Hey Guys ,
Finally the long must awaited official Nougat update is here for Lenovo Zuk Z2 Plus (INDIAN EDITION).
ZUI version changes from 2.0.133ST to 2.5.104ST
To install the update, you will need to download the .zip file and then copy it to the device.Rename the .zip file to Update.zip. Once that is done, you will need to reboot to stock recovery, and install the zip. This will update your Z2 Plus to Nougat.

You can try. My trying was unsuccessful. I've used FlyVPN to get actual 2.5.104.

Download was normal, regular speed as I would get on any other download, nothing slow. Installation took some time but it was ok

Just downloaded update today. It went with usual speed. Just sharing.
Any way to copy the downloaded OTA for future usage?

Yes it was to much slow... Maybe because of their servers..

Just normally downloaded and installed update from settings>about phone> updates and it worked.
Don't share email publicly if you don't want spam emails

Try any VPN and Choose China Server. If you are lucky you will get update else you have to use QPST flashing to get the update. You can always (and should complain btw i complained no reply so far the more are the people the strong is the Request) contact Lenovo and Zuk for the same.

Hi guys,
I was with 21.11.14 and many of You know that there is no update for this version yet. So what i did was simply update my phone to 21.11.23 and then Lollipop update was available.
This is tested on retEU, so i don't know if it will work on other versions!
If someone test with other versions (retin, retde, redgb) i will put the result here.
21.11.14.titan_retde.retdeall.en.DE retde - tested and not working
1. Download the update from here and save it to the internal phone memory
2. Delete everything in file name after ".zip"
3. Turn off your phone
4. Press Power button + Volume Down and hold it for 5 seconds
5. In the menu go to "Recovery" by pressing Volume Down
6. Press Volume up
7. When you see Android robot on the screen hold Volume Up for 5 seconds and then press Power button
8. Choose "apply update from sdcard" and choose the update
9. After the update check for the Lollipop update manually via Settings and if you still don't get it just update it manually with the same method or whatever method you want...

Very sorry to hear that :/ What message do you get when you try to update?
Same problem in Finland version xt1068. Reteu 21.11.14. Il get to recovery and safe mode but cant install the update.
I got all stock (locked BL and no su).

BTW, after rebooting I captured the OTA! :fingers-crossed: it's taking forever to download though... 318minutes to complete

Thanks man it worked It's optimizing my apps right now after i rebooted it . :good:
I updated the post with this tip.
And i immediatly received a lollipop update after i flashed that ota ! Many thanks OP

if you have a XT1068 just use my firmware and installer in signature to convert to global 5.0.2 no OTA needed

yes its the firmware that is currently taking AGES to arrive OTA,
it's untouched stock motorola firmware
SO FUTURE OTA WILL WORK
just using fastboot to install without any fingerprint check
its only for xt1068 dual sim dual standby
and you will lose any regionalism and be converted to the Global firmware

Try it again after a factory reset...
u must have done something to the phone when it had root access, maybe change something in build.prop??
Just factory reset it and try again.

what type of apps did u use which required root access?
one of those apps u used before unrooting must have altered the phone info and now it thinks its gionee and not General Mobile

for example Es Explorer, root explorer, system uninstaller, i want to use this apps tha's why i rooted my phone.
By the way how can i install latest general mobile elite stock rom? for example i installing latest stock rom with odin for my note 3 but i don't know how to install elite rom with pc. maybe my problem will be ok if i install latest stock elite rom.

Download OTA file 4.4.2 and rename this update.zip and put in the root of the phone. Go in recovery mode and install this. If you have a problem contact me.

i unrooted phone then formatted and wipe cache after these tired to install update.zip file in recovery but i got same error. i gonna be crazy coz of this error. am i the only person in this forum who got this error?

Tutorial:
1 - Download the file above and put in the root of your internal storage.
2 - Go to bootloader mode, choose recovery option. Once in recovery option, you'll see NOTHING. Don't worry, press the power button and click in Volume +. Will appear some options, choose "apply update from Sd Card" (or anything like that).
3- Your phone will reboot and you will get the 6.0 Brazilian Marshmallow
4- BE HAPPY!
PS: If there any modifications to the system folder (Root, xposed, any system app removed) won't work. You have to be on a 'clean' stock version.

The Rom on filefactory is the Firmware file (all files of the system, boot, and others that will be flashed by fastboot). The archive that is on the thread is the OTA (over the air) file, that is to upgrade the 5.0.2 version to 6.0 on retail brazil version.

I don't think so. I wouldn't recommend it. You may brick your phone... Maybe you should check on xt1072 forum if someone has had success doing that.
Both are Thea. Mine is XT1072 too. Can anyone please confirm will it work and is there any difference between those two model without the number?

In app this frimware size is 2.20GB

In website this frimware size is 1.31GB

No my battery is gone good.but i one problem found earlier and this is a white noiz in background display .if some hours use one app its show app buttouns on another app

any idea what these are for?

However, B580's update.zip file has some issues. Doesn't work on nxt-l29c185

You don't need the full link because the method that I've linked don't download the zip! Dload is not working, push the update archive to updater don't work. The only way to update is using this method by Huawei Updater 2.0 and you only need this URL to send by proxy to HiSuite and by this way makes the update

One more question; my phone is NXT-L29C185 (ME version, same as this thread title) and the update you have referred is for NXT-L29C432 (EU version). Was your phone a C185 before the update; if yes, is the update working fine? Or was your phone a C432 since start?

My phone is originally the Chinese version but I debrand to C432. So yes, C432 since start. U just need the link for C185:

Note: C185 doesn't have B581 yet, but this is B580!

I don't realy know (depends on your phone model), but you can try.
Unpack update.zip from those archive, put it in the root folder on your phone and try to run update from phone settings menu.
Success? -> Yep, you can manually (OTA servers stopped, now available only manual update) install EU nougat firmware.

It is already nougat. Latest USA firmware as i know.
Are you sure want to change your firmware to european? If so - try this method.

Yeah I know, the reason why I want to change it is because I went to engineering mode of the phone and selected radio band to united States and since then SIM one hasn't had network. Read somewhere that changing to EU will bring back the network

I found MM B12 on the ZTE Singapore support site. That allowed me to use stock recovery mode to force update. After that I could do normal sd updates from settings to Nougat.
