Keeping the bootloader unlocked is considered a fairly beneficial practice. You can choose to keep it that ways, by not re-locking again.
If you need a flash-able ROM, here is a stock deodexed/odexed and rooted ROM available: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/development/n6p-angler-mdb08m-deodexed-rooted-v1-0-t3245907
In case you want to revert back to stock factory image, here is the guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928
Refer to section 10 or 11, as per your requirements.
As for rooting stock firmware, you can simply flash SuperSU through TWRP.
Hello,
I have a Huawei P9 lite VNS-L21C432B370 with unlocked bootloader and rooted.
Can someone help me get back to stock recovery and stock ROM so i can OTA update the B380 update?
Thank you
Try to remove root and lock the bootloader, and search for the B380 OTA again

On which rom you are?
If its some emui just search somewhere in here for firmware finder tutorial i used it to update to 380 (i had root and unlocked bootloader) and if you are on cm you shoud have backups (atleest if you did everything like all tutorials said) and just restore back if you don't know search
If you are on any other rom look up post from which you flashed it... Usually there is written how to get back
go to huaweis support site and find your phone. under downloads they have stock rollback package and stock firmware. download both and you will find a guide inside the downloads. then you're back to stock
Hi,
Right now i am on stock EMUI 5.0. My version is VNS-L21C432B370 but i have battery problems which i think B380 can solve but since i am rooted and with unlocked bootloader i cant OTA update.
I think getting the VNS-L21C432B380 full ROM i can update with 3 buttons method but i cant seem to find that ROM nowhere.
Can someone help?
Thank you
Hey,
I have the VNS-L21C432B380 full rom (stock) with an unlocked bootloader and unrooted. If there is a way to backup it without unlocking b/l and rooting, PM me and I'll get you sorted. Cheers!

Hi,
With all these issues like "IMEI 0" and volte not working, i just want to know a easy way to restore back to latest version of stock rom for indian variant with all the things working and a locked bootloader
Many Thanks!!!
I have the same question, i unlocked the bootloader and rooted the phone but it broke the camera app,so i have installed the different kernel as a work round to get the camera working. But i want to go back to the stock rom with stock kernel. Can someone please guide us through
So I really want to install a custom rom and I know I need to unlock the boot loader and flash it with twrp. But I been reading around here and it seems unlocking the bootloader on Oreo is not possible and the only way to do that is to downgrade to nougat... except I don’t really know how to do this on my device since as previously stated, the boot loader is not unlocked and I don’t know where the stock rom for nougat is even available to download from, or any necessary tools to download to be able to do this (I’m a complete noob). Some info of my device: A2017u, Oreo, B20
Help would be appreciated, thank you
I think you may need to go back to Marshmallow to unlock bootloader and install TWRP but I'm not on an A2017U so won't try to advise you.
I did revert my own A2017G from latest Oreo back to Nougat ok. Since gone back to Oreo. It seems to work when stock but once you meddle with it that's when all the problems start.

I have a Verizon Galaxy S5 running Lineage OS, and I wanted to restore back to the original ROM or in the best case a debranded ROM. If I flashed the original Verizon ROM will the bootloader relock as I want to go back to stock but want to keep the bootloader locked + be able to access TWRP, but I will probably have to reflash TWRP.

When it comes to the Galaxy S5 Devices (specifically), the ability to unlock their bootloader is determined by their CID (there's either the CID11 & CID15) and those can never be changed.
With that stated...
If that specific device (you're asking about) already has an unlocked bootloader, you will be able to unlock it again after flashing the Stock Firmware.
I hope I had explained this okay via text...
Good Luck!
