Is there anyway to unlock 60fps video recording in Moto g4 plus. I heard the hardware supports it but somehow software doesn't... Anybody have any Camera mods

Hi everyone.
Thanks to an user from Android forums find out that this particular app works nicely with our LG Stylo , i have notice pictures are better than the Native cam app installed on this device.
You can download the LOLLIPOP ..APK from this Thread and thank you @xdabbeb for this amazing camera software.

You guys can give it a shot and tell us here what you thing about it if is Better than the native lg cam app or non at all.
some LOW-light and Night Picture test using XCam
Thanks you for posting this. I love the phone, but I really hate the camera. This app makes the pictures come out so much more clear.
Edit:
I just noticed the front camera only goes to 2m. I thought It was supposed to be a 5m camera?
have you tried to see if the phone can record on the 1080p 60 fps option

LoL sorry ihad the front camera instead and 1080p 60fps which is slow-motion isn't available LoL, yeah i just did a recorded test using 1080p 60fps (Slow-Motion) and records pretty well, i really don't recommend record video using 60fps unless you are playing to playback at slower rate (24fps or 30fps) for a slow motion effect.

Lol. Im going to try to learn how to make a Custom Rom over the weekend. We definitely wont get our own forum without it.
Installed and loving it, thanks.

how can u keep saying that when other phones with the same hardware (their camera), can do slow mo recording at 120fps?
it's definitely not a "feature" problem, it's a choice from google not to add the function just to sell their new phone.

we arent talking about other phones, who are also made by different companies. as to why, you might be right, or wrong. im clueless, as are you.
such BS that it doesnt have slow mo video. the moto x 2014 has it using the moto camera..
the hardware is more than capable of supporting it

hardware, yea. maybe theres something that google did/added that doesnt support it. i mean it does do it, from what ive seen. just the quslity is fsirly low.
maybe they cant, the camera does suck and keeps refocusing half of the time, i cant take a snapchat video without it jumping back and forth

The hardware is also capable of fast hardware crypto, yet it also isn't available.
Most of these "features" end up being some kind of trade-off. I.e., too much more blobs not worth the minimal benefit from the feature, or possibly the blob may add that feature, but does something else so poorly that it isn't worth it.

Hi guys, is there a way to enable 60fps recording on this device?
Maybe a Mod or something? I saw phones like xperia z1 with mods on the camera to enable this feature.
Thanks!!

Yes, i have to agree with you. This phone's camera is great. Yesterday i compared it with a buddy's OnePlus 3 and in some cases this phone gets better results.
Maybe in the future we can add more development on this device

You'll need Camera HALs, camera driver sources, & a LOT of time to mod it to get it even remotely working. Previously, in a Moto G2 thread, we had discussed this and realized that it wasn't worth that effort...

Hi! A friend of mine has Onples 3t and was able to activate Slow Motion with Sounds and 240fps video, is it possible to do the same on Oneplus 5?
As far as i know, there's certain limit as to what a lens can capture. And oneplus 5 is not capable of that.

Lens? You mean sensor and ISP. IMX398 is most likely same sensor like IMX298(3T) with added Dual PDAF. What makes you think it is not capable?

Oneplus 3t too, isn't capable of capturing 240 fps. Get your facts right.

sorry but without the hardware this is going to be impossible.
you can stretch what we already have but it will never be the same.
The G6 has a fantastic offering in terms of its tele and wide lens. The stock app is very good. But the videos are too over-processed. Why? Cant LG engineers understand such a simple thing? How difficult it is to provide controls for saturation/sharpness/contrast (color profile) ? To my knowledge there are no custom/third party apps that does all that the stock app does and also provide these controls. Filmic pro does not provide setting 60fps at 1080p and there is doubt about other functions too. Hope LG is listening..
Well, the problem also persist on G7. So I don't think it will be fixed soon. Try HedgeCam2, it's pretty clean camera app, without any preprocessing.

Just tried it. Many bugs for video. Stabilization cant be turned on. Video goes blank from time to time, cant select between the two cameras.. So looks like we are stuck with their custom app..
What a shame LG. How can you miss such a basic feature in an otherwise wonderful app.
G7 has LG cinelog setting

The cinelog is an option that comes with G7 and V30. This can be enabled to get a much flat video with higher dynamic range. My understanding is this is the function of the AD converter that converts the voltages received from the sensor's photo receptors and converts it onto a digital form. LG make their own camera modules so they totally control this process.
The G6 doesnt have this camera module and so cant do it.
But LG is definitely on right track...
