if you are talking about Android Webview package... you can simply update it via Google play store or if it fails try downloading it via Apkmirror and manually updating it if not work. Remove it and install it as normal app.

Uninstall the Xposed module you've enabled.
Then remove WebView folder from /system/app or /system/priv-app and then reboot.
Then search for WebView in play store or get it from apkmirror. I haven't tested this on CM, but there shouldn't be any problem. And always take a backup before.

You can simply open a browser as the browsers use WebView. However, some browsers use their own WebView and I think might work even without the one from system.
So, search for Naked Browser in Play Store or Google and install it. This browser use the WebView installed in phone and if the WebView doesn't work, then the browser will force close.

You need at least this package: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121212-signed.zip
For CM10.1 Nightlies since they are 4.2.2 now.
I've used them but I will try again

All the google apps, I also re-flashed it and it still didn't work. :l
Well the apps that come in the gapps now are Talk, Play Store, Browser, Calendar, News, Quick Search, and some other minor stuff.
Gmail, Chrome, Voice, G+ and others are downloadable from the Play Store.
Is there not a pack with them in?

Make sure you reboot once with WiFi on.
As long as you have Play Store - just go in and search for any Google app, then scroll down and find the line that says MORE BY GOOGLE INC. Tap that and you'll see everything else you can install.
I have deodexed the apps, framework, and priv-app from the latest Lollipop I9505XXUHOB8. I can get it to install ok but when I boot in the system most of the google apps, playstore, google+, books etc FC. Clearing cache and stuff in the application manager doesn't help. I also am unable to install any version of gapps as it give error 40, not compatible with the apps in the system. Anyone who has been successful in getting deodex to install in a stock system without building a full rom, I would appreciate knowing to stop the FC's from happening with google stuff and why gapps are failing. I have been to the gapps thread but not of much help at this time. Thanks in advance...
A little more information. I use JoelDroidLollipopBatchDeodexer to do the deodexing. Just hoping that some rom devs can share their secrets on how to get the google apps to not FC. Reaching out to @slim80, @Albe95, @ambasadii, @Kushan02, for some help please.

Tale it from a gapps package for paranoid android cyano or some other rom. If that not work too then best way is to remove completely all gapps and keep only PStore and GMSCore (play service)

Yes, it's working on latest CM 11 build. Here is the latest version downloaded today from Google Play - Google Translate 5.1.0RC04.124179590.apk
It works without Google Apps, which you can uninstall using Google Apps Remover

I have installed cm-11-20160608-NIGHTLY-mb52x, the newer versions have no modification as far as I know (CM11 Android 4.4 Nightlies Changelog).
I don't usually have gapps installed because they make the phone very slow. Last time I installed Open GApps pico, installed the apps I need from Google play, then used Google Apps Remover to delete them and make the phone usable again
Hi everybody,
I want to show you how to install Viper4android on your phone running developer preview 3 or later with Android O.
IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR PHONE!!
First download the zip from Androidfilehost or from below.
Zip
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298967857
Busybox
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=961840155545578665
Extract it to any folder, you will have two files now, a Viper4android App and a flashable Viper4android zip.
Reboot into recovery and install the zip, I also recommend a custom kernel like the Jolla Kernel which already has Android O support for loudness control (for my Nexus 5X).
Boot normally install BusyBox and launch Viper4android.
Select install drivers, grant root permission and wait until it is installed.
If a IO Error occurrs don't worry it'll work anyway.
Reboot and open any file manager.
Delete the Viper4android folder in "/system/priv-app".
Delete "/system/vendor/etc/audio_effects".
Install Viper4android app you downloaded before.
Reboot once again and open Viper4android - driver are working now.
Tested on my Nexus 5X with Android 8 developer preview 3.
Leave a like if it helped.

I have not implemented yet. Was wondering if anybody else had. Now using SuperSu 2.82-SR5 and TWRP 3.1.1.0. Now that TRWP works now without having to fastboot, I will try this mod. If I get it working I will let you know.

Language only english and china?
Installed it, nice!
I did it the not official way, installed the zip via local update.
Some apps not working, most of them do though.
Should I install gapps mini as recommended?
And uninstall play store? The official play store works fine.
What is the official way to install it? Via recovery I guess?
I will try that.
Thanks for the ROM!

No, no play store, I went to recovery after my dirty upgrade, it was all in Chinese, I clicked on something, I guess it was wipe and clear cache, every thing was gone, continued and had a clean install.
Deleted all the Chinese apps.
Downloaded play store apk, and now busy installing my apps.
To be continued...

This is H2OS which is China's version of OOS. It does not have gapps because Google isn't allowed in China. You'll have to sideload google services or as the other user said opengapps mini works.
