Resize photos before posting them..
Factory reset and they will be fine again

See attached pictures. Lemme know if you can't see them, I'll upload them to Imgur.

i got the same problem and i do not have that settings. i only got the search button

I lost the 3 dot menu too and I really like the large icons!!!
If anyone has any ideas please share

I have the same problem. The 3 Dots menu is not on offer.
No updates. Missing from buying the phone

Just flash the csc in odin. This is because it does not know which files for your service provider so it is using every settings it can.
Do not use home csc at that will force factory reset.
Also forgot to mention that when you reboot after flashing csc. It will boot recovery and install system update that will error out at about 32%. This is normal, just force restart and everything will work.

Riddance of 'System update downloaded'

Does anyone have a working method of getting rid of this?
I've tried a few suggestions from around the Web but no luck.
Really irritating. Any alternative way to install it with TWRP?

Just a security update unfortunately, but haven't a clue how to get rid of it. I'd like to install it, but can't with root.

Nothing you can do, the price we pay for being rooted
If you just want to get rid of the annoying notification message then go to Settings >> Notifications >>> Select show system apps under menu >>> Google Services Framework >> Toggle all notifications to off.
You can manually update to the latest version without wiping your data. You will need to already have an unlocked bootloader though and will need to re-rrot. Instructions can be found in http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928

SafetyNet failing

So I went to setup Android Pay and got this message:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I wiped Android Pay's app data and same results. So I ran a SafetyNet test and it failed.
I'm obviously not rooted or bootloader unlocked. I remember it working before. Any ideas why it won't? Anybody else on G935TUVU2APC have this issue? I'm hoping I don't have to wipe my device via Odin and start over...
EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED. APPARENTLY USING THE CONDENSED DPI OPTION BREAKS IT. SWITCHING BACK TO STANDARD VIEW FIXES IT.

Did you happen to change your dpi?
Just through the Samsung hidden settings. Could that be it?

Wow, thanks, that was it. Lmao sucks but I guess if I use Android Pay I'll revert to the standard DPI. Good to know.

Not clear whether "trying" means you succeeded or failed. Given that ambiguity there is always this:
Flash a pure stock (Samsung factory) ROM using Odin and start from the beginning. You have nothing to lose as your phone was "hard reset"
Thanks for your concern but where can I download it easily cos I try downloading it from sammobile but no way

You might have to buy a membership there (sammobile) - I recently tried downloading with my freebie account and it didn't work. (It is possible that was due to my browser type or ad-blocker issue though. I was using both an off-beat linux browser and multiple ad blockers. Someone recently suggested that might be the trouble. I didn't investigate further.)
Do you know the android version and the firmware version?

So I have a stupid question for this phone....

Im used to having the "Apps" Icon on my note 7 to see all of my apps... But that doesnt exist on the LG V20 at all as I can see. Id rather not have to go to thr settings to just see my apps. If its somewhere that I dont see, then please tell me where...
