Flashing T-Mobile Fireware on Sprint s7 edge - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answer

I was wondering if its possible to flash the T-Mobile firmware on to my sprint s7 edge.. My phone is unlocked and I currently have a T-Mobile sim in it and it works just fine but I hate having all the sprint bloat on the device since I'm no longer using the phone on sprint network.

I have Sprint phone working on T-Mobile service,
Whit T-Mobile firmware.
Just flash the T-Mobile firmware via Odin and everything
Going to be ok (like if you have a T-Mobile phone)

Does the phone need to be rooted to do this? I just moved to t-mobile from Sprint, and some functions like receiving MMS messages, don't work. Otherwise I love it.

T-mobile S7 on AT&T?

Anyone using an unlocked T-mobile S7 with an AT&T Sim? Do you get full LTE? Any difference in signal strength, etc?
Just curious. Im about to trade my S7 edge for a regular S7 cause I like the smaller size, but it's an unlocked t-mobile model. I know they both use the same bands so it should work fine. Just wondering about anyone else's experience. Thanks.
I'm using an unlocked T-Mobile on AT&T. I don't have any signal problems. I, however, cannot get volte to work. I'm in the process of looking to see if anyone has been able to maybe flash AT&T firmware onto a T-Mobile variant, or if we might be able to flash the stock firmware and use an ATT CSC to gain volte. I also don't get notifications from visual voicemail but visual voicemail does work. The notification comes through like a standard voicemail notification and then I have to open the VVM app and refresh to see the new message.
Thanks for the reply. Good to know. I don't use the volte actually I have it turned off because I seem to drop more calls with it on then with it off. But yeah if an AT&T stock fw could be flashed to it I think the tmo model would be preferable to me.

Unlocked Sprint S7 on MetroPCS -- No WiFi Hospot

I bought unlocked sprint s7 G930P that I'm using with metro PCS, but it's not letting me update the profile (progress circle keeps spinning and times out) and because of that I'm not getting the wifi hotspot option (
it's completely missing from the settings). How can I get it to work?
If it is a Unlocked Sprint S7, I recommend installing the G930U firmware onto it since Sprint Stock does not play well with other sim cards even though unlocked.

Alert! S7 Edge SM-G935A Andriod 7 Nougat update data not working non att/ nonatt mnvo

Hi ,
I have a unlokced at&t s7 galaxy edge and I was using it till yesterday on Tmobile network
every thing was working fine till this andriod 7/ Nougat update came in.
As everybody else I was very excited and let the phone go thru the udpate, everything went fine and I got andriod 7.
However after the update for some reason only mobile data ( I can make/receive calls) is not working on Tmobile network.
Thing I did as a intial troubleshoot
1. put the SIM into another phone to check there is no problem with the SIM/network outage. We found that there is no problem with sim/account and data/voice everything works exactly as it is supposed to work with another phone
2. I rechecked all the settings/apn/data/ etc many times on unlocked galaxy s7 edge phone but data is not working. I still see 4g/4g lte icon but I dont get the data. we tried manual search/resetting of network as well
4. I have put the H20 sim ( att MVNO) on same unlocked galaxy s7 edge phone and voila data works fine.
can you please help me, advise what are my options now ?
If you're using an AT&T device on the Tmo network and fail to send/receive data, have tested and confirmed the issue isn't hardware or software related by using an AT&T sim...I'd pose this question on the Tmo S7e forum. I myself am polar opposite; AT&T device running Tmo ROM with AT&T apn settings (obviously). Worked fine on MM, and still works great after N update.

Tmobile S8 to Unlocked S8 with AT&T Radios (Carrier Switch)

All,
I have an original TMobile, Galaxy S8, G950U. I unlocked it through TMobile and I purchased a Straight Talk BYOP kit from the local Wally-Mart, and put the AT&T SIM into my S8.
I know there are a number of guides out there, to do carrier switching. Trust me I have downloaded GBs worth of carrier firmware and combination firmware, eng boot, what have you. Nothing has worked as far as allowing me to carrier switch.
Here is my issue. The building where I work sucks for Tmobile. It is a hardened building and TMobile's signal does not penetrate. AT&T and Verizon work great. I unlocked my phone through TMobile and was able to flash the unlocked firmware on it. But, in theory, this did not enable all the AT&T radios, because I have an AT&T work phone and it works fine in the same spot, but my S8 cannot send or receive calls, in the exact same spot.
The problem is that I am on Bootloader V3 and I cannot for the life of me find an EngBoot with V3, so I can do a carrier switch and flash the AT&T modem. If someone has been able to do this, or if I just suck at searching, then please let me know, I'll be glad to take the hit.
So if anyone can point me the right direction for BLV3 carrier switches, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks all, for looking and trying to help.

Need Advice- Sprint s7 edge switching to Red pocket at&t

Hi Guys, I am looking for some advice, I have a carrier unlocked s7 edge from Sprint ( our contract just ended and we called to unlock) that I would like to use Red pocket (at&t MVNO) GSMA service on. Would it be better to put the sim card in and activate on the stock sprint s7 edge software, OR should I try and find a stock at&t firmware on the device? Thanks for any advice!
