I'm starting to notice that there's a significant lag from the time a notification goes off on the phone and the time the watch goes off. If I receive a text, it's a solid 2 minutes before the watch goes off. I re-paired with my S7 to see if it was the watch and the delay was a couple seconds.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I used my 8525 to listen to music over the internet for the first time (4 hours) and then went immediately into a 20 minute speaker phone conversation and I noticed the unit was very hot and the screen had various opaque colors of blue, green and pink in the background - the today screen was still visible, and my battery was beeping at me (not to surprised about the battery). I immediately ended the phone call and turned the unit off and put it on the battery charger for about an hour. After the brief charge it seems to work correctly. A few questions: Should I have not put the unit on the charger and just let it cool down? What was going on that made it get hot, and what made the screen turn colors? Should I expect this to happen again in the future, if so what should I do next time? What could have happened if I had let the condition continue as if I had not noticed the situation?:

Does not sound too serious. The heat is a bit to be expected due to the GSM radio transmission and 4 hours of music. They do get pretty hot. The colors on the screen sound more like a screen refresh issue (hopefully not screen being squeezed due to heat). If after a soft reset or turning it to standby and back the screen is still giving odd colors for a while I would have expected a more serious problem Given that after turning off and on it was fine, then much more likrly to be a software overload.
I might have let it cool a little before putting it on charger as this in itself can generate quite a bit of heat.

Pretty often, the clock jumps to the next minute, when I turn the wrist or tap the screen (display switches from dimmed to bright mode).
In reality, the new minute should have been displayed some seconds earlier. So in practice, the clock is often a little late.
If I choose a watch face with seconds, I can see this even better, because for example, in dimmed mode it shows 2:00, then I turn the wrist and it suddenly shows 2:01:20.
Sometimes, it even jumps 2 minutes when I activate the display.
So, screen refresh on change of minute does not always work.
I have already uninstalled all non-Google apps with Wear components and I did a factory reset on the watch.
Anyone else with this kind of problem? Is there any fix for that? Or is the hardware of mine not OK?
Thanks!
It seems to happen less often with Android Wear 5.0.1, but still happens.
I have noticed, it happens with standard watch faces and Facer watch faces sometimes. But it happens very often with WatchMaker watch faces.
I sometimes have a slight pause when I turn my screen on on my 6P.
Not all the time but wondered if anyone else has seen this issue or is it normal.

this lag can cause by loading of data on homescreen (widgets, live wallpaper)

So I just noticed that when I have flash set to auto, the screen blinks twice when I take a picture. Not sure if the picture is taken on the first or second blink but does anyone else see this?
Setting the flash to off or on removes the second blink.
Also when recording video, there's always a stutter at the beginning of the recorded video. It's like it skipped recording for a fraction of a second.
Have anyone seen this? I'm trying to figure out if it's a defective unit.
I have the updated software (with green battery indicator)
Thanks
I just tried the video, 3 times recording 15-30 seconds and no stutters experienced. Took a couple photos in a dark room and no blinks on the screen. I have the "safe" AT&T Note 7.

Happened on my 7pro now on my 8pro sometimes just randomly stays awake after clearing a notification does this happen for anyone else?
Hey.
I hear it for the first time. I have never encountered this before
Hey, I was just about to post the same issue - my screen tends to stay on randomly too. No idea what the root cause is but am hoping that others have encountered it. If we can figure out a reproducible scenario we should be able to log a defect with OnePlus.
Noticed my lock screen stayed on randomly...
Look slike using double tap to wake with notifications or not, keeps the display awake - it doesnt turn off after no use
i get it!
Same here.. lock screen and sometimes just stays on randomly. Peeled off screen protector wondering if that caused some issue and it still happens. They need to fix this.
