Has anyone successfully rooted an Android Wear 2.0 watch already? - Wear OS Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Has anyone successfully rooted an Android Wear 2.0 watch already?
I've read about successfully rooting earlier Android Wear versions with adb & fastboot & TWRP, but I've never seen anything about doing it with Android Wear 2.0. Anyone has any experience?
My LG Urbane has Android 7.1 installed and Android Wear 2.0.0.
I'd like to root it, but I'm sort of a beginner. I would only try it if it's 90% sure that I won't ruin it completely.
thanks for the answers in advance!

Yes. There's a thread in the Urbane Android development forum. EXT4ALL

Could you give me a link to that forum? By searching for "EXT4ALL" I found 10 pages of search results.
Why are you giving me answers that lead to nowhere? Could you please be more informative, communicative and helpful? I'm not arguing, I'm just asking for help that I can truly use.

Not only would I like to test this ROM, I might even be interested in trying to help build it (possibly starting once my Internet data cap resets tomorrow).

That would be helpful. I am having trouble downloading phablet bootstrap, but once that happens it looks like smooth sailing from there. I think I've even got the proprietary blobs thing figured out. You can pm me if you want

Would you be interested in having me as a second builder of the complete ROM? Also, I could try to help you with the bootstrap.

Good. I have the same. And I'm doing better with the repo sync after using faster Wi-Fi. My computer's not the fastest around

I'm actually almost done with the repo sync, and I've already got my system dump. I've gotta run it through a blob tracer.
This is awesome. I have been hoping someone would be working on porting to this phone. You should do a how to showing what steps are involved in porting this to the G4. Any chance of eventually having working cdma for verizon?

What version of Ubuntu are you running? I'm running Xubuntu 16.10 and apt can't find the mingw32 package, so the package installation step is failing for me.

AOSPA UNOFFICIAL PORT for Moto G5 Plus?

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone (I'm particularly thinking of @vache, @GtrCraft, and the other prominent devs for the G5 Plus) would be willing to build AOSPA 7.1.2 for the Moto G5 Plus. I think it would be awesome.
>>> OR <<<
I'd love to learn how to build this. If anyone knowledgeable in this are could point me in the right direction, I'd love to figure this out and start building.
Thanks!

I always loved aospa, and thought about port to g5+, but have a few problems. I never did this before. I saw that Ubuntu is needed to do it, and not having much time lately. ?
