I'm looking for an app or maybe there's an option I don't know about in Android that could display reminder notes upon calling and receiving a call screens for a specific contact. for example if one of your contacts have a Bday today so it could be shown instead Facebook status, or if dad calls I have a note to ask for money I think it would be useful for allot of businessman and the common short memory users.
I'm sorry I'm bumping this, but there got to be something similar to what I asked, if you looked and found none please say so.

I'm considering to purchase one of the watches currently out there. I may have overlooked this but I couldn't see it, what kinds of notifications are shown on the watch? I was thinking that it will only show notifications for apps that have an Android Wear app available.
So I want to know will it show notifications if I use a 3rd party messaging application that came with the manufacturer or will it only show Google+ hangouts notifications?

is there a way to ungroup whatsapp notifications on my samsung galaxy s6? Cause when i get more than a message the only thing it displays is: 2 messages. I'd like to get them separated so i can read them from the watch.

I have the same problem.
With my MiA1 (Xiaomi MiA1, Android Oreo) I see at Amazfit Pace only the last message of each conversation.

I lost the ability to show the details of a message like when it was sent, which I used a lot. Is there a way to disable the emoji reactions in favor of the show details on long press?

I've recently upgraded to Oreo and just noticed that there are no more custom label sound/vibration settings for Gmail?!
Seems gmail is using the new concept that Oreo has, central app notification management which has only one setting per application.
Anyhow, i was extremely dependent on the different notification sound per label/priority inbox so this killed my productivity...
Anyone knows more about this??
edit: guess this is more of a general issue, not just for sgs8, so please delete this topic.
Only problem here since Oreo update is the badge numbers of Gmail notifications. If I have 2 New emails, the badge number is for example 16...

Thing is I don't have any email to read...
I have the same issue, 2 emails 15 badges. No unread emails. You are wrong. It does not work.

It's a gmail label alert problem in the Android 9 OS. (I found this out through hours on the phone with, first T-Mobile, and then Samsung, who finally concluded it was a problem with GOOGLE.) My phone was one of the last to get the update (April 2018), but this seems to have been a problem in the forums since January 2017. I, also rely on my google inbox LABELS each having different alert notification sounds to keep me working efficiently! i.e. Important Clients, Important Suppliers, Urgent/Waiting for Response, Important Personal. Each one of these gmail labels had its own ringtone assigned. But after this Android update, there is only ONE priority setting and ONE ringtone. I used to think that Android/Google/Samsung were the cutting edge in phones but, THIS IS A HUGE STEP BACKWARDS!
Someone recommended the light flow app, but it doesn't seem to work on my phone, (or it is just too complicated for me to set it up correctly.) I either need to find a simple fix/workaround or downgrade to the Android 7 OS, because Google obviously is not going to fix it anytime soon. And I can't work without it. If anyone knows of a good, easy to use, email alert app that works with gmail labels (sometimes called subfolders). please post!
