So I thought about hiding the softkeys on my phone and replace them with sliding/swipe actions. So if you swipe from the button of your screen into it, there is the ring you see in lockscreen or when swiping from the softkeys up. From there you are able to select the default keys. Right top->multitasking, left top->back, middle top->home... If we use those swipe options, we have some more space to use on our phone and the 4.7 screen can fully be uses

Try using paranoid android or any rom with PIE feature. So you dont need navbar anymore.

Hi guys, the title says it all, it would be very cool if there was the possibility to launch notifications in spen windows (or also launch apps from recents in spen window) by long pressing it.
Is there already something like this (maybe an xposed module)?
Or is someone able/willing to do something like this?

Hi, whenever I launch Google Now, I get the request to choose my standard launcher when leaving the app. Android doesn't remember the setting. Anything I can do about that?

anybody on the new EMUI 5 managed to get lockscreen controls for Spotify working?
It seems that Huawei did not implement an easy solution for this yet again...
I gave Spotify all permissions regarding notifications but still I cannot control it on the lockscreen. I also cannot choose Spotify for the standard music app
Only workaround I found was the app Floatify but I would love a native solution.
Any tipps?

Yes but not every headset has the ability to do this...

For future reference:
Seems like it is an issue with magazine unlock. As soon as one single static background lockscreen picture is chosen (pause magazine unlock) the widget is displayed just fine.

This is not the point, I remove all pictures from the magazine and choose a single picture with no effect. No widget on lockscreen. Did you change something else. Thanks.

It seems that it only works when the device is locked for some time. When I lock and instantly turn it on again it is not there.
I have no idea what causes this... I hope the final version fixes it

After 30 minutes no widget. Do you use spotify beta, I read somewhere that this version should work.

To me for Spotify appearing in the lockscreen I had to move forward the next track with the commands built in the earphones and boom it appears.

Tried several older versions, normal and beta... All the same problem

So everytime I unlock my phone the wallpaper turn black.
I have wiped cache and dalvik and rebooted etc.
But I get this weird bug. I'm on fulmics but don't think it's related as was working fine until a few days ago.
Added some images to show. First pic with my wallpaper is fine.
As soon as I touch the screen. Goes black.
Should add the black screen has the "particle" unlock effect. No matter what one I select I get black wallpaper.
Changed theme and worked again for 5 minutes then beck to black screen
Same issue on lg g4 on firmware v29a.
Any hints?

So you using any themes? I'm using the pixel theme from play store.
When I'll leave the default background the effect on the lock screen works.
Will test it and report back....

I'll think I'll figured out out. When setting the lockscreen with nova launcher the issue pops up. But, when I'll set it with settings - lockscreen - background, it works...
