Is the sourcecode for S8 already available? I assume it should or how could anybody write a custom ROM ?
If so, what development-suite (Compiler, Linker...) did you use?

Hello to you all!! I just bought a galaxy s4 i9500 variant and i want to know everything!!
Is this phone in active development? Do developers working on it to date?
Whats the defacto standard-should use kernel and rom?
I mean the most popular..
For example, the standard for my previous phone, the galaxy S3,was Boeffla Kernel
And Just archi was a genious who developed on this phone?? What about for this phone? Can someone guide me?
CHEERS!! :highfive:
Unfortunately, because of the Exynos processor, there isn't much development going on for the I9500.
The I9505 is more supported in terms of development.

By the time some developer has completed that rom, xposed for nougat would already be available.

Hi everyone,
I have a quick noobiesh question, I am looking to install a custom kernel on my Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950F) because I saw some test result of custom kernels and apparently, it possible to increase my battery life by 2 - 3 hours at best which is a lot.
Is it possible to flash a custom kernel on official firmware without needing to root the device?
