Is there a way to get a black notification window without theming the icons and everything else?
Doesnt seem so. I had to just choose a theme and from there just change the icon pack etc

Id quite like a pure black notification bar (with no gradient) or just a transparent one.
Would look so smart with my current wallpaper. I had a look around but far too confused on how to implement and install, and dont really want my icons to be changed either.
This must be do-able.

Simply this. I have flashed void 2.3.4 and I dont like this apperance. I dont like the notification bar, the colours, the icons, the battery icon at notification bar, the lock screen....There is too many black, for example when press "menu" appear a black bar, instead a grey or transparent I prefer it on grey.....
I want to go back to the theme that had devoid.froyo. I loved it. Any way to get it on this rom?
You candownload theme apks and apply via theme changer. they got some pretty good stuffz

I never really liked the dark theme that the nexus devices seem to have (black EVERYTHING). Is there any ROM that would give a light/white-colored theme? For example, instead of having the black bar for the on-screen buttons at the bottom, have it be white. Same with the status bar. The notification tray would have a white background and the system settings would have a white background. Etc.
who knows, we might even have that

I want to change the color of the notification shade from the ugly dark teal blue to something else. Preferably like a semi transparent dark grey./black.

I am on Pure nexus layers edition
I have xposed v80
I am rooted
I tried messing with layers themes once and completely messed up the phone took for ever to restore.
If someone is going to recommend a layers theme, I will need help setting it up. Again the notification shade color is the only thing i want to change for now.

Blue Metallic is awesome!
Do what I did: I picked up dark theme, didn't like icons it came with, so I went back to icons and original system icons were the only option to choose from. I lost capability to choose background color of folder icon, but icons themselves seem to be all stock and that's the way I like it.
