Hey, what will happen if I flash N910F full stock rom (including b/l, modem etc)? I have the N910G variant and I really wish to update to lollipop but there hasn't been any news for it in like literally a month. I live in Australia so if I do lose some bands, there are still ones that are compatible with Australia.
Also is it just me or is KitKat stock so laggy and slow? I get battery drain and overheating. I had a Note 3 before and never experienced any of these issues...
Thanks Guys! :good:

I'd advise not to as it may produce unexpectable results from losing IMEI to a Total brick. Never seen a case that it has worked, except when the kernel is not flashed and or kernal is modified to fit the new model.

Can only agree with that. There are high chances that your phone will end up being a paperweight. You don't flash anything youre not sure about via odin

What is the best ROM to use on the Samsung S5 15 Samsung eMMC's SM900V? Now that Samsung S5 15 Samsung eMMC's SM900V is unlockable.
Has anyone had any problems with installing and using TWRP3?
I'm hoping a couple suggestions pop up. So I may understand what is available.
Sent from XT1575, Stock 6.0 MM, Systemless root
Check out the dev edition threads since we sould be able to do everything they can now :3
I'm currently running TWRP 3 and the CM 13 kltevzw rom since I can't figure out how to make any of the others work right(sms and voice not functioning, but LTE data works fine.) I think it has to do with them being GSM roms and not CDMA.
If there is any interest in PAC-ROM I'll update my repos and start building since I own the right S5

If you have things not working you need to do a full wipe man. Mine's working fine.
So I don't usually like to mess around with flashing roms because It worry's me a lot that ill completely ruin my phone but I am smart enough to have rooted many galaxy s3 and s5 series phones in the past. I have a galaxy s5 with Boost Mobile (SM-G900P) and When I factory reset my phone I went through TWRP and stupidly erased the system partition. Now I need a rom to flash but I see that the same model is used with sprint and virgin mobile. Will any android rom for SM-G900P work with my phone? If yes or no What ones do you guys recommend.
Extra information
I reset it because my private mode stoped working a reset has fixed it in the past
I Had Lollipop on it (btw will a marshmallow build work?)
Please let me know thank you so much!

Try odin.
Hello everyone
So i got AT&T note4 SM-N910A on a good deal about 135$ yesterday and its unlocked running on android 5.0.1 lollipop i just want to flash 6.0.1 marshmallow stock via ODIN but i afraid if i flash another stock rom it will get network locked and i know deep down so far this thing is not rootable. so please anyone know exactly is it safe to upgrade from 5.0.1 to 6.0.1 without messing anything up because its running a modified firmware with lot of languages included and all blotware/bootanimation/tethering hotspot unlocked etc from AT&T removed.
Here are some screenshots to help understand the device i got.
TIA
EDIT-I FLASHED STOCK 6.0.1 AND EVERYTHING WORKS FINE
Moderators feel free to delete the thread.
Anyone ?

Flashing stock with Odin is harmless, I'd go for it

Thanks for replying
Yes indeed odin is harmless but my only concern was sim network lock because i have usa AT&T note 4 and i live outside usa .
previously i had sprint note 4 and i flashed stock via odin and it got network locked it was showing "invalid sim" but this doesn't happens with Tmobile/verizon/AT&T thankfully .
thats y i thought better to ask and take advice in xda.
Have a good day:good:

Now that you mention it, I did get that error on my T-Mobile Note 3 a while ago. I upgraded to the latest version via Odin (I also live outside the US) and the phone is unlocked, but I kept getting invalid T-Mobile SIM inserted and didn't get any data.
Fortunately, my plan wasn't to go back to stock, only to test GPS (Google Maps) on stock. After that, I went immediately to a custom ROM and did not get that error any more.
Hope you don't get it xD
Good day :good:
Anyone get official Oreo 8.0 for SM-G935U Unlocked variants? I mean it seems every other carrier is pushing their Oreo already, even the Exynos model ones got Oreo, was there no love for us with USA unlocked models?
I'm waiting for the official update too. Btw have you tried flashing the G935T Oreo firmware? I've tried the G935A firmware and scrolling and overall performance feels unrefined compared to nougat.

I contacted Samsung support and they said there were issues with it, so the developers are going to fix them all before Oreo is released to the SM 935U.

Finally a update . I was beginning to wonder since the S8+s [g955u1] already had 3 unlocked firmware's with Oreo and the S9+s [g965u1] having one. Now the next is to find out what Binary version the unlocked Oreo firmware's will have since Sprints stock Oreo Firmware [g935p] has a Binary 6.
I got one this evening! Still downloading...
I updated my unbranded SM-G935U yesterday, and it has permanently disabled my WiFi! Nothing fixes it, Samsung support refer me to a service center. Tired of Samsung problems tbh. Definately getting Pixel3 when it comes out! Just gotta chug along until then without WiFi -.-

I got the update two days ago. No issues at all.
Flashed the t mobile oreo firmware on july 4th when it came out and then flashed the g935u firmware as soon as it came out. Gotta say I love oreo on this device. it makes the phone so much faster and adds so many great features! ?
Does anyone think it will receive the android 9.0 update as well?

Have you tried a full data wipe thru recovery?

Yes. When I first factory reset it, I did it from inside Android. That did not resolve the WiFi issue. My next step was to reboot into recovery and factory reset the phone that way (format data/chache). Still did not work.
I re-installed Nougat through ODIN, and my WiFi works perfectly. I set my updates to manual this time, and will not update to Oreo. I only have to get by until October, then I can get my Pixel 3.
Thank you for your suggestion.
I had a problem after I installed the oreo. Maybe just a coincidence but after about 30 mins of installing the update, I got the grey lines on the screen. Saw some people had same problems even before the oreo. I tried going back to nougat and it is still there.
