Is there a way to make the nav bar stay transparent for every app? (Without rooting)
I would also love do have. Option for it. Did you find d My app so far for it..

Is there any way to hide the navigation bar ONLY in the homescreen? I want to employ a theme that has to get rid of the navigation bar to work well but I don't want to get rid of it when i'm inside apps. I know there are roms that get rid of the bars completely until you toggle it back on but i rather have an automatic swithcer.
Try ParanoidAndroid with Pie. Pie replaces the nav bar and the ROM has theme support.
That is the one thing I would like. I currently have NOVA launcher. I like it because you can theme the icons and such but now I have the black status bar and black navi bar as well. In the stock launcher there is an option to make them both transparent. What am I missing?

I'm wondering the same thing. I've gone back to LG's launcher for this reason. Hopefully the ROM gods will add this as an option to add on.
I was going to come post the same thing. I just applied auto-hide soft keys and was wondering if this was an option. Using Nova and I pinch to bring the status bar and knock on to sleep on the status bar as well.

I have a transparent nav bar (the thing that you pull down to see your notifications... I'm a bit of a noob) and transparent status bar, and it is getting boring. I don't want the regular stock, but I'm not 100% on going to another ROM. If anyone knows a way to get a TRANSLUCENT bar (kind of like IOS 7's) it would make me a happy camper . I want to know if there is a way to put the status bar at the same color of the app. I meant in general in some app the status bar is darker than the color of the app, I just ant to make it translucent, is there a way to make it ? And I don't want to delete or hide it at all with ADB

is there a way to hide some icons from the notification bar?
for example bluetooth symbol, time, wifi status etc?
my unit does not have any option to hide them.

There is still confusion about what the statusbar is and what the notification bar is. You have the statusbar which can contain notification icons, etc. etc.
To me the notification bar is what you "drag down" from the statusbar. So I guess that what you mean is actually the statusbar.
(But I do not want to start a discussion about this, so call it what you want )
You have already asked questions in the CarwebGuru and FCC launcher thread. You should know by now that both can hide the statusbar (They both call it statusbar as well). They both have widgets/icons to show some of the wifi/bluetooth/etcetera icons. They both need access to "Access to notifications" to somehow display the notifications that apps or the system want to show.
If you are playing with both launchers I would first try to accomplish what you want with those launchers.

currently i am using Carwebguru, it really hides the statusbar, (not the dropdown), that is what i want, but if i am using radio or waze for example, this bar is always there. it is not a problem for me for it to be there but i wish to remove bluetooth status from there, current time, Wifi.
