There is an app to lock/unlock the Bootloader for Galaxy Nexus phones "BootUnlocker 1.6.1" (http://www.apkhere.com/app/net.segv11.bootunlocker). From reading the info about it, it seems to be a great app. Has anyone tried to install it on Axon 7? Is there a similar app for Axon 7 (I could not find one)and if not, is it possible for our Axon 7 experts to write one?
Thank you.

No takers, no responses, no comments?!!
Nexus unlock is so simple there isn't even a need for an app. axon is much more complex and an app simply could not do it.
The toolkit should be enough for those who need it.

You would need to get in unlocked with Chevron first. If you have 7008, then you need to flash an older ROM and unlock with Chevron. As for the apps, go here for the Youtube app:

Once unlocked, you can also install the Notes app from here:

Hi Guys
I have recently isntalled a custom rom on my phone, and before that I had interop unlocked my phone (omnia 7). Both times I was able to install Nokia Drive (which is an app I would really like), but it tells me that the app does not work on my handset whenever I launch the app.
Any ideas on how to get it to work on the omnia 7?
You need to use patched version. Google for it since I can't post you the link here(I'm not sure it's allowed. If you still can't find it pm me...

A quick search of the forums will turn up loads of guides on how to do it mate
I have a Nexus 7, and I want to do video tutorials to show other people how to do certain things on the Nexus 7. I don't want to root, and I've tried doing the ADB/[email protected] thing on a Windows XP computer, then plugging my Nexus in. On the devices list, nothing shows up. Is there a better tutorial out there, or a better way to record screen? I'd really appreciate help. Thanks!
ATM screencast in the android market doesn't support the nexus line yet. If you have a digital camera you can use that. Your smart phone will work too.

Just found a solution
This isn't perfect, but it's the best thing I've found so far:
I can't post a link because I'm new here as a member, but search the Play store for MirrorOP Sender.
It's called MirrorOP Sender, and it pushes a video feed of the screen. Get MirrorOP Receiver for Windows or another android device and you can get the video feed there, and control the device from it. You could do a "proxy screen caster", perhaps, but not a direct one.
There are some apps int the market but none of them works on Tegra2 or Tegra3...
You can still give a try...

As I await the arrival of my Nexus 6p a thought occurred to me. Is it possible to view an iCloud shared photo stream with a nexus device? I did a search and found workarounds for much of the iCloud functionality but not the photo sharing. Anybody have any ideas on this?

Appreciate the folks who looked. Sounds like nobody has figured out a workaround just yet. I will keep my eyes open for it. Love the new phone BTW.

As with most things apple, short answer is no.
Not sure if theres a web link which allows you to view images.
Another option would be to remote onto your home PC / Laptop and view from there, Apple will never release anything like that for Android or allow it to happen, it'd ruin their overwhelmingly tight eco system.
Potentially it's possible but i've never heard of a way to do it, maybe it might be an idea to get rid of Apple before it becomes to big of a thing to lose, then they have you.
