I have enabled something which has place a "bubble" on my homescreen. When I tap it, it opens up "Common Apps" and a Yahoo search box. I'm having no luck in getting rid of it. Any ideas on how I can remove it?
Cheers
Pete
Sorted, it was ES File Explorer that was causing the problem.

The Connectivity Notification in the tray to the right of the start button lets you 'Turn on/off flight mode' and 'Connect GPRS'.
I currently have my PDA locked down using mobicontrol. This prevents the user from clicking anything in the tray. They can only click programs which appear in a list.
Does anyone how I can cause the Connectivity Notification to appear without clicking the icon in the tray? Is there a DLL or EXE i can use to make it appear? I can't seem to find it, it seems as though Shell32.exe calls it, but I can't get any further.
Failing that is there an easier way to replicate it than using lineSetEquipmentState?
Anythoughts greatly appreciated.
thanks
I would also like to know, i have my XDA locked down with Mobicontrol,
How can i bypass it, if i am quick i can load file explorer before the controlware takes over, how do i disable it?
This should be easy for someone.
For some reason I am lost when trying to uninstall a program... any program. I am using the verizon TP2. where what do I do? Im not usually this lame and its driving me crazy.

We all have our "Hey what?" moments, this one will be a quick fix though. What you have to do is go to the settings tab (within touchflo3d) and then click "all settings" in the bottom left. Then you simply navigate to the "system" tab and tap on "Remove Apps".
Have fun!
You can also do this through active sync. Good Luck.
Hello everyone,
I've been searching all over for this and even tried to do it again on a brand new phone but couldn't.
Somehow I enabled a "Hide apps" and "Hide images" (on gallery) on the Options menu as you can see on the images below.
For the apps there is a custom section called "Hidden apps" and it looks to be a hidden folder on the gallery just for the hidden pictures called "Hidden Items".
On the gallery you can't move the items while they're hidden. You need to show them, move as you like and only then you can hide them again.
Has anyone seen it before or know how it works/enables ? I know mine has it, but again, no idea on how one got it there.
Cheers

[Q] Remove the "Voice Mate, Google, Quick Memo" menu from the bottom of the screen?
I installed GravityBox w/ CM PIE controls to replace the navigation bar. I want it on the bottom but with the "swipe up" launcher menu containing Voice Mate, Google Now and Quick Memo there I can't seem to do that. Anyone have any idea how to disable this? Maybe point me in the right direction so I can figure out a solution?
solved!
I'll leave this thread up in case anyone else is interested but I've solved my own issue by removing the NAV BAR via/ build.prop. It also removed the launch menu.

Solution: add to build.prop (if you don't know how then use Build Prop Editor from market)
root required!
Code:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1
I don't know if I can help u... I've tried uninstalled single app... in my case I hate Qvoice so I uninstalled it and that app disappear from swipe up... but I looked for the swipe up menu to change setting but I fail... Here is a screenshot with swipe up without qvoice
Hi,
recently I have a "dot" on my screen and when I click on it a round pop-up mneu with an android sign appears in the middle.
Anyone have any idea where this could come from, in the installed apps I can't find an app that causes this, so I suspect a setting somewhere
Best regards
Frank
Something is activated in settings of launcher, some option for google

Hi, on my head unit it's the app "assistant" that show this dot. It's not shown in the app drawer so you have to start the app with tasker e.g. to access the settings and disable it. The other way is to look at the general settings section. There could be an entry called "flying ball" (Chinese...). Just disable it.
