Hi,
I want to use ACalendar instead of the G5 Plus's stock calendar. I've installed it and pop up notifications from BOTH calendars started showing up. I disabled the stock calendar but not the ACalendar won't sync. Any thoughts?

Re enable the stock calendar and just turn off notifications in the app. Or you can turn off notifications in the OS either in the app info screen or when the notification comes up.. long press on it and you have the option to block all notifications

I have 2 gmail accounts on my phone setup right now and i hate having to switch between them while in gmail app itself. Is there anyway to have 2 gmail icons on the home screen 1 for each?
Would also like to know this. It is a pain in the ass how the gmail app handles multiple accounts. I would at least want a option to have the app reset to the accounts screen every time I close it.

I use "Gmail Unread Count" widget from the market, working pretty nicely so far. I have 2 gmail accts and put a widget for each on my homescreen, has customizable icon and shows the number of emails unread in each acct and tapping whichever widget opens the acct you have it set to check.

I had problem with google calendar updating. In the calendar I would hit refresh with no effect. If you go to the main menu, settings, sync, and hit the gmail sync, I think it syncs correctly then. Since I manually sync all my apps for battery reasons I just put the "sync all" widget on my homescreen and press it when I want everything to update. Hope that makes some kind of sense and helps.

I've tried to do a manual sync as well. The 'Us Holidays' calendar shows up on my phone. But not the Birthdays. I put the birthdays in my Gmail contacts.. They sync to the calendar online without a problem. For some reason they just don't go to my phone
I had this problem with a friend's shared calendar and was able to fix it.
Verify under Google Calendar you are actively viewing that calendar
Under Accounts and disable the calendar sync for your google account
Under Applications, clear data for "Calendar Storage" note this is different from "Calendar"
Re-enable the calendar sync to resync
That should work. If not, try reversing the order. I did it myself, and a friend of mine fixed his phone after i gave him similar directions.

Worked perfect. Can't believe I didn't think of that before. Thanks.
Actually. It worked for some people but not all. So weird.
I've tried a few Calendar Widgets:
Agenda Widget
Pure Calendar Widget
Stock Xoom Calendar Widget
and I'm having a problem where I can only get like the first week of events to show up.
Then when I try and use Pure Calendar Widget (Agenda Widget crashes), it doesnt show any events at all.. it's blank
I had a problem where one of my calendars wouldnt show/sync. I cleared the calendar data and cache and it came back. You may want today try that.

Using Agenda Widget. When entering setup, the tablet must be in portrait mode or it will crash. Can't get it to scroll.
I cleared cache but it didnt fix it, so im resesting factory defaults now
applications>calendar>clear data. Then do the same for calendar storage.
Then manually refresh your calendar. See if that helps.
hello guys!
I have tried syncing my Facebook Birthdays to my Google Calendar
but their notifications, despite me setting a reminder, did not show
any suggestions?
Hello, since I've updated to Nougat earlier this week I stopped getting email notifications from my yahoo emails on the Gmail app. I still get notifications on my actual Gmail email account though. When I open the app that's when I suddenly get my yahoo emails. Anybody with the same problem or solution to this problem?

Either the account is no longer added or the notifications for it are turned off. Open the Gmail app and pull out the drawer from the left edge. Select 'Settings' at the bottom of the drawer list.
If you see your Yahoo! account in the list with your gmail account, tap it and make sure 'Notifications' is ticked. The settings for which ringtone would be used is directly below the aforementioned option.
If you do not see your Yahoo! account, tap 'Add account' and follow the prompts to re-add your Yahoo! account.
Feel free to ask for further assistance. Take care.
P.S.
Just saw that you are getting the emails in the app.
I would check your sync settings. Settings->Accounts. Make sure everything is set to sync up. You could also try removing and re-adding the account for the fun of it. I will do some research on this and try to duplicate the problem on my end.
Sync settings are as they should be and notifications is checked. I'll maybe try to reset the Gmail app.
