I recently updated Note 4 with April 1 patch and since then I feel like I'm experiencing battery drain than ever before.
Before, Android OS, Android system and Device idle only used 1%. Now its consuming 4-3% of the battery. Isn't it experiencing a battery drain than before? If so how can I resolve this issue?

Only after the KitKat update, my G2 at times drains battery while I'm not using it and the screen is off. It would drain 1% every 5 minutes or so, and is at about 100-100F. A reboot always fixes the issue but then it would happen again in about 2 or 3 days. I have no clue how to know what causes it since the KitKat update basically rendered Gsam and BBS useless.
Anyone else experiencing this? Jelly Bean on G2 was solid and I'm beginning to think KK did more harm than good.
Am I the only one who is facing battery drains since I updated the phone with the August patch? I mean, the battery life used to be awesome before, while now I barely reach 3/4 hours of screen on time... I can actually see the % dropping faster than before.
Should I try a factory reset? I never did it since I bought the phone on April...
Yes. I thought it was just me. I had Media Server chewing battery in the first day but now that seems to have called down and it jays not add good now.
I have the G935F and just received the August security patch about four days ago. I haven't observed that the battery is draining faster than prior to the patch.
I also have G935F and am having a lot of battery drainage after the August update. I don't know what to do!! Anybody got any ideas?
In regards to MediaServer.
If your using Google chrome then this can be a bug associated with it.
I disabled Chrome and started to use the Samsung Browser and up to now that's stopped MediaServer which was using approximately 24% of my battery according to the Stats. (Fingers crossed)
Or try Chrome Dev.

I own a h990n since December and notice since a couple of days that the phone is runing warmer and draining more battery than usual. I never seen such high system battery drain before. Does anyone has a explanation. The phone is stock and unrooted.
After Android Pie update on Nokia 6, overall battery life has been reduced drastically. Even keeping the phone edle has caused battery to drain about 20%. Even with adaptive battery ON, there massive battery drainage when compared to oreo in a given time.
Anyone with same issues and any suggestions for fixes or workaround?
I'm facing with quite similar issue as like you, but I haven't able to update my phone, because the battery level stays at 20% even if the phone is on the charger at all day (TA-1021). This problem started 2 days ago. Everithing is official on the device, no mods have made. It's just a year old phone.
Since I updated to Android 10 the idle battery drain on my k20 has been bad. Before Update it would drain 2-4% but after the update it drains like 10-15% overnight. But the SoT if I use is Good. Someone else's with same issue? And is there any fix to this?
