I want to disable the the laser auto focus sensor system wide and not just on the camera app but on the whole system. Is there a way to do that? I am using OOS 3.5.8 and am rooted with xposed.

Using KitKat 4.4.2 NG8 build... Smart Stay is working without any problem here... But sometimes it doesn't work properly in dim light.
Now I'm using H6 custom rom smart stay icon is showing sometimes only and there is no any response of their work.

As far as I know, no, the drivers for Samsung's fingerprint reader haven't been cracked so they can't.

Probably stock note 3 camera won't work on 6.0.1. Maybe that's the reason it was not provided in the first place. I'm just assuming. You may try to flash camera file from N5 port for example. It has option to choose camera either from N3, N4 or S6. Then delete N5 camera(or whatever it is) from the S7 port. On you own risk.

Has anyone got RAW file compatibility on the S4? I'm currently running Remix Resurrection on Nougat 7.1.2 and have enabled persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1
in build.prop and restarted but still get no support via Manual Camera or Camera FV5.
Any help would be grateful appreciated, even if it means switching ROMs
