Yes, c900 is global version. But you need a stock firmware on top of that. This is the suggestion from Huawei. I am not sure if there is nougat version available for c900.
If you change to c432 you will get plenty of options to choose the firmware especially European firmware. They are very stable, great battery life and you have all the features working properly. Once you change it to c432 you can update to b192 and then you will get system update to b560 and then you can jump to kangvip 577
So I would highly recommend you changing to c432. , all you need is srk tools, Huawei update extractor
This is the video tutorial by somboons or the guy who made srk tools. Just follow this tutorial
It is very easy and clear.
Use c432b192 or b180
Good luck

First you must Update to B188 via Local Update and then the Android 6.0 Firmware B524 via Local Updater too.
Here the Files:
https://mega.nz/#!jNEUkKDC!LXQegnIClkxMKjUkCG3c2WT1aoUR2gRb7Rn_zhoxW10 B188
https://mega.nz/#!OBVU3RyT!gSDNFMVtWVqA1HyneCuofhFmVVJ6lUDonzfKzjucbFs B524 Android 6.0
But the B524 Firmware Update works only on the B188 Firmware.

All work ? No have bugs ? All storage clear ? The guarantee is valid?
i've got the 4% error when installing B188, im on B170 now
The b525 is really more elaborate. Really more.
It's for single sim variant, need firmware B171(with kernel 9 October ).
The B525 is European too, the two beta have all the language of course
Good B171 for B525 here
http://consumer.huawei.com/cz/suppo...0=Mobile Phones&key1=Smartphones&key2=ALE-L01.
Because they are two B171Build but only one works with B525.

If you flash <C432OemInfo-DUALSIM-P9LITE> wtf you flash after that firmware with C636 localisation?
Is logic and predictible any flash on <C432OemInfo-DUALSIM-P9LITE>, another then C432 will result in C900 (global) localisation...

L31C432 , what roms can i flash?

Hi,
Just recently bought this phone for spare/workphone. I have installed Android 7.0, model number is L31 and fw version is C432B336.
Im not so experienced in Huawei world and i would like know what other rom version can i flash to this phone? Are all okay as long as its for L31? Or should it always be C432 variant?

anything that works on the l31, c432 means it's the european variant
So all L31 variants work? Or is there differences in lte bands lets say like 432 and 185 variants ?
You can flash whatever rom version you want.
As most of us, we've installed vns-l31c185/c636b360(latest version of Nougat) and we don't have bugs or problems.
No matter what oem info it has (oem info is the Variant/region of the phone, like c432 is for Europe, c185 is for mena , c636 asia i guess, correct me if I'm wrong) The version will be compatible with your phone.
I don't know if there is differences between oem info of each region , personally i installed c185b360+ the additional package of c432b328 over c432b161,( i was in mm and went to nougat) and i dont have problems with mobile data.
@simo255
Thanks for the answers. Like i said i currently have rooted L31c432b336 and revolution recovery.
If i want to update b360 should upgrade through dload method or twrp?

Via twrp you can flash nougat without changing oem info. If you want to update via dload you must have the oeminfo of the rom you want to install.( So if you are on C432 you can t flash C185 Ffirmware via dload because you havr c432 oeminfo) but be carefull..there arr lots of bricked devicea.

Sorry to rub it, but I want to be sure because I already had troubles when upgrading to nougat.
But....so in twrp I can just flash the bigger (abt 1.2gb) file and its should work? No need to flash second smaller zip?
I have had Sony devices past 3 year and I have used to flash those

Ive ashed the second file and it gaves me errors
Like i did , flash the bigger size and the additional package, take a look at my thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p9lite/how-to/nougat-official-firmware-t3512932
I will follow simo225's instructions.
Now I'm beginning to wonder what is the differences between smaller zip and additional zip, because I thought they were the same

The C900 version

Hi, recently I tried to upgrade my P9 lite to Nougat using Firmware Finder app. I downloaded and installed the B361 version but it was all buggy so I decided to do a rollback to MM. After doing the rollback I got a C900B160 version.
Is this C900 version a problem? Should I change it to C423?
Also, why was the B361 Nougat so buggy? Did I do something wrong?

if you flashed rollback package its ok to get that. just put marshmallow CxxxB161 ( Cxxx- means your number C432 C02 etc.. ) then with 3 buttons method flash marshmallow and you are good to go.

Latest firmware PRA-LX1

Hello,
I'm lost in Huawei firmware naming scheme.
I'm using update.PRA-LX1C02B370.zip
As far as i know, this firmware is Android 8.0.
1) i thought Bxxx was for Nougat, Cxxx was for Oreo. Why i have C02 and B370 is the same firmware ?
2) On this site https://easy-firmware.com/index.php?a=downloads&b=folder&id=21203 i can find others firmware.
I'm in europe. The latest in date is PRA-LX1 8.0.0.365(C10).
Above there is also some PRA-LX1 8.0.0.375(C900)
Wouldn't it be suitable for my phone ? It seems more advanced than the first. So what means C900 vs C10 ?
Thank you !

Actually 8.0.0.376 (C02).
As i'm FR, i certainly flashed this firmware to go from EMUI5 to EMUI8, because i certianly did not have Vodafone DE firmware initially.
The best move would be to move to 8.0.0.402 C432 or C900 firmware, but:
1) i don't really find this firmware to download
2) i would like to see the changelog
But i fear i can't really find thoses informations

Try to find service rom for your phone.
