasing too much - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answers

Usually when I press volume up or down, the volume moves in increments. If the phone doesn't reboot every couple of days, the volume will move about 25%. I can go from 0% volume to 100% in 4 clicks. Anyone else having this problem?

Power button issue?

Does anyone have a power button that works, but doesn't really click? You can only hear the click if you put your ear next to the button. Am I the only one who has this issue? My volume rocker also has a louder click than my power button so the sound of my power button is starting to worry me quite a bit.

Volume control

I am having a problem with my volume, every time I hang the phone up my volume setting pops up and is automatically turned all the way down even though it was turned up. Once I click the settings button to turn it back up all my volume settings are pre set and its not what I set them at.
Do you use a widget called volume control+? It does that if you save settings.

No I don't. Just as soon as I hang up I look at my screen and it has the volume setting that pops up when you hit the volume button on the side, and I am not hitting that when I hang up. Hasn't always done it.
Reboot it as in power off then on or hold down the home power and volume up? I have turned it on and off several times with no luck. I know it isn't that big a problem and I don't know if anyone else is having the same issue but I would like to be able to fix it. I appreciate everyone's help.
I don't think I want to do that, wouldn't I lose all my apps. I don't have a computer to back anything up. Do I need to reboot it with the three keys?

Problems with power button

Hey guys I've had 2 s7 edges the second one being my current one. They've both had problems with the power button, it won't work. I push it and it doesn't turn on the screen nor does it turn it off when the device is on. Has anyone else had this problem?

Mine is working fine
There seems to be a bug where the volume down and power button become unresponsive. Holding down power and volume down together will make it reboot and fix it.
I can confirm that holding down the power button and volume down even tho they seem unresponsive, still reboots the device and resolves the issue. Hopefully it doesn't come back

Volume Down and Power button don't seem to work anymore

Something just happened to my phone where the touchscreen actions went a little crazy for a second or two and then the Volume Down and Power button don't seem to work anymore.
The Volume Up button still works though...
Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a way to turn off or reboot the device without using the power button?
Volume down, power and home button. All 3.

Click to collapse
Thank you!
Actually, I found in this case holding down Volume Down and Power caused the phone to reboot. I wonder if something got stuck...
It happened to me as well and I found some article which said to hold power +down button for some time and it will reboot

Volume UP

Noticed on recent 2 updates on LineageOS 14.1 that I can bring down the volume by pressing Volume Down BUT
No action when I press on Volume Up (the volume slider not even appear)
Alternatively, I press Volume Down to bring out hte Volume slider then manually slide it UP to bring up the volume, anyone encountered the same minor issue?
OR any setting that I accidentally toggled ON or OFF?
one and off still encountered this, anyone else?
when i bring it down, sometime it just bring it up to max immediately, sometime few seconds later..sometime..after few minutes..
