Pulling down notification bar problem!!!

Hi you all!
I'm so disappointed that after months there's still no stand-alone app which is able to pull down the notification bar and the quick settings of my device since the Lolliflop upgrade. I've downgraded once (was forced to upgrade again), contacted developers, today Samsung's customer support. What's left to do? Do I really need to downgrade once again? Is it really that hard to write an app like this?! Where are the developers?! Please help!
Many greetings

My suggestion would be factory resetting it.
Is there an app that does this on kitkat? Can u point me in the right direction?
^Search for these terms in the Play Store and you'll find them pretty easily.

Unfortunately they don't work in landscape mode for Note edge. .. [emoji20]
Any ideas to fix?
Really? Well, in landscape mode you can reach the status bar anyway much easier.

Not on note edge... there is no status bar in landscape mode....
This is good because space isn't wasted when for example u r using navigation...
But it would be good to be able to get notification bar down from the edge so that location can be turned on quickly when using navigation...
Thought this app would do it... but only works in portrait.
Can't you just swipe down from the top? What am I missing?
This: one hand use!

Swipe from the middle right edge to the center of the screen and back. It should shrink the screen for one hand use.
Thank you, but I know this gesture already. ?
Conceding defeat on this one. ...
I have the key features I need as shortcuts on an edge panel instead.
I am glad the status bar is hidden in landscape mode. .. means more usable screen area

Doesn't Nova Launcher do this? I have it set that I can swipe downwards anywhere on the home screen to bring down the notifications panel.

I haven't tried this specifically... but not sure it will work when the edge is at the top in landscape mode.
Have you been able to do this on the note edge?
It seems as if the edge blocks the notification panel coming down. ... no matter what app tries to bring it down.

Ah, I see. Sorry, I'm on a standard Note 4 can't help you there
But you could download the free version and give it a try, you never know.
EDIT: Just to confirm it DOES work in landscape mode on the standard Note 4.
Try this app, you can use it to customise the buttons or enable swipe actions to open notification bar etc

S Health on lock screen

Previous Galaxy devices would show the step count from S Health on the lock screen. For the life of me I can't figure out how to make this show on the S7 Edge. Has anyone else had luck with this?
You can use the edge feeds under the edge screen settings. Just swipe the edge when the display is off and have it show the S Health steps. I too miss the lock screen showing it, but that's a way to get it.

You can also use Good Lock (found in Galaxy apps) to app the S health widget to your lock screen. It works well.

I don't see an option for S Health in the edge screen feeds. Was there something you had to download?
No, it was there stock on mine, are you sure your looking in the Edge Feeds setting?

I'm looking at "Edge Panel Settings" where I have the option to select things like compass, weather, sports, news, stocks, etc. There isn't a specific item to select for S Health.

Edge panel open apps as a popup?

I've never been a fan of the edge display or the shortcuts and panels, not sure if I'm the only one thinking that samsung put a half baked feature.
Anyway I was asking if someone knows of an edge panel that lets you open apps as a floating window or popup, like opening the calculator, calendar or browser.

Hi....If you want to use floating windows go to .......Settings >> Advanced features >> Multi windows and set what you need........it's very simple and you're not required Edge panel for that.... [emoji6]
S7 edge Powered by Echoe
Thanks @Xode,
What I meant is to have a shortcut to launch them in a floating window directly.

Omg..double post again

@Xode, thanks, no problem about the triple post lol.
I know about that feature, but it's not what I also want, I want some sort of app that creates a shortcut that launches apps in floating mode directly,
it would really be nice to launch apps like the calculator from the edge panel in a floating window directly!
Thanks again for your help!
Maybe look at Swiftly switch sidebar or the Pro version . Also try apps edge from Galaxy apps (see next post for screenshot)
Screenshot referred above.
Ignore my post. Reread the op.

Edge Notifications

Someone already managed to extract the Edge Notifications from the S8, we lost the Edge Lightning with the nougat update, it will be great if someone managed to make it work again on the S7 Edge, thanks in advance...

Yes I know, mine is working too, but now you can't give different colours to the contacts and is always green, and the new notification on the S8 is so much better, I saw a video how it works.

S8+ Instagram stories

Hello,
I love the phone (s8+), but this ratio cuts off the sides of the photo when using the Story feature and then when someone is viewing that photo on a standard 16:9 phone, their screen cuts of the top and bottom of the photo! It ends up zoomed in by like 15%.
How I can fix it?
Thanks in advance
I was looking for the same thing. It's an app problem and instagram still hasn't fixed that for our phones (and other with the same screen ratio) . The only solution is the pop-up view right now

Enable it in advanced settings/multiwindows. Then when you are in the recent panel just press and drag instagram window to the center and here you go.
I tried that but it says you cant use instagram in multiwindows mode!!!! Another way?
They just disabled Instagram window mode?
