Anyone having this problem?
I'm currently on B29 stock, but I'm pretty sure it was on stock B19 7.1.1 as well.
Love to fix this, thanks.

Hey guys,
I've been searching around but can't quite figure out what to do here. I rooted my phone RIGHT after I got it. I think I installed some sort of update.zip cyanogen made for it. I can't remember what all I did, but I want this latest update. I see that there is a cyanogen mod but I can't find any clear instructions for my situation. There is a radio update and a normal update. I remember from my G1/Sense UI days that you don't mess around with those, so how do I proceed?
Thanks.
Never mind, got it. The main rooting tutorial has it at the end if anyone is looking in the future.
Hi guys,
i'm not able to activate yotamirror: whenever I start it from the front display, on the back there's not the mirror but an instructions splash screen with "skip" or "continue" options, that i can't tap. it seems like just an image. I've tried to flash stock EU and RU roms with no luck.
I have no idea how to achieve to have it working. Please help

Can't tell if you're serious or not
I can't keep trying, it's like tapping on an image.
Update:
Problem is about the firmware EU-1.124b, I've downgraded to 1.87a and it's working.
Contacted yotaphone with the website form (they are kind and really fast) and now I'm waiting to have news from the technical dept. I will update as soon as I can get YotaMirror working with latest firmware.
Did you get any news on this? I think I have run into the same problem, and I am rather surprised that the signature feature of the phone is not working on the latest firmware. The problem with downgrading is that the old version is not certified by safetynet, so a number of applications (such as NFC payment) will not work.
PS: How do you downgrade?
Ok, I managed to downgrade using Yotaflasher, and with Android 4.4, both safetynet and YotaMirror work fine. The only bug remaining is severe ghosting on the EPD.
A few months ago my Moto X Style XT1572 was running the rom Dirty Unicorns 7.1.1.
When nougat came out i wanted to go back to stock. But it seemed i couldn't go back.
My phone started a bootloop. After hours of flashing and failing every time it suddenly worked.
The weird thing was that it worked with the file: X_Style_XT1572_CLARK_RETASIA_5.1.1_LPH23.116-18.1_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
This is weird because im from europe. But oh well i thought i have a working phone.
The only thing is that wont update via OTA.
Now i want to flash to nougat, but i'm a little scared of my phone getting in a bootloop again. Is it safe to update?
If so, should i use RETASIA or RETEU? Or doesn't that make a difference?
Thank you for your help
Hey all, I was wondering if anyone could provide me with the stock recovery image from N.
The original from MM will fail when trying to system update because the updates are looking for a newer version of the rom than it thinks I am running. I have not been able to find a newer recovery anywhere.
Help me, XDA. You're my only hope.
p.s. if someone could just give me the newest image I'll just try flashing it in fastboot.
I'm having some sort of software issue with my touchscreen only working intermittently. It works fine after waking from screen off but then decides to quit at some point. I wanna totally replace my system image and the OTA packages don't contain a system image.
In this MEGA link you'll find stock recoveries from Shakalaca. In my case, since mine came preloaded with MM, Nougat recoveries won't work for me. Maybe you'll different results from it?

I'll just say "thank you," but you can safely assume that it comes with several pages worth of exclamation points that I will omit for brevity.
Seriously, thanks! Hopefully this will work out!
I have acquired a used G6 H872 (T-Mobile). I have been unable to get it network unlocked so the phone is useless to me. I am looking to sell it but first I need to solve the camera issue.
When I first received it, the phone was on stock and the camera worked. I unlocked the bootloader, rooted it, and installed MSM Extended. The camera worked. After deciding to sell it I restored it to stock with LGUP/kdz. Now the camera opens but the screen is black. This is the second time I've encountered this with a T-Mobile G6. Why is this happening? And how do I fix it?
Thanks!

You need to flash stock Nougat, and camera will work. Arter that you can updrage to Oreo and then to Pie.

Thanks for the reply. I thought I can't go back to Nougat because of anti-rollback.
Doesn't matter anymore. Found a cheap service that unlocked the phone. Installed MSM Extended and camera works again.
I wonder what breaks the camera in the stock ROM, and why it works in custom ROM.

Since I now have two H872 G6's that have exhibited the same camera issue, I decided to try rolling back to Nougat. First, I was wrong - I was able to roll back.:good: Second, rolling back completely fixed the camera issue, in addition to the proximity sensor! :good::good: The only remaining issue with that particular phone is that the haptic feedback/vibration doesn't work.
