Is it possible to use S8 CSCs on the S7 Edge?
I altered the CSC Selection Utility slightly to include a newer S7 Edge BTU CSC, but I've had little success with the S8 version as the structure seems completely different.
I'm not sure if it's just the way that I've extracted them from the S8 BTU firmware but it seems to use an omc folder instead of CSC and the files seem to be laid out differently.
Any ideas or is this simply not possible?

I was looking forward to change csc on my s7 edge from canada, but odin has not let me to do so. I have a question regarding this. Can i install files(AP-BL-CP) of 935w8 variant and CSC from other firmware for the model G935FD?
Will it work? I have both the firmwares downloaded and was looking forward to do it. But just beacause of fear of bricking my device haven't yet tried. Is there someone who can confirm that will it work or not?
Hi, I have Galaxy S8+ SM-G955F with product code (CSC) MAX. This is for SM-G955F from Austria (T-Mobile), and Android v7.0.
I want to flash Oreo on my phone with CSC SEE. What need to do execly. I read samwhere that is not possible to flash unbranded firmware on verzion. I download S8 plus Oreo SEE ( south east europe) and what I need to do. I know enter to download mode, run Odin and chose this four files BT, CP, PDA and CSC , I think to not chose HOME CSC because want to change it to SEE. Please can someone help and tell me is it right and can I do it without any demage. Thanks
I live in Euorpe but have an imported S7 Edge G935T (T-Mobile). That i will flash the G935U firmware on. But i wanna know if i can flash the CSC from a G935F? Is the reception better?
I'm far from a guru on this and I also want to learn if I can convert my Verizon S7 Edge G935V to something more compatible with AT&T
but from my reading the actual 935F cell phone has a different processor and from my reading it won't work with the U.S. versions of the S7 Edge which
all U.S. have the same hardware. The international version is the 935F. Now there is a post somewhere of someone who said he did make a U.S. version work
as a 935F but it was slightly more involved.
I would be happy to find someone to help me with converting from a 935V to something more compatible (Radio Band wise)
before I try and might be disappointed.

Hi, I'm wondering how I can get the Canadian XAC G950W firmware onto my XAA American G950U1 phone. I'm living in Canada right now and I'm missing out on some specific features so I would like to make my S8 into a full fledged Canadian phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I have a US Galaxy S8 dreamqltesq. Current firmware is G950USQU6DSG7. I would like to put it on an XEF firmware. But this may be for a different CPU. Would it work?
