All free websites provide a limited speed.
Also please provide your country code because it's necessary, wrong country's firmware might give you sim card problem.

Hello Xda community,
Personally i own an unbranded GS4 i9500( currently i have Android Jellu Bean) and i wanted to know which version of kit kat is the best to update to, since there are many options in sammobile.
- Country: India
PDA: I9500XXUFNB3
CSC: I9500ODDFNB3
And the rest are from different countries(Trinidad and Tobago, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia) but they have the same PDA and CSC, unfortunately it isnt released in my country yet...
PDA: I9500XXUFNB7
CSC: I9500OLBFNB4
Thank you in advance
The best u can do for avoid problems is:
1- Conect it to Kies 3 for know ur code region. CSC are the 3 letters btw parenthesis. The list of codes for region is HERE
2- Wait the update for ur code region. Why? Each country is different (some have LTE, others only 3g, differents modems, etc).
3- If its try for try.... select the one u wish but take care of the step 2 :highfive:
Indian one is quite stable and battery friendly.

As the i9500 does not have LTE, is safe to flash both. I did saw some improvments in phone calls and time to do the call in the indian version from the latest Omega Rom. The v18 was based on Russian version and v19 is based on indian.
Hope this help.

Hi guz,
I want to downgrade my NOTE 4 from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1. I googled it and did show one of the thread on this forum using ODIN method for that. My problem is to find the correct firmware version for note 4.
My device info is given below
Model Number: SM-N910F
Baseband version: N910FXXU1DPB1
Build Number: MMB29M.N910FXXU1DPE1
Please help me on finding the correct firmware or suggest me on identifying the possible versions.
Thank you.
Go to sammobile and find the last released 5.1.1 firmware for your device.

Use any unbranded firmware mate, UK for example. By unbranded I mean try those which don't come with any carrier labelling, you know like O2 etc.

Yes, unless EE is a carrier name it should be unbranded.
Installing the EE firmware will also install EE's own remote phone locking software in the persdata partition (Which is a real pain to remove as it will keep coming back even if you flash a non EE firmware) as well as EE's bloatware.
Use the BTU firmware for a clean unbranded phone.

Different countries generally have different firmware versions and csc codes.
Region locks too. Also an imported phone may not. fully support all the features of your network.

I got the a205g/ds model which is meant for latin america but has all the bands I need for here in Canada.
I think the Canadian specific model is a205w.
Would be cool to get a thread with a compiled list of all the different versions and the bands / region specific specs associated with them

Ok I think I can use TPA or PCW as they both point to the same firmware and currentyly my active code is TPA. It just threw me
off when I saw 3 different codes like this:
Product Code: SM-A205G
1) Firmware Code: CHO
2) Active Code: TPA
3) Country Code: PANAMA / PA
Wow ... both Sam servers are SOO SLOW ... it will take 9 hours to get the file. Is there any other place to find
the firmware I am looking for ??
TPA-A205GUBU2ASG1-20190731131630.zip

You got the October patch, right? I haven't gotten the August one yet. Or even the September one. I kinda hate Samsung now. I am regretting my decision of buying their phone. Note that in my country, Updates aren't regulated by carriers so Samsung should have sent the update on the first date.

We should genuinely try to contact Samsung and ask what is happening. The rest of the world has been getting consistent updates. The August, September and October patches. Meanwhile, we are still on the July patch. It's horrible. I have been trying to communicate to them and they have been ignoring me.
